Forsythia suspensa,belonging to the deciduous shrubs of the Luteaceae family,a traditional Chinese medicine,has effects of alleviating swelling,clearing heat,detoxification and promoting blood *** leaves of *** contain multiple chemical components and have a long history of use in folk medicines and health *** purpose of this study was to explore the effects of forsythin extract from *** leaves on intestinal microbiota and short-chain fatty acid(SCFA)content in rats with obesity induced by a high-fat *** extract in *** leaves increased the abundance of the intestinal microbiota,ameliorated intestinal microbiota disorders and inhibited the increase in total SCFA content in the intestinal tract in rats with obesity induced by a high-fat *** results suggested that forsythin extract in *** leaves may slow the development of obesity induced by a high-fat diet;thus,its active components and efficacy are worthy of further study.

The Internet of Things(IoT)access controlmechanism may encounter security issues such as single point of failure and data *** address these issues,a blockchain-based IoT reputation value attribute access control scheme is ***,writing the reputation value as an attribute into the access control policy,and then deploying the access control policy in the smart contract of the blockchain system can enable the system to provide more fine-grained access control;Secondly,storing a large amount of resources fromthe Internet of Things in Inter Planetary File System(IPFS)to improve system throughput;Finally,map resource access operations to qualification tokens to improve the performance of the access control *** simulation experiments based on the Hyperledger Fabric *** simulation experimental results,it can be seen that the access control system can achieve more fine-grained and dynamic access control while maintaining high throughput and low time delay,providing sufficient reliability and security for access control of IoT devices.

The long-term safety and effectiveness of once-daily tadalafil is crucial,but limited data are available in Chinese patients witherectile dysfunction(ED).In this post-marketing,multicenter,randomized,open-label trial with 2-year follow-up,635 ED caseswere randomized to receive daily oral tadalafil 2.5 mg or 5 mg for 3 months,of whom 580 continued once-daily tadalafil 5 mg for21 ***-emergent adverse events in the 12-month and 24-month period were similar,with the most common beingviral upper respiratory tract infection,upper respiratory tract infection,and *** improvement from baseline inthe International Index of Erectile Function-Erectile Function(IIEF-EF)score was detected at month 12(least squares mean[LSm]change:7.9,95%confidence interval[CI]:7.5–8.4,Pmaintained to month 24(LSm change:8.6,95%CI:8.1–9.0,Png normal erectile function(IIEF-EF score≥26)were 43.7%and 48.0%at months 12 and 24,*** Assessment Questionnaire results showed improved erection function in 97.5%ofpatients and improved ability to engage in sexual activity in 95.9%of patients at month 12;these values were 96.1%and 95.0%at month 24,*** quality of sexual life score based on the Sexual Life Quality Questionnaire(SLQQ)was increased by52.2%at month 12 and by 55.3%at month 24(both Pment satisfaction score determined by SLQQ(mean±standard deviation)was 62.4±21.0 at month 12 versus 65.9±20.2 at month ***-year daily application of tadalafil 5mg in Chinese men with ED showed a favorable safety profile and durable improvement in sexual performance and satisfaction.

X-ray photon correlation spectroscopy(XPCS)has emerged as a powerful tool for probing the nanoscale dynamics of soft condensed matter and strongly correlated materials owing to its high spatial resolution and penetration *** technique requires high brilliance and beam coherence,which are not directly available at modern synchrotron beamlines in *** facilitate future XPCS experiments,we modified the optical setup of the newly commissioned BL10U1 USAXS beamline at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF).Subsequently,we performed XPCS measurements on silica suspensions in glycerol,which were opaque owing to their high *** were collected using a high frame rate area detector.A comprehensive analysis was performed,yielding correlation functions and several key dynamic *** the results were consistent with the theory of Brownian motion and demonstrated the feasibility of XPCS at ***,by carefully optimizing the setup and analyzing the algorithms,we achieved a time resolution of 2 ms,which enabled the characterization of millisecond dynamics in opaque systems.

Human Notum(hNotum)inhibitors could be used for treating Wnt signalling-associated diseases including colorectal ***,two series of chalcone derivatives were designed and synthesized aim.ng to find selective and potent hNotum ***–activity relationship(SAR)studies showed that 2-methoxyl and 5-bromine substitutions on A-ring significantly enhanced anti-hNotum effect,while 4’-ethoxyl and 3’-alkyl substitutions on B-ring were beneficial for hNotum *** all tested chalcones,B11 displayed the most potent anti-Notum effect(IC_(50)=3.6 nmol/L),good selectivity,excellent chemical stability and suitable metabolic *** investigations showed that B11 acted as a competitive inhibitor of hNotum,while this agent(5μmol/L)significantly weaken the migration abilities of colorectal cancer ***,this study deciphers the SARs of chalcones as hNotum inhibitors and reports a novel and potent hNotum inhibitor with the anti-migration effect on colorectal cancer cells,which offers a promising lead compound to develop novel anti-cancer agents.
