In industrial drives, electric motors are extensively utilized to impart motion control and induction motors are the most familiar drive at present due to its extensive performance characteristic similar with that of DC drives. Precise control of drives is the main attribute in industries to optimize the performance and to increase its production rate. In motion control, the major considerations are the torque and speed ripples. Design of controllers has become increasingly complex to such systems for better management of energy and raw materials to attain optimal performance. Meager parameter appraisal results are unsuitable, leading to unstable operation. The rapid intensification of digital computer revolutionizes to practice precise control and allows implementation of advanced control strategy to extremely multifaceted systems. To solve complex control problems, model predictive control is an authoritative scheme, which exploits an explicit model of the process to be controlled. This paper presents a predictive control strategy by a neural network predictive controller based single phase induction motor drive to minimize the speed and torque ripples. The proposed method exhibits better performance than the conventional controller and validity of the proposed method is verified by the simulation results using MATLAB software.

This paper proposes an effective Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) controller being incorporated into a solar Photovoltaic system supplying a Brushless DC (BLDC) motor drive as the load. The MPPT controller makes use of a Genetic Assisted Radial Basis Function Neural Network based technique that includes a high step up Interleaved DC-DC converter. The BLDC motor combines a controller with a Proportional Integral (PI) speed control loop. MATLAB/simulink has been used to construct the dynamic model and simulate the system. The solar Photovoltaic system uses Genetic Assisted-Radial Basis Function-Neural Network (GA-RBF-NN) where the output signal governs the DC-DC boost converters to accomplish the MPPT. This proposed GA-RBF-NN based MPPT controller produces an average power increase of 26.37% and faster response time.

Objective:Clitoria ternatea is a well-known bioactive plant used to treat several inflammatory ailments in Ayurvedic system of medicine in *** present investigation aimed to determine the antiinflammatory and anti-arthritic activity of ethanolic extract of Clitoria ternatea roots(EECT) in animal ***:The anti-inflammatory activity of the EECT was evaluated by carrageenan and histamineinduced paw ***:EECT showed a significant reduction in mean paw edema volume in both carrageenan and histamine-induced *** efficacy of EECT in rheumatoid arthritis was tested against Freund's complete adjuvant(CFA) induced arthritic model in Wistar *** anti-arthritic effect of EECT was determined by systematic scoring of arthritis symptoms and measuring paw edema.A considerable decrease in paw diameter was observed in the EECT(200 and 400 mg/kg) and diclofenac(10 mg/kg) treated groups after day ***(10 mg/kg) and EECT(400 mg/kg) showed a significant reduction in paw diameter from day 14 compared with CFA control(P s also confirmed from the altered biochemical,haematological(Hb,RBC and WBC) and anti-oxidant parameters(sOD,MDA,CAT,and GsH).EECT(400 and 200 mg/kg) also showed a marked inhibition of joint ***:This study provides a pharmacological rationale for the traditional use of *** against inflammation and rheumatoid arthritis in India.

A comparative study is done in regards to the performance of the popular Perturb and Observe algorithm and the Genetic Assisted-Radial Basis Function-Neural Network (GA-RBF-NN) algorithm, both incorporating the Interleaved Boost converter. The Perturb and Observe method (P&O) is inarguably the most commonly used algorithm as its advantages pertaining to its ease in implementation and simplicity enable to track the Maximum Power Point (MPP). However, it is absolutely unreliable when subjected to rapidly fluctuating irradiation and temperature levels. More importantly, the system has the tendency to swing back and forth about the Maximum Power Point without reaching stability. At this juncture, the implementation of the Genetic-Assisted Radial Basis Function (GA-RBF) algorithm helps the system achieve MPP at a shorter time when compared to the Perturb and Observe technique. The ever reliable and robust Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm is included along with the MPPT controller that minimizes the Mean square Error (MsE) and aids in faster training of the neural network. This PV system drives a brushless DC motor (BLDC), employing rotor position sensors.

This project proposes a novel dual-input matrix converter (DIMC) which is used to integrate the output of the wind energy to a power grid. The proposed matrix converter is developed based on the traditional indirect matrix converter under reverse power flow operation mode, but with its six-switch voltage source converter replaced by a nine-switch configuration followed by the current source inverter (CsI). Matrix electric power conversion topologies and their switch functions are flexible and are used for specific applications. With the additional three switches, the proposed DIMC can provide six input terminals, which make it possible to integrate two independent AC sources from two independent wind turbines into a single grid tied power electronics interface. Commanded currents can be extracted from the two input sources to the grid. The proposed PI control and modulation schemes guaranteed sinusoidal input and output waveforms as well as reduced THD. The simulation results are provided to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control and modulation schemes for the proposed converter.

