High-sensitivity room-temperature multi-dimensional infrared(IR)detection is crucial for military and civilian ***,the gapless electronic structures and unique optoelectrical properties have made the two-dimensional(2D)topological semimetals promising candidates for the realization of multifunctional optoelectronic ***,we demonstrated the in-situ construction of high-performance 1T’-MoTe_(2)/Ge Schottky junction device by inserting an ultrathin AlOx passivation *** good detection performance with an ultra-broadband detection wavelength range of up to 10.6 micron,an ultrafast response time of~160 ns,and a large specific detectivity of over 109 Jones in mid-infrared(MIR)range surpasses that of most 2D materials-based IR sensors,approaching the performance of commercial IR *** on-chip integrated device arrays with 64 functional detectors feature high-resolution imaging capability at room *** these outstanding detection features have enabled the demonstration of position-sensitive detection *** demonstrates an exceptional position sensitivity of 14.9 mV/mm,an outstanding nonlinearity of 6.44%,and commendable trajectory tracking and optoelectronic demodulation *** study not only offers a promising route towards room-temperature MIR optoelectronic applications,but also demonstrates a great potential for application in optical sensing systems.

The recurrent extreme El Niño events are commonly linked to reduced vegetation growth and the land carbon sink over many but discrete regions of the Northern Hemisphere(NH).However,we reported here a pervasive and continuous vegetation greening and no weakened land carbon sink in the maturation phase of the 2015/2016 El Niño event over the NH(mainly in the extra-tropics),based on multiple evidences from remote sensing observations,global ecosystem model simulations and atmospheric CO_(2)*** discovered a significant compensation effect of the enhanced vegetation growth in spring on subsequent summer/autumn vegetation growth that sustained vegetation greening and led to a slight increase in the land carbon sink over the spring and summer of 2015(average increases of 23.34%and 0.63%in net ecosystem exchange from two independent datasets relative to a 5-years average before the El Niño event,respectively)and spring of 2016(6.82%),especially in the extra-tropics of the NH,where the water supply during the pre-growing-season(November of the previous year to March of the current year)had a positive *** seasonal compensation effect was much stronger than that in 1997 and 1998 and significantly alleviated the adverse impacts of the 2015/2016 El Niño event on vegetation growth during its maturation *** legacy effect of water supply during the pre-growing-season on subsequent vegetation growth lasted up to approximately six *** findings highlight the role of seasonal compensation effects on mediating the land carbon sink in response to episodic extreme El Niño events.

The study of tumor nanovaccines(NVs)has gained interest because they specifically recognize and eliminate tumor ***,the poor recognition and internalization by dendritic cells(DCs)and insufficient immunogenicity restricted the vaccine ***,we extracted two molecular-weight Astragalus polysaccharides(APS,12.19 k D;APSHMw,135.67 k D)from Radix Astragali and made them self-assemble with OVA257–264directly forming OVA/APS integrated nanocomplexes through the microfluidic *** nanocomplexes were wrapped with a sheddable calcium phosphate layer to improve *** in the formed nanocomplexes served as drug carriers and immune adjuvants for potent tumor *** optimal APS-NVs were approximately 160 nm with uniform size distribution and could remain stable in physiological saline *** FITC-OVA in APS-NVs could be effectively taken up by DCs,and APS-NVs could stimulate the maturation of DCs,improving the antigen cross-presentation efficiency in *** possible mechanism was that APS can induce DC activation via multiple receptors such as dectin-1 and Toll-like receptors 2 and *** accumulation of APS-NVs both in draining and distal lymph nodes were observed following *** APS-NVs could easily access the lymph ***,APS-NVs could markedly promote antigen delivery efficiency to DCs and activate cytotoxic T *** addition,APS-NVs achieve a better antitumor effect in established B16-OVA melanoma tumors compared with the OVA+Alum treatment *** antitumor mechanism correlated with the increase in cytotoxic T cells in the tumor ***,the poor tumor inhibitory effect of APS-NVs on the nude mouse model of melanoma also confirmed the participation of antitumor adaptive immune response induced by ***,this study developed a promising APS-based tumor NV that is an efficient tumor immunotherapy without systemic side effects.

