摘 要:Dear Editor For over 30 years,3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A(HMG-CoA)reductase inhibitors,statins,have been recommended worldwide as cost-effective lipid-lowering drugs for cardiovascular disease[1].Cheng et *** that lipid synthesis inhibitors are a promising anti-cancer treatment in preclinical studies and early phases of clinical trials[2].However,the association between statin use and cancer incidence or survival remains controversial[3,4].
