This work is devoted to the experimental determination of the electrostatic properties of the molecular 4-methyl-7-（salicylidene amino） coumarin（C17H13NC3） using high resolution x-ray diffraction data. The experimental results are compared with those obtained theoretically from calculation type ab initio. The experimental investigation is carried out using the molecular electron charge density distribution based on the multipolar model of Hansen and Coppens. However the theoretical calculations are conducted by using the molecular orbital B3 LYP method and the Hartree-Fock（HF） approximation with the basis set 6-31G（d,p） implemented in the Gaussian program. In addition to the structural analysis,the thermal agitation is also analyzed in terms of rigid blocks to ensure a better precision of the results. Subsequently, the electrostatic atomic and molecular properties such as the net charges, the molecular dipolar moment to highlight the nature of charge transfer existing within the molecule studied are derived. Moreover, the obtained electrostatic potential enables the localization of the electropositive and the electronegative parts of the investigated molecule. The present work reports in detail the obtained electrostatic properties of this biologically important molecule.

Purpose – In the process of robot shell design, it is necessary to match the shape of the input 3D originalcharacter mesh model and robot endoskeleton, in order to make the input model fit for robot and avoidcollision. So, the purpose of this paper is to find an object of reference, which can be used for the process ofshape ***/methodology/approach – In this work, the authors propose an interior bounded box (IBB)approach that derives from oriented bounding box (OBB). This kind of box is inside the closed mesh *** the same time, it has maximum volume which is aligned with the object axis but is enclosed by all the meshvertices. Based on the IBB of input mesh model and the OBB of robot endoskeleton, the authors can completethe process of shape matching. In this paper, the authors use an evolutionary algorithm, covariance matrixadaptation evolution strategy (CMA-ES), to approximate the IBB based on skeleton and symmetry of inputcharacter mesh *** – Based on the evolutionary algorithm CMA-ES, the optimal position and scale informationof IBB can be found. The authors can obtain satisfactory IBB result after this optimization *** output IBB has maximum volume and is enveloped by the input character mesh model as ***/value – To the best knowledge of the authors, the IBB is first proposed and used in the field ofrobot shell design. Taking advantage of the IBB, people can quickly obtain a shell model that fit for *** the same time, it can avoid collision between shell model and the robot endoskeleton.

Electrodeposited Ni and Ni-Co alloys using cysteine and conventional ultrasound waves

Ni-Co alloys were electroplated from sulphate electrolyte using addition agents including sodium gluconate, boric acid and eysteine on copper foil by the galvanostatic technique and ultrasound waves. The chemical composition, surface morphologies, crystalline structure and hardness of the Ni-Co alloys were studied using energy dispersive spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope, X-ray diffraction and Vickers testing method, respectively. The effect of current density and addition agents on the microstructure and morphology of Ni-Co alloys were examined. The appropriate concentration of additives and ultrasound waves were found to produce fine and smooth crystals leading to higher hardness of Ni-Co alloys. The microhardness of the Ni-Co alloys was varied between 4860-7530 HV. The surface morphology of coatings was changed from granular to fine due to using of gluconate, boric acid, cysteine and ultrasound waves. The mechanical properties of nanocrystalline Ni-Co alloys showed an increase of the hardness with the growing of Ni content in the alloy. The X-ray diffraction studies indicated that nanocrystalline structure was face-centred cubic for pure Ni and Ni-Co alloys with Co content in the range of 1-75 wt.%. A hexagonal closed-package structure was obtained for pure Co and Ni-Co alloys with the cobalt content with range of 75-99 wt.%.

Lip-reading technologies are rapidly progressing following the breakthrough of deep *** plays a vital role in its many applications,such as:human-machine communication practices or security *** this paper,we propose to develop an effective lip-reading recognition model for Arabic visual speech recognition by implementing deep learning *** Arabic visual datasets that have been collected contains 2400 records of Arabic digits and 960 records of Arabic phrases from 24 native *** primary purpose is to provide a high-performance model in terms of enhancing the preprocessing ***,we extract keyframes from our ***,we produce a Concatenated Frame Images(CFIs)that represent the utterance sequence in one single ***,the VGG-19 is employed for visual features extraction in our proposed *** have examined different keyframes:10,15,and 20 for comparing two types of approaches in the proposed model:(1)the VGG-19 base model and(2)VGG-19 base model with batch *** results show that the second approach achieves greater accuracy:94%for digit recognition,97%for phrase recognition,and 93%for digits and phrases recognition in the test ***,our proposed model is superior to models based on CFIs input.

Increasing demand for better throughput and performance has motivated designers to come up with more sophisticated processors with innovative designs. Such designs for multicore architectures offer large amount of parallelism which is often underutilized and thus becomes overhead and liability. Due to these advancements, there has been a exponential increase in power consumption and heat dissipation of computing devices. Under these circumstances, an ideal system would be a reconfigurable system that can switch off all underutilized resources and work with only required ones. There is a need of reconfigurable computing devices and processors that are smart enough to configure themselves dynamically on runtime to find balance between throughput and power-consumption. This paper proposes a novel fuzzy logic based Dynamic voltage and frequency scaling(DVFS)and power-gating enabled controller which is capable of reducing power-consumption without affecting throughput and overall performance of the system. The design is implemented on Intel processor using Ubuntu as an operating system. Implementation results show that proposed Fuzzy logic controller(FLC) reduces power-consumption upto 40% by reconfiguring the processor dynamically without compromising the throughput.
