Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL)and follicular lymphoma(FL)are the most common forms of aggressive and indolent lymphoma,*** majority of patients are cured by standard R-CHOP immunochemotherapy,but 30%–40%of DLBCL and 20%of FL patients relapse or are refractory(R/R).DLBCL and FL are phenotypically and genetically hereterogenous B-cell *** date,the diagnosis of DLBCL and FL has been based on morphology,immunophenotyping and ***,next-generation sequencing(NGS)is widening our understanding of the genetic basis of the B-cell *** this review we will discuss how integrating the NGS-based characterization of somatic gene mutations with diagnostic or prognostic value in DLBCL and FL could help refine B-cell lymphoma classification as part of a multidisciplinary pathology *** will also discuss how molecular testing can identify candidates for clinical trials with targeted therapies and help predict therapeutic outcome to currently available treatments,including chimeric antigen receptor T-cell,as well as explore the application of circulating cell-free DNA,a non-invasive method for patient *** conclude that molecular analyses can drive improvements in patient outcomes due to an increased understanding of the different pathogenic pathways affected by each DLBCL subtype and indolent FL vs R/R FL.

The present study investigated the incorporation of sugarcane bagasse ash(SCBA)in red ceramics,sintered in conventional oven and microwave oven,aiming to provide an alternative product,and a sintering process with higher energy efficiency in the production of red *** raw materials were characterized by XRF,XRD,thermogravimetry,particle size distribution and specific mass *** specimens were shaped by extrusion in two different compositions,red clay and red clay with addition of 20%SCBA and sintered at temperatures from 700 to 1100℃.The conventional sintering occurred for 60 min with heating rate of 10℃/*** the microwave oven the sintering occurred in a hybrid way,with heating rate of 50℃/min for 5,10 and 15 *** sintering the tests of linear shrinkage,compressive strength,water absorption,apparent porosity and apparent specific mass were *** addition of SCBA causes an increase in the values of water absorption and decreases the compressive strength and specific mass of the red *** occurs due to the creation of pores inside the material from the volatilization of organic matter present in the *** sintering in microwave oven,when compared to conventional sintering,promotes an increase in the values of compressive strength and specific mass and reduction of water absorption values of ceramics,probably due to the refinement of the microstructure and the higher *** the incorporation of ashes can be partially compensated by a more efficient *** use of SCBA and the sintering in microwave oven,showed to be viable alternatives in the development of a more sustainable and light material,promoting the management of waste,reduction in the consumption of raw materials and energy saving.

Viral load measurements are an essential tool for the long-term clinical care of hum an immunodeficiency virus(HIV)-positive individuals. The gol d standards in viral load instrumentation, however, are still too limited by their size, cost, and sophisticated operation for these measurements to be ubiquitous in remote settings with poor healthcare infrastructure, including parts of the world that are disproportionately affected by HIV infection. The challenge of developing a point-of-care platform capable of making viral load more accessible has been frequently approached but no solution has yet emerged that meets the practical requirements of low cost, portability, and ease-of-use. In this paper, we perform reverse-transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification(RT-LAMP) on minimally processed HIV-spiked whole blood samples with a microfluidic and silicon microchip platform, and perform fluorescence measurements with a consumer smartphone. Our integrated assay shows amplification from as few as three viruses in a ~ 60 nL RTLAMP droplet, corresponding to a whole blood concentration of 670 viruses per μL of whole blood. The technology contains greater power in a digital RT-LAMP approach that could be scaled up for the determination of viral load from a flnger prick of blood in the clinical care of HIV-positive individuals. We demonstrate that all aspects of this viral load approach, from a drop of blood to imaging the RT-LAMP reaction, are compatible with lab-on-a-chip components and mobile instrumentation.

