Amino acids are essential plant compounds serving as the building blocks of proteins,the predominant forms of nitrogen(N)distribution,and signaling *** amino acids derive from root acquisition,nitrate reduction,and ammonium *** amino acid transporters(AATs)mediating transfer processes of amino acids have been functionally characterized in Arabidopsis,whereas the function and regulation of the vast majority of AATs in rice(Oryza sativa L.)and other crops remain *** this review,we summarize the current understanding of amino acids in the rhizosphere and in *** describe their function as signal molecules and in regulating plant architecture,flowering time,and defense against abiotic stress and pathogen *** not only function in root acquisition and translocation of amino acids from source to sink organs,regulating N uptake and use efficiency,but also as transporters of non-amino acid substrates or as amino acid *** AAT genes show natural variations in their promoter and coding regions that are associated with altered uptake rate of amino acids,grain N content,and tiller *** of an amino acid transfer model in plants will advance the manipulation of AATs for improving rice architecture,grain yield and quality,and N-use efficiency.

BACKGROUND The obesity rate of adolescents is gradually increasing,which seriously affects their mental health,and sleep plays an important role in adolescent *** To investigate the relationship between sleep rhythm and obesity among adolescents and further explores the interactive effect of sleep rhythm and gender on adolescent obesity,providing a theoretical basis for developing interventions for adolescent *** Research data source Tianjin Mental Health Promotion Program for *** April to June 2022,this study selected 14201 students from 13 middle schools in a certain district of Tianjin as the research subject using the convenient cluster sampling *** these students,13374 accepted and completed the survey,with an effective rate of 94.2%.The demographic data and basic information of adolescents,such as height and weight,were collected through a general situation *** sleep rhythm of adolescents was evaluated using the reduced version of the morningness-eveningness *** A total of 13374 participants(6629 females,accounting for 49.56%;the average age is 15.21±1.433 years)were *** them,the survey showed that 2942 adolescent were obesity,accounting for 22%and 2104 adolescent were overweight,accounting for 15.7%.Among them,1692 male adolescents are obese,with an obesity rate of 25.1%,higher than 18.9%of female *** is a statistically significant difference between the three groups(χ2=231.522,P<0.000).The obesity group has the smallest age(14.94±1.442 years),and there is a statistical difference in age among the three groups(F=69.996,P<0.000).Obesity rates are higher among individuals who are not-only-child,have residential experience within six months,have family economic poverty,and have evening-type sleep(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis shows a correlation between sleep rhythm and adolescent ***-type sleep rhythm can increase the risk of obesity in male adoles

Objective:To explore the effect of Hupo powder(HP)on autophagy in menstrual blood-derived stem cells(MenSCs)with endometriosis(EMT).Methods:EMT MenSCs(E-MenSCs)and healthy MenSCs(H-MenSCs)were isolated from the menstrual blood of patients with EMT and healthy female participants,*** identified their stem cells’characteristics via adipogenic and osteogenic *** male SpragueeDawley rats received 0.9% NaCl and HP-dispensing granules by gastric irrigation to prepare blank serum and medicated serum,*** used serum concentrations of 5%,10%,and 20%,each at administered times of 12,24,and 48 h to select the best *** cells were divided into three groups:blank serum of the control group,blank serum of the model group,and medicated serum of the HP group.H-MenSCs were used in the control group,while E-MenSCs were used in the model and HP *** analyzed cell viability using a cell counting kit-8 assay,observed cell morphology,evaluated the amounts of auto-phagosomes and autolysosomes by transmission electron microscopy,and detected the protein expression of autophagy markers(LC3-II and Beclin1)by Western ***:E-MenSCs and H-MenSCs became long fusiform with a diffuse radial pattern,forming lipid droplets and calcium nodules after adipogenic and osteogenic *** then used the best conditiond 20% serum and 48 hdfor the subsequent *** contrast to the model group,the HP group exhibited lower cell viability(=0.007),larger amounts of autophagosomes and autolysosomes(P<0.001 and P=0.001,respectively),and higher expression of LC3-II and Beclin1(P=0.021 and P=0.019,respectively).Conclusion:Hupo powder can promote autophagy in E-MenSCs,which might be one of the mechanisms underlying its therapeutic effects.

Ammonia(NH3)emissions,the most important nitrogen(N)loss form,always induce a series of environmental problems such as increased frequency of regional haze pollution,accelerated N deposition,and N *** mycorrhizal(AM)fungi play key roles in N ***,it is still unclear whether AM fungi can alleviate N losses by reducing *** potential mechanisms by which AM fungi reduce NH_(3)emissions in five land-use types(grazed grassland,mowed grassland,fenced grassland,artificial alfalfa grassland,and cropland)were explored in this *** showed that AM fungal inoculation significantly reduced NH3emissions,and the mycorrhizal responses of NH3emissions were determined by land-use *** equation modeling(SEM)showed that AM fungi and land-use type directly affected NH_(3)*** addition,the reduction in NH_(3)emissions was largely driven by the decline in soil NH_(4)^(+)-N and pH and the increases in abundances of ammonia-oxidizing archaea(AOA)amoA and bacteria(AOB)amoB genes,urease activity,and plant N uptake induced by AM fungal inoculation and land-use *** present results highlight that reducing the negative influence of agricultural intensification caused by land-use type changes on AM fungi should be considered to reduce N losses in agriculture and grassland ecosystems.

Tebuconazole exposure has been described as an increasing hazard to human *** increasing number of recent studies have shown a positive association between tebuconazole exposure and cardiovascular disease risk,which is characterized by the reduction of adenosine triphosphate(ATP)***,researches on the damage of tebuconazole exposure to energy metabolism and the related molecular mechanisms are *** the present study,male C57BL/6 mice were treated with tebuconazole at different low concentrations for 4 *** results indicated that tebuconazole could accumulate in the heart and further induce the decrease of ATP content in the mouse ***,tebuconazole induced an obvious shift in substrate utilization of fatty acid and glucose by disrupting their corresponding transporters(GLUT1,GLUT4,CD36,FABP3 and FATP1)expression,and significantly repressed the expression of mitochondrial biogenesis(Gabpa and Tfam)and oxidative phosphorylation(CS,Ndufa4,Sdhb,Cox5a and Atp5b)related genes in a dosedependent *** investigation revealed that these alterations were related to the IRS1/AKT and PPARγ/RXRα*** findings contribute to a better understanding of triazole fungicide-induced cardiovascular disease by revealing the key indicators associated with this phenomenon.

A simple carbazole hydrozone derivative（l） was synthesized and used as an optical probe for fluoride recognition in CH3CN. Receptor I exhibited colorimetric and fluorescent dual-channel response to fluoride anions. Moisture-enabled electricity(ME)is a method of converting the potential energy of water in the external environment into electrical energy through the interaction of functional materials with water molecules and can be directly applied to energy harvesting and signal ***,ME can be unreliable in numerous applications due to its sluggish response to moisture,thus sacrificing the value of fast energy harvesting and highly accurate information ***,by constructing a moisture-electric-moisture-sensitive(ME-MS)heterostructure,we develop an efficient ME generator with ultra-fast electric response to moisture achieved by triggering Grotthuss protons hopping in the sensitized ZnO,which modulates the heterostructure built-in interfacial potential,enables quick response(0.435 s),an unprecedented ultra-fast response rate of 972.4 mV s^(−1),and a durable electrical signal output for 8 h without any *** research provides an efficient way to generate electricity and important insight for a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of moisture-generated carrier migration in ME generator,which has a more comprehensive working scene and can serve as a typical model for human health monitoring and smart medical electronics design.
