An computationally efﬁcient damage identiﬁcation technique for the planar and space truss structures is presented based on the force method and the micro ge-netic *** this purpose,the general equilibrium equations and the kinematic relations in which the reaction forces and the displacements at nodes are take into ac-count,respectively,are *** compatibility equations in terms of forces are explicitly presented using the singular value decomposition(SVD)*** governing equations with unknown reaction forces and initial elongations are ***,the micro genetic algorithm(MGA)is used to properly identify the site and ex-tent of multiple damage cases in truss *** order to verify the accuracy and the superiority of the proposed damage detection technique,the numerical solutions are presented for the planar and space truss *** numerical results indicate that the combination of the force method and the MGA can provide a reliable tool to accurately and efﬁciently identify the multiple damages of the truss structures.

Very late stent thrombosis （VLST） is increasingly being regarded as a complication of drug-eluting stents （DES）, and delayed endothelization, local hypersensitivity reactions, and late stent malapposition due to excessive positive remodeling have been postulated as mechanisms. Considering that stent endothelialization seems to be completed within 4 weeks following bare-metal stent （BMS） placement and that BMS do not possess antiproliferative coating, the mechanism of VLST may differ between patients with DES and those with BMS. We report a case of VLST 9 years after BMS implantation, in which thrombus from the ruptured neointima was confirmed by intravascular ultrasound. This finding suggests that de novo plaque rupture at the neointimal layer within the stent may be one of the explanations for VLST.

An efficient synthesis of benzoxazole-substituted 3,4-dihydropyrimidinones （DHPMs） using trifluoro acetic acid as the catalyst for the first time from an aldehyde, 13-keto ester and benzoxazole-substituted urea/thiourea under solvent-free conditions is described. Compared to the classical Biginelli reaction conditions, this new method consistently has the advantage of excellent yields （80-91%） and short reaction time （40-130 min） at reflux temperature. 2009 M. Optimization of airfoil characteristics such as lift and drag is essential for high efficiency wind turbine blade design. In this research, effects of airfoil lift and drag on blade power coefficients were investigated by using of wind turbine blade design software, PROPID. Firstly, a wind turbine blade of 2MW class was designed with DU-serics airfoils in the inner part and with aNACA series airfoil as a main airfoil in the outer part. Lift distribution was set to have near L/D maximum at each span station. Then, lift and drag curves were modified to observe effect of L/D variation. Drag and lift change with constant L/D on blade power coefficient was also studied for sensitivity investigation. Each case was optimized with Newtonian iteration incorporated in PROPID. High design lift coefficient results in less chord length and twist angle to maintain same aerodynamic load level. And, power coefficient wasn＇t improved much with high L/D. During the process, optimal inputs such as lift distribution, design lift and induction factors were suggested. As results, it was found that L/D maximization was important to obtain high efficiency. For the L/D maximization, lift maximization was important to minimize structural weight, but decreasing drag didn＇t affect the blade shape.

Influenza epidemics frequently and unpredictably break out all over the world,and seriously affect the breeding industry and human *** and live attenuated viruses have been used as protective vaccines but exhibit high risks for *** vaccines enjoy high biosafety and specificity but have a few weak points compared to inactivated virus or live attenuated virus vaccines,especially in low *** this study,we developed a new subunit vaccine platform for a potent,adjuvant-free,and multivalent *** ectodomains of hemagglutinins(HAs)of influenza viruses were expressed in plants as trimers(tHAs)to mimic their native *** in plant extracts were directly used without purification for binding to inactivated Lactococcus(iLact)to produce iLact-tHAs,an antigen-carrying bacteria-like particle(BLP).tHAs BLP showed strong immune responses in mice and chickens without ***,simultaneous injection of two different antigens by two different formulas,t^(HAH5N6+H9N2) BLP or a combination of t^(HAH5N6) BLP and t^(HAH9N2) BLP,led to strong immune responses to both *** on these results,we propose combinations of plant-based antigen production and BLP-based delivery as a highly potent and cost-effective platform for multivalent vaccination for subunit vaccines.