This work presents an implementation of an innovative single phase multilevel inverter using capacitors with reduced switches. The proposed Capacitor pattern H-bridge Multilevel Inverter (CPHMLI) topology consists of a proper number of Capacitor connected with switches and power sources. The advanced switching control supplied by Pulse Width Modulation (PDPWM) to attain mixed staircase switching state. The charging and discharging mode are achieved by calculating the voltage error at the load. Furthermore, to accomplish the higher voltage levels at the output with less number of semiconductors switches and simple commutation designed using CPHMLI topology. To prove the performance and effectiveness of the proposed approach, a set of experiments performed under various load conditions using MATLAB tool.

AIM: To screen for the co-infection of hepatitis B (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infected patients in southern India. METHODs: Five hundred consecutive HIV infected patients were screened for Hepatitis B Virus (HBsAg and HBV-DNA) and Hepatitis C virus (anti-HCV and HCV-RNA) using commercially available ELIsA kits; HBsAg, HBeAg/ anti-HBe (Biorad laboratories, UsA) and anti-HCV (Murex Diagnostics, UK). The HBV-DNA PCR was performed to detect the surface antigen region (pre s-s). HCV-RNA was detected by RT-PCR for the detection of the constant 5' putative non-coding region of HCV. REsULTs: HBV co-infection was detected in 45/500 (9%) patients and HCV co-infection in 11/500 (2.2%) subjects. Among the 45 co-infected patients only 40 patients could be studied, where the detection rates of HBe was 55% (22/40), antiHBe was 45% (18/40) and HBV-DNA was 56% (23/40). Among 11 HCV co-infected subjects, 6 (54.5%) were anti-HCV and HCV RNA positive, while 3 (27.2%) were positive for anti-HCV alone and 2 (18%) were positive for HCV RNA alone. CONCLUsION: since the principal routes for HIV transmission are similar to that followed by the hepatotropic viruses, as a consequence, infections with HBV and HCV are expected in HIV infected patients. Therefore, it would be advisable to screen for these viruses in all the HIV infected individuals and their sexual partners at the earliest.

目前,由肠上皮细胞死亡引发的肠损伤仍然是危险且难以预测的严重疾病之一。肠上皮细胞、免疫系统和微生物组之间相互关联以维持正常肠道稳态和肠屏障的完整性。在微生物入侵时,肠上皮细胞进入死亡程序以维持肠上皮功能,并且保持其持续更新能力,维护组织稳态。但是脱离稳态的肠上皮细胞死亡会导致肠通透性增加和肠屏障功能障碍,导致多种急性和慢性肠道疾病,例如肠缺血/再灌注、败血症、炎症性肠病(inflammatory bowel diseases, IBD),坏死性小肠结肠炎(necrotizing enterocolitis, NEC)等。在病理生理状态下,过量的肠上皮细胞凋亡性死亡导致慢性炎症状态,而后转向坏死性凋亡细胞死亡机制,其诱导的病理特征比细胞凋亡的情况下更多,此外还可能诱导其它溶细胞性死亡机制,例如细胞焦亡和铁凋亡,从而增加肠道疾病的病理指征。但是,目前关于慢性肠道疾病中肠上皮细胞死亡机制的研究仍然存在空白。目前亟需对慢性肠道疾病(包括败血症,IBD,NEC和肠缺血/再灌注)中特定的细胞死亡机制进行深入了解,以开发针对此类疾病的新型的有效治疗策略。本文旨在综述肠上皮细胞不同死亡机制(例如细胞凋亡,细胞坏死,坏死性凋亡,细胞焦亡和铁凋亡)在急、慢性肠道疾病中的研究进展。

Objective:To determine how biochanin-A(BCA)affects high-fat diet and streptozotocin-induced pathological changes in lipid metabolism and antioxidant status in diabetic ***:Diabetic rats were orally administered BCA(10 mg/kg body weight)for 30 days to investigate its effects on lipid profiles and oxidative stress markers in the liver and *** addition,the mRNA expression of antioxidant and lipid metabolism enzymes in the liver was ***:BCA attenuated hyperlipidemia by regulating mRNA expressions of HMG-CoA reductase,fatty acid synthase,carnitine palmitoyl transferase,and acetyl-CoA ***,BCA reduced high-fat diet and streptozotocin-induced oxidative stress by suppressing lipid peroxidation,improving superoxide dismutase,catalase,and glutathione peroxidase levels,and upregulating mRNA expressions of these ***:BCA may be a promising nutraceutical for the treatment of dyslipidemia and oxidative stress associated with diabetes.
