To avoid s.il degradation,adapt to clim.te change and com.ly with the s.s.ainable Developm.nt goals.2030(Un General As.em.ly),es.ablis.ing the quality/fertility of the agricultural s.ils.of the m.diterranean region and evaluate how thes. evolve with tim. is.*** enables.adequate m.nagem.nt practices.to be *** m.diterranean calcareous.region has.received little attention in this.s.ns.,in s.ite its.s.il ***,24 different repres.ntative calcareous.agricultural s.ils.of the m.diterranean region,including the m.in m.nagem.nt s.rategies.of agricultural s.ils.rainfed and irrigated),were s.m.led from.the is.and of m.llorca;and their phys.cal,chem.cal and biological properties.*** values.obtained for m.s. of the s.il characteris.ics.allowed to es.ablis. an initial approach to the reference values.for the type of calcareous.agricultural s.ils.cons.dered,and to clearly dis.inguis. the effect of rainfed or irrigation m.nagem.nt practices.on s.ils.properties.and *** enzym. activities.were not s.im.lated by the irrigation conditions.as.ayed or they were only in dry conditions.s.gges.ing optim.m.enzym. activities.could be obtained when alternating dry and hum.d s.il *** organic carbon,calcium.carbonate and active lim. revealed of s.gnificant im.ortance in the collection of ***,the res.lts.obtained clearly indicate the heterogeneity of the region and its.im.lications.on the different s.il ***,this.s.udy could s.rve as.a s.arting point to adequately es.ablis. the quality(fertility)for m.diterranean calcareous.agricultural s.ils.and their reference values.by conducting further res.arch in this.region and including m.re type of s.ils.

s.vanna, s.m.-des.rts. and hot des.rts.characterize the s.haro-Arabian region, which includes.m.rocco, m.uretania, Algeria, Tunis.a, Libya, Egypt, Pales.ine, Kuwait, s.udi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Em.rates. Om.n, Yem.n, s.uthern Jordan, s.ria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanis.an, Pakis.an, and northern India. Its.neighboring regions. the s.dano-Zam.ezian region belonging to the Paleotropical Kingdom.and the m.diterranean and Irano-Turanian regions.included in the Holarctic Kingdom. s.are a large portion of their flora with the s.haro-Arabian region. Des.ite the wides.read acknowledgm.nt of the region's.global im.ortance for plant divers.ty, an up to date lis. of the s.haro-Arabian endem.cs.is.s.ill unavailable. The available data are frequently ins.fficient or out of date at both the whole global and the national s.ales. Therefore, the pres.nt s.udy aim. at s.reening and verifying the s.haro-Arabian endem.c plants.and determ.ning the phytogeographical dis.ribution of thes. taxa in the Egyptian flora. Hence, a prelim.nary lis. of 429 s.haro-Arabian endem.c plants.in Egypt was.com.iled from.the available literature. Indeed, by excluding the s.ecies.that were recorded in any countries.or regions.outs.de the s.haro-Arabian region bas.d on different literature, databas. reviews. and webs.tes. the pres.nt s.udy has.reduced this.num.er to 126 taxa belonging to 87 genera and 37 fam.lies. Regarding the national geographic dis.ribution, s.uth s.nai is.the riches. region with 83 endem.c s.ecies.com.ared with other eight phytogeographic regions.in Egypt, followed by the Is.hm.c Des.rt(the m.ddle of s.nai Penins.la, 53 taxa). s.hara regional s.bzone(s.1) dis.ributes.all the 126 endem.c s.ecies. Arabian regional s.bzone(s.2) owns.79 taxa, and nubo-s.ndian s.bzone(s.3) dis.ributes.only 14 endem.cs. s.ven groups.were recognized at the fourth level of clas.ification as.a res.lt of the application of the two-way indicator s.ecies.analys.s.TWIns.An) to the s.haro-Arabian endem.c s.

Due to their therm.l perform.nce,dom.d roofs.are one of the pas.ive s.lutions.that affect energy cons.m.tion in *** therm.l perform.nce of dom.d roofs.has.been inves.igated in m.ny naturally ventilated ***,few s.udies.have dis.us.ed their perform.nce in conditioned ***,this.s.udy introduces.a com.utational com.aris.n between dom.d and flat roofs.to inves.igate their im.act on therm.l com.ort ins.de a conditioned *** an earlier s.age,field m.as.rem.nts.were carried out ins.de a Bahraini m.s.ue to acquire its.indoor air conditions.during the s.m.er period of 2021,in addition to validating the com.utational *** findings.of this.s.udy confirm.that,under m.chanical cooling conditions.the flat roof offers.a lower indoor tem.erature than the dom.d roof by 0.4℃and 0.1℃for open and clos.d doors.***,the air velocity is.lower by approxim.tely 0.01 m.s.for both door *** overall Pm. values.of the flat roof are als. lower by 0.07 and 0.01,while the PPD values.are lower by 0.20,and 0.34 for open and clos.d doors.*** on thes. s.0}ll differences.it can be concluded that the therm.l perform.nce of both roofing s.s.em. behaves.equally in conditioned ***,the air patterns.are s.bs.antially different,the overall therm.l perform.nce is.*** s.m.larity drives.building des.gners.to rethink the therm.l perform.nce of the dom.d roofs.in air-conditioned s.aces.with s.ch a hot clim.te,regardles. of their aes.hetic and acous.ical behaviour.

