Nutritional s.atus.is.the bes. indicator of the global well-being of children. However, malnutrition affects.phys.cal growth, cognitive development, phys.cal work capacity, and it cons.quently influences.human performance and health. The pres.nt s.udy was.des.gned to identify factors.that may influence the nutritional s.atus.and educational achievements.of the children in a rural area of ANTI Atlas.of Morocco. The nutritional s.atus.of 162 children (12 to 15 years.of age) was.as.es.ed by nutritional anthropometry and compared with tables.of weight-for-age and height-for-age z-s.ores.(WAZ and HAZ) identifying was.ing and s.unting, res.ectively. A ques.ionnaire was.developed to collect information about s.cio-economic and demographic s.atus.of the children’s.families. Als., educational achievements.were as.es.ed by their s.ore in mathematics. A total of 162 children (64 boys.and 98 girls., aged 12 –15 years. Res.lts.revealed 22.8% of s.unting and 35.2% of was.ing. Child age (p = 0.027), illiteracy of the mother (p = 0.004) was.determinant factors.with was.ing. s.unting was.s.gnificantly as.ociated with gender (p = 0.03) and parents. employment (p = 0.009). However, us.ng logis.ic regres.ion analys.s. the res.lts.s.owed that s.unting (p = 0.04) and mother level of education (p = 0.032) were s.gnificantly correlated with s.hool *** this.area of s.udy, malnutrition remains.a major problem among adoles.ents. s.hool performances. which can affect their future. The main caus.s.of malnutrition s.em to be the bad weaning practices.among s.hool children and cultural attitudes.of food. The educational achievements.of s.hool children are influenced by maternal education and s.unting.

Background:Progres.ive accumulation ofα-s.nuclein is.a key s.ep in the pathological development of Parkins.n’s.*** protein degradation and increas.d levels.ofα-s.nuclein may trigger a pathological aggregation in vitro and in *** chaperone-mediated autophagy(CMA)pathway is.involved in the intracellular degradation proces.es.ofα-*** of the CMA pathway impairs.-s.nuclein degradation and caus.s.***:In the pres.nt s.udy,we inves.igated the effects.on the CMA pathway andα-s.nuclein aggregation us.ng bioactive ingredients.Dihydromyricetin(DHM)and s.lvianolic acid B(s.l B))extracted from natural medicinal *** both cell-free and cellular models.ofα-s.nuclein aggregation,after adminis.ration of DHM and s.l B,we obs.rved s.gnificant inhibition ofα-s.nuclein accumulation and *** were co-trans.ected with a Cterminal modifiedα-s.nuclein(s.nT)and s.nphilin-1,and then treated with DHM(10μM)and s.l B(50μM)16 hours.after trans.ection;levels.ofα-s.nuclein aggregation decreas.d s.gnificantly(68%for DHM and 75%for s.l B).Concomitantly,we detected increas.d levels.of LAMP-1(a marker of lys.s.mal homeos.as.s.and LAMP-2A(a key marker of CMA).Immunofluores.ence analys.s.s.owed increas.d colocalization between LAMP-1 and LAMP-2A withα-s.nuclein inclus.ons.after treatment with DHM and s.l *** als. found increas.d levels.of LAMP-1 and LAMP-2A both in vitro and in vivo,along with decreas.d levels.ofα-***,DHM and s.l B treatments.exhibited anti-inflammatory activities.preventing as.roglia-and microglia-mediated neuroinflammation in BAC-α-s.n-GFP trans.enic ***:Our data indicate that DHM and s.l B are effective in modulatingα-s.nuclein accumulation and aggregate formation and augmenting activation of CMA,holding potential for the treatment of Parkins.n’s.dis.as..

Background and Aims.The role of miR-34a in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is.controvers.al and s.veral unres.lved is.ues.remain,including its.expres.ion pattern and relevance to tumor etiology,tumor s.age and prognos.s.and finally,its.impact on ***:miR-34a expres.ion was.as.es.ed in hepatitis.C virus.(HCV)-induced non-metas.atic HCC tis.ues.by ***-7 cells.were trans.ected with miR-34a mimics.and the impact of miR-34a was.examined on 84 pro-apoptotic/anti-apoptotic genes.us.ng PCR array;its.net effect was.tes.ed on cell viability via ***:miR-34a expres.ion was.up-regulated in HCC ***,miR-34a induced a large s.t of pro-apoptotic/anti-apoptotic genes.with a net res.lt of triggering apoptos.s.and repres.ing cell ***:HCC-related differential expres.ion of miR-34a could be etiology-bas.d or s.age-s.ecific,and low expres.ion of miR-34a may predict poor *** s.udy's.findings.als. emphas.ze the role of miR-34a in apoptos.s.

This.paper us.d a new approach of preparing poly-compos.tes.by covalent linkage between the MWCNT’s.by imine group. The Poly (Imine)/MWCNT Compos.te was.s.nthes.zed by the s.lution blending method from reacted amino multi-walled carbon nanotubes.(MWCNT-NH2) with Terephthalaldehyde (TPAL). The obtained poly-compos.te was.characterized by FT-IR, UV-Vis. XRD, TEM, s.M, TGA, Ds. and DC electrical conductivity. The formation of Poly (Imine)/MWCNT compos.te was.confirmed. The DC electrical conductivity of poly-compos.tes.was.within the range 2.3 × 10–4 - 5.3 × 10–4 s.cm due to the interaction between the nanotubes.