The Burden of Hospitalisations for Herpes Zoster Ophtalmicus in Spain (1997-2008)

Purpose: This epidemiological retrospective survey aims to provide population-based estimates of the burden of hospitalisation for herpes zoster ophthalmicus in Spain during a twelve-year period (1997-2008). Methods: All hospital discharges and deaths related to herpes zoster ophthalmicus in patients older than 30 years old from 1997 to 2008 in Spain were obtained. Differences in proportions were assessed by the Chi-square test. ANOVA was used for multiple comparisons. Poisson regression was used to assess differences in the rates. Results: A total of 3029 hospital discharges in patients older than 30 years old were coded as herpes zoster ophthalmicus. Of those, 1009 were coded as primary cause of hospitalization. This corresponds to a hospitalization rate of 0.94 and 0.31 hospitalizations per 100,000 for any position and first diagnostic position, respectively. The 75% of the total discharges were in immunocompetent patients. The herpes zoster ophthalmicus hospitalization rate increased significantly during the study period. This increase was also observed for immunocompetent patients. A total of 127 and 21 deaths occurred in patients ≥ 30 year-old hospitalized with herpes zoster ophthalmicus in any diagnostic position and principal diagnostic code, respectively during the 12-year study period. Of them, 70 (53.4%) were in immunocompetent patients, and, of those 11 were in patients with HZO in the first diagnosis position. The hospitalization rate and case-fatality rate increase significantly with age from 50 years old onwards. Conclusion: HZO, a vaccine preventable disease, still causes hospitalization and death in adults in Spain.

背景:本研究旨在分析克罗恩病患者回结肠切除术后近期并发症的发生率及危险因素。方法:对PRACTICROHN研究队列进行回顾性分析,纳入2007年1月至2010年12月间行回结肠切除一期吻合的成人克罗恩病患者。术后近期并发症定义为术后30天内出现的并发症,包括死亡、肠梗阻、吻合口漏、消化道出血、腹腔脓肿、切口感染、导管相关感染及其他腹腔外感染。结果:364例患者纳入分析,手术时患者的中位年龄38岁,男性占50%。手术适应证:狭窄型占46.4%,穿透型占31.3%,狭窄+穿透型占14.0%,药物难治性占5.8%。100例(27.5%)出现术后近期并发症,其中切口感染、腹腔脓肿和吻合口漏最为常见。出现并发症的患者其中位住院时间较未出现并发症者显著延长(16 vs 9天,P<0.001)。术后并发症更多发生于穿透型病变(36/114,31.6%)和药物难治性(9/21,42.9%)患者,而狭窄型(45/169,26.6%)和狭窄+穿透型(6/51,11.8%)患者并发症发生率相对较低(P=0.040)。术中才作出诊断的患者,术后并发症发生率较术前已明确诊断者显著升高[48.4%(15/31)vs.25.7%(85/331),P=0.013)。手术期间接受药物治疗并不会影响并发症发生率。结论:约四分之一的克罗恩病患者行回结肠切除术后会出现近期并发症,其中穿透型病变和急诊手术患者术后并发症风险增高。

Transformation on CdCO3？CdO Thin Films under Annealing in Air Atmosphere

CdCO3 thin films had grown onto glass by chemical bath deposition (CBD), the temperature of the bath (Td) was at 20 °C. The samples were thermal annealed temperature (TAT) in air atmosphere at normal pressure for 2 h at different temperatures in the range of 300-400 °C, in order to perform the crystalline phase transformation from CdCO3→CdO, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and optical absorption (OA) measurements were carried out to characterized the films. The proportion of constitutive elements measured by means SEM for CdCO3 as-grown were: Cd = 12.8, C = 20.0, O = 67.2; TAT (CdCO3) = 400 °C: Cd = 49.8, O = 50.2, this results indicates good stoichiometric of samples. Patterns XRD show the layer with CdCO3 which has rhombohedral crystallineas-grown peaks at: 2θ = [23.4, 30.2, 36.4, 40.1, 43.8, 48.0, 49.5, 49.9, 58.2, 61.7, 62.9 and 65.5]. TAT (CdCO3) = 400 °C completely disappeared and only peaks of CdO are identified. All of the peaks in this pattern has pure cubic phase of CdO (2θ= [33.1, 38.2, 55.3, 59.9 and 69.3]). The average grain size (GS) which was calculated from the main XRD peak by CdCO3 reduce of 34.5 nm reaching 20 nm respectively was calculated by employing Scherer"s formula. The optical absorption spectra allowed to calculate the values of forbidden bandgap energy (Eg), and hence, the evolution of Eg in the thermally spectra also showed the complete microstructural transformation from as-grown for samples with higher annealing. The critical point of CdCO3→CdO is proposed to occur at TAT = 400 °C, CdCO3 as-grown: Eg = 3.87 eV, TAT (CdCO3) = 400 °C (CdO): Eg = 2.31 eV.