Theoretical perspectives on the reduction of Pu(Ⅳ)and Np(Ⅵ)by methylhydrazine in HNO_(3)solution:Implications for Np/Pu separation

Effective adjustment and control of the oxidation state of plutonium(Pu)and neptunium(Np)is an indispensable component of Np/Pu separation in spent nuclear fuel *** hydrazine derivatives including methylhydrazine(CH_(3)N_(2)H_(3))effectively achieves the reduction of Np(Ⅵ)to Np(V)without reducing Pu(Ⅳ).Herein,we explored the reduction mechanisms of Pu(Ⅳ)and Np(Ⅵ)by CH_(3)N_(2)H_(3)in HNO_(3)solution using scalar-relativistic density functional *** elucidated the difference in the reduction mechanism between Np(Ⅵ)and Pu(Ⅳ)ions by CH_(3)N_(2)H_(3).The energy barrier for the reduction of[NpⅥO_(2)(H_(2)O)_(5)]^(2+)and[NpⅥO_(2)(NO_(3))(H_(2)O)_(3)]^(+)by CH_(3)N_(2)H_(3)is largely different due to the coordination of nitrate ***,the energy barrier of the reduction of[NpⅥO_(2)(H_(2)O)_(5)]^(2+)is apparently lower than that of[PuⅣ(NO_(3))_(2)(H_(2)O)_(7)]^(2+),which is in line with the experimental *** results of Mayer bond order and localized molecular orbitals clarify the structural evolution of the reaction *** of the spin density demonstrates that the first Np(Ⅵ)and Pu(Ⅳ)reduction belongs to the outer-sphere electron transfer and the second Np(Ⅵ)and Pu(Ⅳ)reduction is the hydrogen *** study explains theoretically why CH_(3)N_(2)H_(3)reduces Np(Ⅵ)but not Pu(Ⅳ),and helps to design promising reductants for the Np/Pu separation in spent nuclear fuel reprocessing.

Characteristics of the electromagnetic wave propagation in magnetized plasma sheath and practical method for blackout mitigation

“Magnetic window”is considered as an effective method to solve the communication blackout *** software package based on the finite element method is utilized to simulate the propagation of right-handed circularly polarized wave in the magnetized plasma *** assume a double Gaussian model of electron density and an exponential attenuation model of magnetic *** propagation characteristics of right-handed circularly polarized wave are analyzed by the observation of the reflected,transmitted and loss *** numerical results show that the propagation of right-handed circularly polarized wave in the magnetized plasma sheath varies for different incident angles,collision frequencies,non-uniform magnetic fields and non-uniform plasma *** notice that reducing the wave frequency can meet the propagation conditions of whistle mode in the weak magnetized plasma *** the transmittance of whistle mode is less affected by the variation of the electron density and the collision *** can be used as a communication window.

The traits of rural domestic sewage emission are unclear,negatively affecting rural domestic sewage treatment and sewage *** study used data from the Second National Pollution Source Census Bulletin to establish a data *** spatial distribution characteristics and main factors influencing rural sewage discharge in the Northern Region were studied using spatial autocorrelation analysis and structural *** findings demonstrated that(l)a significant Spearman correlation between drainage water volume(DwV),chemical oxygen demand(COD),ammonia nitrogen(NH_(3)-N),total nitrogen(TN),and total phosphorus(TP)and that the correlation coefficients between DWV and COD,NH,-N,Tnand TP were 0.87**,1.0**,0.99**,0.99**,respectively;(2)rural sewage discharge showed spatial autocorrelation,and rural domestic sewage discharge in the districts and counties with an administration was significantly higher than in the surrounding areas;and(3)social development was the main driver rural domestic sewage changes(path coefficient was 0.407**),and the main factors influencing rural domestic sewage discharge were the urbanization rate,years of education,and population age *** study obtained the spatial variation law and clarified the main influencing factors of rural domestic sewage to provide data support and a theoretical basis for subsequent rural sewage collection and *** of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in northern China as a typical case,provides a theoretical foundation for scientific decision-making on rural domestic sewage treatment at the national and regional levels and offers new perspectives for managing pollutants.

Asia stands out as a priority for urgent biodiversity conservation due to its large protected areas(PAs)and threatened *** the 21st century,both the highlands and lowlands of Asia have been experiencing the dramatic human ***,the threat degree of human expansion to biodiversity is poorly ***,the threat degree of human expansion to biodiversity over 2000 to 2020 in Asia at the continental(Asia),national(48 Asian countries),and hotspot(6,502 Asian terrestrial PAs established before 2000)scales is investigated by integrating multiple large-scale *** results show that human expansion poses widespread threat to biodiversity in Asia,especially in Southeast Asia,with Malaysia,Cambodia,and Vietnam having the largest threat degrees(~1.5 to 1.7 times of the Asian average level).Human expansion in highlands induces higher threats to biodiversity than that in lowlands in one-third Asian countries(most Southeast Asian countries).The regions with threats to biodiversity are present in~75%terrestrial PAs(including 4,866 PAs in 26 countries),and human expansion in PAs triggers higher threat degrees to biodiversity than that in *** findings provide novel insight for the Sustainable Development Goal 15(SDG-15 Life on Land)and suggest that human expansion in Southeast Asian countries and PAs might hinder the realization of *** reduce the threat degree,Asian developing countries should accelerate economic transformation,and the developed countries in the world should reduce the demands for commodity trade in Southeast Asian countries(i.e.,trade leading to the loss of wildlife habitats)to alleviate human expansion,especially in PAs and highlands.