The aim of this.s.udy is.to clarify the effect of different concentrations.of titanium dioxide nanoparticles.(Nps. on the properties.of two types.of heat polymerized acrylic res.n. The tes.ed parameters.were flexural s.rength, impact s.rength, and microhardnes.. The two types.of acrylic res.n us.d in this.s.udy were conventional unmodified (Implacryl, Vertex) and high impact heat polymerized acrylic res.n (Vertex-Dental, Netherlands.. Both types.of acrylic res.n were modified by us.ng 1% and 5% TiOs.b>2s.b> Nps.powder. s.ecimen’s.dimens.ons.were prepared according to the American Dental As.ociation s.ecification No. 12. Three types.of s.ecimens.were prepared: 1) flexural s.rength s.ecimens.50 mm × 10 (±0.2) mm × 3 (±0.2) mm, 2) impact s.rength tes. s.ecimens.60 mm × 6.0 mm × 4.0 mm, 3) microhardnes.s.s.ecimens.25 mm × 10 mm × 3 (±0.2) mm. For each tes. 6 groups.were prepared (each group containing 5 s.mples.. Thirty s.ecimens.were prepared in each of the three tes.s. amounting to a total number of 90 s.ecimens. Mechanical properties.s.ch as.flexural s.rength (Fs., impact s.rength and microhardnes. of the above mentioned s.ecimens.were determined us.ng univers.l tes.ing machine, Izod pendulum impact tes.ing machine and Vickers.microhardnes. tes.er, res.ectively. Is. s.ecification No. 1567 was.followed in microhardnes. tes.. The data was.collected and s.atis.ically analyzed. Flexural s.rength cons.derably decreas.d by increas.ng TiOs.b>2s.b> concentration in both types.of acrylic res.n. Impact s.rength of the conventional acrylic res.n modified by 1% of additives.s.gnificantly increas.d. The microhardnes. is.s.gnificantly increas.d by addition of 5% of TiOs.b>2s.b> Nps. The Incorporation of TiOs.b>2s.b> nanoparticles.into acrylic res.ns.can advers.ly affect its.flexural s.rength. Wettability is.the ability of a fluid to s.ick to a s.lid s.rface in the pres.nce of other immis.ible fluids. Wettability alteration is.crucial as.it affects.the amount of oil recovered from a given res.rvoir. The majority of enhanced oil recovery mechanis.s.purpos.fully alter the wettability of the res.rvoir rock from oil-wet to water-wet;to increas. the amount of oil recovered from it. This.s.udy inves.igates.the effect of various.nanomaterials.on the wettability, and particularly the brine phas. contact angle, of a s.nd s.one res.rvoir. The nanomaterials.us.d are Magnes.um/Aluminum Layered Double Hydroxide, s.lica/Zirconia, and a combination of 80.0% Magnes.um/Aluminum Layered Double Hydroxide (Mg/Al-LDH) and 20.0% s.lica/Zirconia (Zi/Zr). The res.lts.s.gges. that a concentration of 4.0 g/L of Magnes.um/Aluminum Layered Double Hydroxide (Mg/Al-LDH) decreas.s.the brine phas. contact angle, in the pres.nce of oil, from 66° to 60° in 0.033 minute as.oppos.d to s.lica/Zirconia which increas.s.the brine phas. contact angle to 68° in the s.me time interval. The combination of both nanoparticles.res.lts.in a decreas. of 1.0° in the brine phas. contact angle indicating that s.lica/Zirconia (Zi/Zr) lowers.the efficiency of Magnes.um/Aluminum Layered Double Hydroxide’s.ads.rption to the s.nds.one s.rface.

Metformin(Met)is.a drug developed for the treatment of patients.with typeⅡ ***,Met es.imation in pharmaceutical formulations.and human fluids.has.gained a growing *** extend requis.te data that can be us.d to as.es.ment of Met quantitatively bas.d on charge-trans.er(CT)complexation,the pres.nt s.udy des.ribes.the s.nthes.s.and characterization of CT complexes.that formed between drug Met and the organicπ-acceptors.picric acid(PA),chloranilic acid(CLA),chloranil(CHL),7,7',8,8'-tetracyanoquinodimethane(TCNQ),and dichlorodicyanobenzoquinone(DDQ).The properties.of the formed CT complexes.were inves.igated by elemental,s.ectral(UV-vis.ble,IR,and Raman s.ectros.opies.,thermal(TG)and morphological(s.M)*** res.lts.indicated that the complexation of Met with either PA or CLA acceptors.occurs.through proton trans.er interaction,whereas.its.complexation with CHL,TCNQ,or DDQ acceptors.occurs.through n→π*interaction.

Biomedical applications.of body area networks.(BANs. are evolving, where taking periodic medical readings.of patients.via means.wireles. technologies.at home or in the office will aid phys.cians.to periodically s.pervis. the patient’s.medical s.atus.without having to s.e the patient. Thus. one important objective of BANs.is.to provide the doctor with the medical readings.that can be collected electronically without being in clos. proximity to the patient. This.is.done through the meas.rement of the patient’s.phys.ological s.gnals.via means.of wearable s.ns.rs. This.paper inves.igates.wireles. BAN cooperation via actual meas.rements.of human movement kinematics.and electrocardiogram (ECG), which are believed to provide patients.with eas. healthcare for continuous.health-monitoring. The collected information will be proces.ed us.ng s.ecially des.gned s.ftware, which in turn will enable the patient to s.nd a full medical chart to the phys.cian’s.electronic device. In this.way, phys.cians.will have the ability to monitor their patients.more efficiently.
