Objective:To explore the larvicidal and pupicidal activity of Euphorbia hirta（***） leaf extract and Bacillus sphaericus（***） against the malarial *** siephensi（An. stephensi）.Methods:The larvicidal and pupicidal activity was assayed against *** at various concentrations ranging from（75-375 ppm） under the laboratory as well as field conditions. The LC50 and LC90 value of the *** leaf extract was determined by probit ***: The plant extract showed larvicidal effects after 24 h of exposure;however,the highest larval mortality was found in the methanol extract of *** against the first to fourth instars larvae and pupae of values LC50=137.40,172.65,217.81,269.37 and 332.39 ppm;*** against the first to fourth instars larvae and pupae of values LC50= 44.29,55.83,68.51,82.19 and 95.55 ppm, ***,combined treatment of values of LC50= 79.13,80.42,86.01,93.00 and 98.12 ppm,*** mortality was observed in the ***:These results suggest methanol leaf extracts of *** and *** have potential to be used as an ideal ecofriendly approach for the control of the malarial *** as target species of vector control *** study provides the first report on the combined mosquito larvicidal and pupicidal activity of this plant crude extract and bacterial toxin against *** mosquitoes.

Greenhouse technology is a practical option for the production and drying of agricultural products in controlled environment. For the successful design of a greenhouse, the selection of a suitable shape and orientation is of great importance. Of various shapes of greenhouses, the even-span roof and the Quonset shape greenhouses are the most commonly used for crop cultivation and drying. The orientation of greenhouses is kept east-west for maximum utilization of solar radiations. Hybrid and modified greenhouse dryers have been proposed for drying of products. The agricultural products dried in greenhouses are found to be better in quality as compared to open sun drying because they are protected from dust, rain, insects, birds and animals. Moreover, various greenhouses shapes along with their applications have been reviewed.

Electric vehicles (EVs) are the most interesting and innovative technology in the 21st century because of theirenormous advantages, both technically and economically. Their emissions rate compared to fuel-based vehicles isnegligible as they do not consume fuel and hence do not emit any harmful gases. However, their bulk production,adoption and lack of charging stations increase the stress of power stations due to modern-day lifestyles. If Electricvehicles demand increases drastically then conventional power stations will not bear their demand and if theygenerate electricity by conventional means it will be very costly and may further add greenhouse gases. Therefore,this research provides the techno-economic assessment of a stand-alone renewable-dependent electric vehiclecharging station, excluding any burden on electrical utility. The proposed study is carried out in Bahria Town,Karachi, a city in pakistan. In this study, HOMER pro software was utilized for techno-economic assessment. Ahybrid system comprising solar photovoltaic/Wind Turbine/Fuel cells and battery storage is included in the *** and wind resources were taken from NASA’s website, where charging stations will be integrated. The overallresults show promising in terms of total Net present Cost and the Cost of Energy which are 2.72M $ and 0.237 $,respectively. The total system generation is 3,598 Megawatt hours per year, and the total energy consumption is 885Megawatt hours per year.

pM2.5 and pM2.5 lo concentrations, elemental constituents, and sources in a densely populated coastal industrial area （Trombay, Mumbai） were investigated in 2010 and *** pM2.s and pM2.s lo concentra- tions were 13.50-71.60 and 22.40-127.78 p^g/m3, respectively. The daily pM25 concentrations exceeded the Indian Central pollution Control Board limit （60 μg/m3） several days in winter. Of the elements analyzed, Si then Al had the highest concentrations in pM2.5- 10, but black carbon then Si had the highest concentrations in pM2.s. The element concentrations varied widely by season. Al, Ca, Fe, Si, and Ti con- centrations were highest in summer, Cl, Mg, and Na concentrations were highest in the monsoon season, and the other trace metal concentrations in both pM2.5 and pM2.5-10 were highest in winter. The pM2.5 and pM2.5-10 sources were apportioned by positive matrix factorization. pM2.5 and pM2.5-10 had six dominant sources, crustal material （8.7% and 25.3%, respectively）, sea salt spray （6.1% and 15.0%, respectively）, coal/biomass combustion （25.5% and 13.8%, respectively）, fuel oil combustion （19.0% and 11.2%, respectively）, road traffic （ 17.7% and 12.6%, respectively）, and the metal industry （ 10.6% and 7.0%, respectively）. Anthropogenic sources clearly contributed most to pM2.5 but natural sources contributed most to pM2.5-10.
