A nonlinear ultrasonic technique has been developed to evaluate sensitization in Type 304 stainless steel. In order to achieve diferent degree of sensitization（DOs）, specimens have been subjected to heat treatment at 675℃ at varying soaking time（0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 h）. Heat treated specimens were subjected to intergranular corrosion tests as per AsTM standards A262 and G108. sensitization in longer soaked material has been confirmed through ditch microstructures, cracks on the bend tested specimens and higher degree of sensitization. Nonlinear ultrasonic studies showed variation in the nonlinearity parameter with soaking time which also confirms sensitization. A good correlation was observed between the degree of sensitization measured by the electrochemical potentiokinetic reactivation test and the ultrasonic nonlinearity *** study clearly demonstrated that nonlinear ultrasonic technique can be used as a potential technique for non-destructive characterization of sensitization in austenitic stainless steel.

The severity of alcoholic hepatitis(AH) which may coexist with cirrhosis varies greatly, from asymptomatic forms which are detected in alcoholic patients without any sign of liver disease, except laboratory abnormalities, to severe forms characterised by deep jaundice, ascites, hepatic encephalopathy and low prothrombin index. In hospitalized patients the mortality could be as high as 75%. The elevated number of therapeutic proposals reported for more than forty years reveals the lack of efficacy of a particular modality. Even in the most favorable trials, the survival is already very poor and in some cases related to the development of renal failure or hepatorenal syndrome. There are some motivating reports concerning albumin dialysis as a support treatment in patients with severe AH, either alone or in combination with other pharmacological therapies. The favorable effects of albumin dialysis in patients with severe AH suggest that the procedure used alone or in combination with other therapies may have a role in this clinical condition. This will be particularly relevant to offer an alternative therapy in these patients, thus being a potential bridge to recovery or to be listed for liver transplantation.

The internet is a major source for health information. An increasing number of people, including patients with insomnia, search for remedies online; however, little is.k.own about the quality of such information. This study aimed to evaluate the quality and readability of insomnia-related online information. Google was used as the search engine, and the top websites on insomnia that met the inclusion criteria were evaluated for quality and readability. The analyzed websites belonged to nonprofit, commercial, or academic organizations and institutions such as hospitals and universities. Insomnia-related websites typically included definitions （85%）, causes and risk factors （100%）, symptoms （95%）, and treatment options （90%）. Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia （CBT-I） was the most commonly recommended approach for insomnia treatment, and sleep drugs are frequently mentioned. The overall quality of the websites on insomnia is moderate, but all the content exceeded the recommended reading ease levels. Concerns that must be addressed to increase the quality and trustworthiness of online health information include sharing metadata, such as authorship, time of creation and last update, and conflicts of interest; providing evidence for reliability; and increasing the readability for a layman audience.

Aim:Facial fractures have multiple etiologies,including motor vehicle collisions,interpersonal violence,falls,and sports-related *** objectives of this study are to reassess,compare,and expand the epidemiologic analysis and postoperative complication rates of facial fracture ***,we sought to compare the length of stay and operative time outcomes between plastic surgeons and non-plastic ***:NsQIP(National surgical Quality Improvement Program)participant databases were queried to identify all patients undergoing facial fracture *** data was divided into two groups and compared by surgeon specialty:patients operated on by a plastic surgeon and patients operated on by a non-plastic *** primary outcomes of interest were operation time and length of *** complications included wound complications,mortality,return to the OR,and major ***:3,354 patients underwent facial fracture repair(2012 to 2016).In men,the most common fracture was mandibular(40.9%);in women,the most frequent was orbital(32.4%).79.6%had single facial fractures and 20.4%had multiple facial *** surgeons’operating time was less than that of non-plastic surgeons(P=0.0007).The average length of stay was higher for the plastic group(mean=1.65 days,plastic)(Pstoperative complication variables showed no statistically significant differences between the plastic and nonplastic ***:Continuous epidemiologic analysis is vital for the proper allocation of healthcare resources to the most affected facial fracture patients in the *** of complication rates between surgical specialties allows a better understanding of the management of facial fracture patients on a national *** data analysis may allow surgeons to better counsel patients preoperatively and improve inter-specialty collaboration.

super 304 H austenitic stainless steel with 3% of copper posses excellent creep strength and corrosion resistance, which is mainly used in heat exchanger tubing of the boiler. Heat exchangers are used in nuclear power plants and marine vehicles which are intended to operate in chloride rich offshore environment. Chloride stress corrosion cracking is the most likely life limiting failure with austenitic stainless steel tubing. Welding may worsen the stress corrosion cracking susceptibility of the material. stress corrosion cracking susceptibility of super 304 H parent metal and gas tungsten arc(GTA) welded joints were studied by constant load tests in 45% boiling Mg Cl2 solution. stress corrosion cracking resistance of super 304 H stainless steel was deteriorated by GTA welding due to the formation of susceptible microstructure in the HAZ of the weld joint and the residual stresses. The mechanism of cracking was found to be anodic path cracking, with transgranular nature of crack propagation. Linear relationships were derived to predict the time to failure by extrapolating the rate of steady state elongation.
