Valleytronic materials can provide new degrees of freedom to future electronic *** this work,the concepts of the ferrovalley metal(FVM)and valley gapless semiconductor(VGs)are proposed,which can be achieved in valleytronic bilayer systems by electric field *** valleytronic bilayer systems,the interaction between out-of-plane ferroelectricity and A-type antiferromagnetism can induce layer-polarized anomalous valley Hall(LP-AVH)*** K and−K valleys of FVM are both metallic,and electron and hole carriers simultaneously *** the extreme case,the FVM can become VGs by analogizing spin gapless semiconductor(sGs).Moreover,it is proposed that the valley splitting enhancement and valley polarization reversal can be achieved by electric field engineering in valleytronic bilayer *** the bilayer RuBr_(2)as an example,our proposal is confirmed by the first-principle *** FVM and VGs can be achieved in bilayer RuBr_(2)by applying electric *** appropriate electric field range,increasing electric field can enhance valley splitting,and the valley polarization can be reversed by flipping electric field *** effectively tune valley properties by electric field in bilayer systems,the parent monolayer should possess out-of-plane magnetization,and have large valley *** results shed light on the possible role of electric field in tuning valleytronic bilayer systems,and provide a way to design the ferrovalley-related material by electric field.

In this paper, the dust particle surface potential for argon-helium plasma is evaluated analytically and numerically in the context of negatively charged dust particles by employing a power-law(r, q)-distribution function. Recent studies have reported the argon-helium plasma and conducted a brief theoretical and experimental survey. To deepen our understanding further, this study aims to analyze the argon-helium plasma comprehensively using the same pattern but with the(r, q)-distribution function. For this purpose, the current balance equations are derived for electron, helium and argon ions, when these charge species attain the quasineutrality *** numerically examined the currents of plasma species for a broad range of effective distribution function parameters r and q. It is revealed that the surface potential of dust particles is significantly affected by the parameters r and q, helium ion-to-electron temperature ratio,argon ion-to-electron temperature ratio, and helium ion to argon ion number density ratio. By incorporating the multi-ion(argon-helium) species, the significance of low-temperature nonMaxwellian dusty(complex) plasma is briefly examined.

We revisit the problem of adsorption of a single4He layer on graphene, focusing on the commensurate(C1/3) crystalline phase, specifically on whether it may possess a nonzero superfluid response, and on the existence of superfluid phases, either（metastable） liquid or vacancy-doped crystalline. We make use of canonical quantum Monte Carlo simulations at zero and finite temperature, based on a realistic microscopic model of the system. Our results confirm the absence of any superfluid response in the commensurate crystal, and that no thermodynamically stable uniform phase exists at lower coverage. no evidence of a possibly long-lived, metastable superfluid phase at C1/3coverage is found. Altogether, the results of ground-state projection methods and finite-temperature simulations are entirely consistent.

switched reluctance motors(sRMs)are becoming increasingly popular in the automotive sector owing to their robust ***,sRMs are preferred particularly for EV applications owing to their fault tolerance,magnet-free structure,and high power/torque *** main concerns of sRM compared to other machines include torque ripple and *** primary cause of vibration is the radial force created by the sRM.A geometry-based modification of the sRM to reduce the radial force without significantly changing the average torque produced is *** primary goal is to design a 4-phase,8/6 sRM with a lower radial *** possible geometrical alterations are proposed:one with square windows and the other with circular holes on the rotor *** windows are sized and positioned to avoid flux *** criteria are developed for the optimal window size and *** element analysis(FEA)modelling of the sRM is used to validate its *** FEA results are compared with the performance parameters obtained using the analytical *** the multiphysics design tool AnsYs to obtain the natural frequencies and associated deformations through modal *** to the conventional geometry,the radial force is significantly reduced by providing windows.
