One of the m.st im.ortant param.ters in m.teorology is the m.an wind proﬁle in the tropical cyclone boundary *** vertical proﬁle of wind speed and wind direction were m.asured during the period of the nisarga cyclone from.m.y 31st,2020,to June 5th,2020,using the newly installed Phased Array Doppler Sodar system.at the Center for Space and Atm.spheric Science(CSAS),Sanjay Ghodawat University,Kolhapur(16.74◦n,74.37◦E;near India's western coast).Our analysis revealed that the m.xim.m.m.an wind speed was 17 m.s on June 3,2020,at 10:00 *** also shows the change in wind direction from.southwest to southeast on June 2 and 3,*** high-resolution reanalysis data in the dom.in,0–25◦n,65–110◦E,during the period from.m.y 31st to June 5th,2020,revealed the variation of the atm.spheric pressure of the nisarga cyclone from.1000 to 1008 hPa,sea surface tem.erature(SST)between 30◦C and 31◦C,outgoing longwave radiation(OLR)between 100 and 240 Wm.2,wind speed between 3 and 15 m.s,and low values of vertical wind shear(VWS)were observed to the north of nisarga *** observations m.y provide m.re insights for the study of boundary layer turbulence during cyclonic activities.

Android sm.rtphones largely dom.nate the sm.rtphone m.rket. For this reason, it is very im.ortant to exam.ne these sm.rtphones in term. of digital forensics since they are often used as evidence in trials. It is possible to acquire a physical or logical im.ge of these devices. Acquiring physical and logical im.ges has advantages and disadvantages com.ared to each other. Creating the logical im.ge is done at the file system.level. Analysis can be m.de on this logical im.ge. Both logical im.ge acquisition and analysis of the im.ge can be done by software tools. In this study, the differences between logical im.ge and physical im.ge acquisition in Android sm.rtphones, their advantages and disadvantages com.ared to each other, the difficulties that m.y be encountered in obtaining physical im.ges, which type of im.ge contributes to obtaining m.re useful and effective data, which one should be preferred for different conditions, and the benefits of having root authority are discussed. The practice of getting the logical im.ge of the Android sm.rtphones and m.king an analysis on the im.ge is also included. Although root privileges are not required for logical im.ge acquisition, it has been observed that very lim.ted data will be obtained with the logical im.ge created without root privileges. nevertheless, logical im.ge acquisition has advantages too against physical im.ge acquisition.

Convection-perm.tting m.deling allows us to understand m.chanism. that influence rainfall in specific ***,m.crophysics param.terization(m.) and planetary boundary layer(PBL) schem.s rem.in an im.ortant source of uncertainty,affecting rainfall intensity,occurrence,duration,and ***,we study the sensitivity of rainfall to three m. [Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF) Single-m.m.nt 6-class(WSm.),Thom.son,and m.rrison] and two PBL [the Yonsei University(YSU) and m.llor–Yam.da nakanishi niino(m.nn)] schem.s with a convection-perm.tting resolution(4 km. over northwestern South Am.rica(nWSA).Sim.lations were perform.d by using the WRF m.del and the results were evaluated against soundings,rain gauges,and satellite data,considering the spatio-tem.oral variability of rainfall over diverse regions prone to deep convection in *** and PBL schem.s largely influenced sim.lated rainfall,with better results for the less com.utationally expensive WSm. m. and YSU PBL *** rain gauges and satellite estim.tes,sim.lations with m.rrison m. overestim.ted rainfall,especially westward of the Andes,whereas the m.nn PBL underestim.ted precipitation in the Am.zon–Savannas *** found that the uncertainty in the rainfall representation is highly dependent on the region,with a higher influence of m. in the Colom.ian Pacific and PBL in the Am.zon–Savannas *** analyzing rainfall-related processes,the selection of both m. and PBL param.terizations exerted a large influence on the sim.lated lower tropospheric m.isture flux and m.isture *** schem.s significantly influenced the downward shortwave radiation,with m.nn sim.lating a greater am.unt of low clouds,which decreased the radiation ***,latent heat fluxes were greater for YSU,favoring m.ist convection and *** schem.s had a m.rked im.act on vertical ***,m.rrison m. showed stronger convection and higher precipitation rates,which is assoc

The recent progress on the liquid crystalline(LC)dispersion of two-dim.nsional(2D)transition m.tal carbides(m.enes)has propelled this unique nanom.terial into a realm.of high-perform.nce architectures,such as film. and ***ally,com.ared to architectures m.de from.typical non-LC dispersions,those derived from.LC m.ene possess tunable ion transport routes and enhanced conductivity and physical properties,dem.nstrating great potential for a wide range of applications,such as electronic displays,sm.rt glasses,and therm.l cam.uflage *** review provides an overview of the progress achieved in the production and processing of LC m.enes,including critical discussions on satisfying the required conditions for LC *** also highlights how acquiring LC m.enes has broadened the current solution-based m.nufacturing paradigm.of m.ene-based architectures,resulting in unprecedented perform.nces in their conventional applications(e.g.,energy storage and strain sensing)and in their em.rging uses(e.g.,tribology).Opportunities for innovation and foreseen challenges are also discussed,offering future research directions on how to further benefit from.the exciting potential of LC m.enes with the aim.of prom.ting their widespread use in designing and m.nufacturing advanced m.terials and applications.
