Volcanic lakes in the Kuril-Kam.hatka region are difficult to access,and for this reason,they rem.in poorly studied,with only scattered and brief data *** authors have conducted a study of 10 lake basins using m.dern digital echolocation survey techniques and have also com.iled and sum.arized published data for 15 lakes in the region,calculating their m.in m.rphom.tric *** has been established that m.ny caldera lake basins are m.dified by young explosive funnels,extrusive or effusive dom.s,and exhibit traces of hydrotherm.l *** lakes of the sam. genetic type in the Kuril-Kam.hatka region are sim.lar in depth and depression form.,the group of caldera lakes shows less hom.geneity across all m.rphom.tric *** was found that the absolute heights of the reservoirs on Kam.hatka Peninsula are generally greater than those on the Kuril Islands,as is often the case with the size of their *** volcanic lakes under study can rapidly change their volum. and shape under the influence of endogenous *** the first tim. for this region,on the base of repeated observations,underwater extrusive dom. rate growth and the approxim.te rates of 2 lake level changes were *** observations of lakes in the Ksudach calderas(Kam.hatka)and on Sim.shir Island indicate approxim.te rates of level changes:a decrease ranging within 0.5-0.6 m.per year(over a 27-year observation interval)and an increase reaching up to 0.26 m.per year(over a 48-year interval).The growth rate of the underwater extrusive dom. in Lake Shtyubel has averaged 1-1.6 m.per year over the past 25 *** analysis has facilitated the first generalization regarding the m.rphology and developm.ntal features of crater and caldera lakes in the Kuril-Kam.hatka region of Russia,representing an im.ortant step in their *** results obtained will provide a solid foundation for subsequent research in this region and m.y be of interest to researchers studying

One of the m.st im.ortant param.ters in m.teorology is the m.an wind proﬁle in the tropical cyclone boundary *** vertical proﬁle of wind speed and wind direction were m.asured during the period of the nisarga cyclone from.m.y 31st,2020,to June 5th,2020,using the newly installed Phased Array Doppler Sodar system.at the Center for Space and Atm.spheric Science(CSAS),Sanjay Ghodawat University,Kolhapur(16.74◦n,74.37◦E;near India's western coast).Our analysis revealed that the m.xim.m.m.an wind speed was 17 m.s on June 3,2020,at 10:00 *** also shows the change in wind direction from.southwest to southeast on June 2 and 3,*** high-resolution reanalysis data in the dom.in,0–25◦n,65–110◦E,during the period from.m.y 31st to June 5th,2020,revealed the variation of the atm.spheric pressure of the nisarga cyclone from.1000 to 1008 hPa,sea surface tem.erature(SST)between 30◦C and 31◦C,outgoing longwave radiation(OLR)between 100 and 240 Wm.2,wind speed between 3 and 15 m.s,and low values of vertical wind shear(VWS)were observed to the north of nisarga *** observations m.y provide m.re insights for the study of boundary layer turbulence during cyclonic activities.

Two rectangular-shaped lakes,Lake Hulun and Lake Buir,located at the boundary between China and m.ngolia,only c.75 km.apart and therefore experiencing sim.lar wind fields,have been studied based on satellite im.ges and field surveys in order to com.are their geom.rphological and sedim.ntological *** wind-driven hydrodynam.cs,which have a significant effect on the developm.nt of littoral landform. and on sedim.nt distribution,have been discussed for the two sim.lar lakes that experienced a prevailing wind perpendicular to their long axis.A conceptual m.del related to wind-driven water bodies and sedim.nt distribution is ***-influenced to wave-dom.nated deltas,beaches,spits,and eolian dune deposits develop around these two lakes,with a strikingly sim.lar distribution *** features locally inform.the longshore drift and help reconstruct the water circulation induced by wind *** the nW prevailing wind regim.,the spits developed on the SW coast with a nW—SE extension,which was influenced by the nW—SE longshore *** sam. influence was observed in the delta extension in the nE *** differences lie in the presence of fan deltas in the nW region of Lake Hulun,but not in Lake ***,the width of the beach and eolian deposits on the downwind coast of Lake Hulun is three tim.s greater than that of Lake Buir which were caused by the differences in sedim.nt supply and wind fetch between the two *** Hulun and Lake Buir provide two reliable exam.les to understand the relationship am.ng the wind field,provenance,hydrodynam.cs,landform.,and asym.etrical distribution of clastics in elongated *** also represent relevant m.dern analogs,which m.y also be of guiding significance to wind-driven sand body prediction in lacustrine basins.

Logical Im.ge Acquisition and Analysis of Android Sm.rtphones

Android sm.rtphones largely dom.nate the sm.rtphone m.rket. For this reason, it is very im.ortant to exam.ne these sm.rtphones in term. of digital forensics since they are often used as evidence in trials. It is possible to acquire a physical or logical im.ge of these devices. Acquiring physical and logical im.ges has advantages and disadvantages com.ared to each other. Creating the logical im.ge is done at the file system.level. Analysis can be m.de on this logical im.ge. Both logical im.ge acquisition and analysis of the im.ge can be done by software tools. In this study, the differences between logical im.ge and physical im.ge acquisition in Android sm.rtphones, their advantages and disadvantages com.ared to each other, the difficulties that m.y be encountered in obtaining physical im.ges, which type of im.ge contributes to obtaining m.re useful and effective data, which one should be preferred for different conditions, and the benefits of having root authority are discussed. The practice of getting the logical im.ge of the Android sm.rtphones and m.king an analysis on the im.ge is also included. Although root privileges are not required for logical im.ge acquisition, it has been observed that very lim.ted data will be obtained with the logical im.ge created without root privileges. nevertheless, logical im.ge acquisition has advantages too against physical im.ge acquisition.

Convection-perm.tting m.deling allows us to understand m.chanism. that influence rainfall in specific ***,m.crophysics param.terization(m.) and planetary boundary layer(PBL) schem.s rem.in an im.ortant source of uncertainty,affecting rainfall intensity,occurrence,duration,and ***,we study the sensitivity of rainfall to three m. [Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF) Single-m.m.nt 6-class(WSm.),Thom.son,and m.rrison] and two PBL [the Yonsei University(YSU) and m.llor–Yam.da nakanishi niino(m.nn)] schem.s with a convection-perm.tting resolution(4 km. over northwestern South Am.rica(nWSA).Sim.lations were perform.d by using the WRF m.del and the results were evaluated against soundings,rain gauges,and satellite data,considering the spatio-tem.oral variability of rainfall over diverse regions prone to deep convection in *** and PBL schem.s largely influenced sim.lated rainfall,with better results for the less com.utationally expensive WSm. m. and YSU PBL *** rain gauges and satellite estim.tes,sim.lations with m.rrison m. overestim.ted rainfall,especially westward of the Andes,whereas the m.nn PBL underestim.ted precipitation in the Am.zon–Savannas *** found that the uncertainty in the rainfall representation is highly dependent on the region,with a higher influence of m. in the Colom.ian Pacific and PBL in the Am.zon–Savannas *** analyzing rainfall-related processes,the selection of both m. and PBL param.terizations exerted a large influence on the sim.lated lower tropospheric m.isture flux and m.isture *** schem.s significantly influenced the downward shortwave radiation,with m.nn sim.lating a greater am.unt of low clouds,which decreased the radiation ***,latent heat fluxes were greater for YSU,favoring m.ist convection and *** schem.s had a m.rked im.act on vertical ***,m.rrison m. showed stronger convection and higher precipitation rates,which is assoc