The aim.of this.s.udy was.to pres.nt the epidem.ological, clinical and therapeutic as.ects.of adult urological cancers.in the departm.nt of urology at Zinder national Hos.ital. Patients.and m.thods. This.was.a cros.-s.ctional s.udy of adult prim.ry urologic cancers.during the period of January 2019 to Decem.er 2023. Data were obtained from.the record of patients.adm.tted to urology, and the m.dical oncology departm.nt. The param.ters.s.udied were;frequency, age, s.x, urogenital dis.ribution, anatom.pathological type, and therapeutic as.ects. Data were recorded on Excel 2013 and analyzed with Epi-info vers.on 7.2.5. Res.lts. Epidem.ology: About 289 cancers.were diagnos.d through 6017 cons.ltations.during the period, corres.onding to 4.80% of urological pathologies. pros.ate cancer (n = 221;76.47%), bladder cancer (n = 46;15.92%), kidney cancer (n = 13;04.5%), tes.is.cancer (n = 09;03.11%). m.dian age of patients.was.50.42 years. Pros.ate cancer: was.Adenocarcinom. in 100% (n = 221) with Gleas.n s.ores.> 7 (77.83%) and pros.atique s.ecific antigen (Ps.) > 20 ng/m. in 90.04%. Extens.on evaluation 134 cas.s.(60.63%). Treatm.nt was.chirurgical cas.ration in (62.44%) and res.s.ance to cas.ration appeared between 8 and 11 m.nths. Hos.ital m.rtality for pros.ate cancer was.16.29%. Bladder cancer was.found in 46 cas.s.with s.x ratio 7/1. Cys.os.opy was.perform.d for all. His.ology revealed s.uam.us.cell carcinom. (n = 41;89.13%), and (n = 5;10.87%) urothelial. Endos.opic res.ction perform.d (n = 14;30.43%). Kidney cancers.were 13 cas.s.(10 m.n, 03 wom.n). nephrectom. was.perform.d in (n = 8;61.54%) cas.s.and His.ology revealed renal cell cancer in 76.92%. Tes.icular cancers.were diag 09 cas.s. His.ory of cryptorchidis.0}was.found in 4 cas.s. 4-year infertility in 3 cas.s. Orchidectom. was.done in all cas.s. Chem.therapy in 3 cas.s. Objective:To evaluate the polio laboratory s.rveillance carried out from.January,2019 to m.y,2023 by the Polio Regional Reference Laboratory,s.i ***:This.retros.ective s.udy analyzed all s.ool s.m.les.received under the acute flaccid paralys.s.AFP)and im.unodeficient vaccine-derived poliovirus.VDPV)s.rveillance at Polio Regional Reference Laboratory,s.i Lanka from.January,2019 to m.y,*** res.lts.of the tes.ing m.thodologies.were extracted from.the laboratory data s.s.em.i.e.,poliovirus.virus.is.lation,intra-typic differentiation/VDPV real tim. revers. trans.riptas. polym.ras. chain reaction(ITD/VDPV rRTPCR)and s.quencing,along with the data on tim.ng of reporting res.lts.s.ool adequacy and *** was.analyzed us.ng des.riptive ***:A total of 2141 s.ool s.m.les.from.1644 cas.s.were received for AFP s.rveillance from.s.i Lanka(93.61%),m.ldives.1.52%),and im.unodeficient VDPV(4.86%)*** poliovirus.s.19/1644,1.15%)and non-polio enterovirus.s.73/1644,4.44%)were is.lated,while s.bin-like 3 virus.was.detected in m.jority(12/19,63.15%)am.ng the poliovirus.*** poliovirus.s.or circulating VDPVs.were not detected am.ng the *** all years.of the s.udy,the non-polio AFP detection rate was.1/100000 in children aged les. than 15 years.whereas.s.ool adequacy rate was.80%.All res.lts.were reported within 14 days.of receipt,ens.ring tim.ly reporting as.per global ***:The Polio Regional Reference Laboratory,s.i Lanka plays.a vital role in m.intaining the polio-free s.atus.in the country through its.robus. laboratory s.rveillance,while adhering to the s.rveillance ***-detection of wild poliovirus.s.and circulating VDPV during the s.udy period reinforces.the polio-free s.atus.in the country.
