Objective:To explore the larvicidal and pupicidal activity of Euphorbia hirta（***） leaf extract and Bacillus sphaericus（***） against the malarial *** siephensi（An. stephensi）.Methods:The larvicidal and pupicidal activity was assayed against *** at various concentrations ranging from（75-375 ppm） under the laboratory as well as field conditions. The LC50 and LC90 value of the *** leaf extract was determined by probit ***: The plant extract showed larvicidal effects after 24 h of exposure;however,the highest larval mortality was found in the methanol extract of *** against the first to fourth instars larvae and pupae of values LC50=137.40,172.65,217.81,269.37 and 332.39 ppm;*** against the first to fourth instars larvae and pupae of values LC50= 44.29,55.83,68.51,82.19 and 95.55 ppm, ***,combined treatment of values of LC50= 79.13,80.42,86.01,93.00 and 98.12 ppm,*** mortality was observed in the ***:These results suggest methanol leaf extracts of *** and *** have potential to be used as an ideal ecofriendly approach for the control of the malarial *** as target species of vector control *** study provides the first report on the combined mosquito larvicidal and pupicidal activity of this plant crude extract and bacterial toxin against *** mosquitoes.

Electric vehicles (EVs) are the most interesting and innovative technology in the 21st century because of theirenormous advantages, both technically and economically. Their emissions rate compared to fuel-based vehicles isnegligible as they do not consume fuel and hence do not emit any harmful gases. However, their bulk production,adoption and lack of charging stations increase the stress of power stations due to modern-day lifestyles. If Electricvehicles demand increases drastically then conventional power stations will not bear their demand and if theygenerate electricity by conventional means it will be very costly and may further add greenhouse gases. Therefore,this research provides the techno-economic assessment of a stand-alone renewable-dependent electric vehiclecharging station, excluding any burden on electrical utility. The proposed study is carried out in Bahria Town,Karachi, a city in pakistan. In this study, HOMER pro software was utilized for techno-economic assessment. Ahybrid system comprising solar photovoltaic/Wind Turbine/Fuel cells and battery storage is included in the *** and wind resources were taken from NASA’s website, where charging stations will be integrated. The overallresults show promising in terms of total Net present Cost and the Cost of Energy which are 2.72M $ and 0.237 $,respectively. The total system generation is 3,598 Megawatt hours per year, and the total energy consumption is 885Megawatt hours per year.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)and type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)are two disease conditions for which obesity is a risk factor.^(1)Due to the close relationship between the three pathologies,researchers frequently use the same mouse models to identify the underlying processes of obesity,NAFLD,and *** instance,leptin(Lep)-null(ob/ob)and leptin receptor(Lepr)-deficient(db/db)mice spontaneously develop NAFLD and show different phenotypes of extreme obesity and diabetes,respectively.

Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH),an advanced form of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD),has emerged as the leading cause of liver failure and related ***,no medication is specifically approved to treat NAFLD or *** we report that oral administration of honey vesiclelike nanoparticles(H-VLNs)to naturally aged mice protects the liver from NASH development.H-VLNs are dominantly taken up by Kupffer cells in the liver and suppress hepatic chronic inflammation and further development of fibrosis and nodule formation in aged *** their reported antiinflammasome function,H-VLNs are found to inhibit the transcriptional activities of C-JUN and nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB).MicroRNAs miR5119 and miR5108 and phenolic compound luteolin in H-VLNs are identified in suppressing both the C-JUN and NF-kB ***,oral intake of H-VLNs represents a promising new user-friendly modality to prevent the development of NASH.

The excitation function of the 58Ni(n,p)58Co reaction was measured using the well-established neutron activation technique andγ-ray *** in the energy range of 1.7 to 2.7 MeV were generated using the 7Li(p,n)*** neutron flux was measured using the standard 115In(n,n’)115mIn monitor *** results of the neutron spectrum averaged cross-section of 58Ni(n,p)58Co reactions were compared with existing cross-section data available in the EXFOR data library as well as with various evaluated data libraries such as ENDF/B-VIII.0,JEFF-3.3,JENDL-4.0,and *** calculations were performed using the nuclear reaction code *** nuclear level density(NLD)models were tested,and their results were compared with the present *** NLDs were also obtained through the spectral distribution method(SDM).The cross-section results,along with the absolute errors,were obtained by investigating the uncertainty propagation and using the covariance *** forγ-ray true coincidence summing,low-energy background neutrons,andγ-ray self attenuation were *** experimental cross-section obtained in the present study is consistent with previously published experimental data,evaluated libraries,and theoretical calculations carried out using the TALYS code.

Greenhouse technology is a practical option for the production and drying of agricultural products in controlled environment. For the successful design of a greenhouse, the selection of a suitable shape and orientation is of great importance. Of various shapes of greenhouses, the even-span roof and the Quonset shape greenhouses are the most commonly used for crop cultivation and drying. The orientation of greenhouses is kept east-west for maximum utilization of solar radiations. Hybrid and modified greenhouse dryers have been proposed for drying of products. The agricultural products dried in greenhouses are found to be better in quality as compared to open sun drying because they are protected from dust, rain, insects, birds and animals. Moreover, various greenhouses shapes along with their applications have been reviewed.
