Consensus control of stochastic multi-agent systems: a survey

In this article, we provide a review of the consensus control problem for stochastic multi-agent systems(MASs). Recent advances are surveyed according to the method of occurrence of the stochasticity of the MASs. First, the consensus problem is discussed for MASs, wherein individual agents are corrupted by random noises, i.e., the dynamics of agents involve stochasticity in process and/or measurement equations. Both additive noises and multiplicative noises are surveyed in detail and special attention is paid to the MASs whose dynamics are governed by It?o differential equations. Moreover, particular effort is devoted to presenting the latest progress on the consensus problem for a special type of stochastic MAS with Markovian jump parameters. Subsequently,the relevant research is summarized for MASs with noisy communication environments and stochastic ***, we provide a systematic review of the consensus problems for MASs whose communication topology varies randomly in the process of data propagation among agents. Finally, conclusions are drawn and several potential future research directions are outlined.

The responses of activities, abundances and community structures of soil denitrifiers to mercury （Hg） stress were investigated through a short-term incubation experiment. Four soil treatments with different concentrations of Hg （CK, Hg25, Hg50, and Hg100, denoted as 0, 25, 50, and 100 mg Hg/kg dry soil, respectively） were incubated for 28 days. Soil denitrification enzyme activity （DEA） was measured at day 3, 7 and 28. The abundances and community structures of two denitrification concerning genes, nirS （cd1-nitrite reductase gene） and nosZ （nitrous oxide reductase gene）, were analyzed using real-time PCR and denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis （DGGE）. Results showed that soil DEA was significantly stimulated in the treatments of Hg25 and Hg50 compared with others at day 7. Meanwhile, no difference in the abundances of soil nirS and nosZ was found between Hg spiked treatments and CK, except the lower abundance of nirS （P 〈 0.05） in the Hg added treatments compared with that in the CK at day 28. The community structures of denitrifiers based on nirS gene presented obvious change at day 7 along with the Hg additions, however, no variation was found in all treatments based on the nosZ gene. The results indicated that Hg （Hg25 and Hg50） had a strongly short-term stimulation on soil DEA, and nirS gene is more sensitive than nosZ gene to Hg stress.

Perfluorinated organic compounds(PFOCs) are emerging persistent organic pollutants(POPs) widely distributed in the environment,wildlife and *** studied the toxicology of perfluorooctane sulfonate(PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA) on immunotoxicity and hepatotoxicity in primarily cultured hepatocytes of freshwater tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus).Cultured hepatocytes were exposed to PFOS or PFOA(0,10,20 and 30 mg/L) for 24,48,72,96,120 and 144 hours,*** doses of these compounds that induce significantly detectable immunotoxicity and hepatotoxicity were employed in the *** response to PFOS,the leukocytes,B cells,granulocytes,and macrophages among the isolation of intrahepatic immune cells(IHIC) from PFOS-treated tilapia produced significant levels of immune cells compared with that of the control *** numbers of leukocytes,B cells,granulocytes,and macrophages for PFOS-treated tilapia increased with the incremental exposure ***,similar to the findings in PFOA toxicity effects,the erythropoietin levels in tilapia increased with the increase of the PFOS and PFOA *** lowest doses(10 mg/L) of PFOS exposure led to a marked inhibition in the hepatocyte viability in ***,tilapia exposed to PFOA demonstrated a similar pattern,and a dose-dependent decrease in the hepatocyte viability was observed in the following treatment of *** the 72 h exposures,ethoxy-resorufin-O-deethylase(EROD) activity was significantly induced with the increase concentrations in tilapia liver(p<0.05).Tilapia showed a strong EROD induction in livers,and significantly difference in EROD activity was observed between control,PFOS and PFOA-exposed *** liver glycogen content showed that PFOS and PFOA exposure caused significant changes in the liver glycogen content,which depended on the duration of *** it appeared that the decrease in blood glucose level during the acclimation was followed by significant incr

Hausmannite is a common low valence Mn oxide mineral,with a distorted spinel structure,in surficial *** natural Mn oxides often contain various impurities of transitional metals(TMs),few studies have addressed the effect and related mechanism of TM doping on the reactivity of hausmannite with metal ***,the reactivity of cobalt(Co)doped hausmannite with aqueous As(Ⅲ)and As(Ⅴ)was *** doping decreased the point of zero charge of hausmannite and its adsorption capacity for As(Ⅴ).Despite a reduction of the initial As(Ⅲ)oxidation rate,Co-doped hausmannite could effectively oxidize As(Ⅲ)to As(Ⅴ),followed by the adsorption and fixation of a large amount of As(Ⅴ)on the mineral *** K-edge EXAFS analysis of the samples after As(Ⅴ)adsorption and As(Ⅲ)oxidation revealed that only As(Ⅴ)was adsorbed on the mineral surface,with an average As-Mn distance of 3.25–3.30 A,indicating the formation of bidentate binuclear *** results provide new insights into the interaction mechanism between TMs and low valence Mn oxides and their effect on the geochemical behaviors of metal pollutants.

Fabrication and characterization of novel meso-porous carbon/n-octadecane as form-stable phase change materials for enhancement of phase-change behavior

In this study, series of novel composite phase change materials(PCMs) were prepared through vacuum impregnation by using meso-porous carbon as a supporting matrix and n-octadcane as *** meso-porous carbon material was prepared through one-pot co-assembly method, using resorcinol and formaldehyde as carbon precursor, tetraethoxysilane as silica sources and triblock copolymer F127 as a template. And the phase behaviors of n-octadcane confined in the nano-porous structure of the meso-porous carbon were further investigated. Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy spectra show that n-octadecane was effectively encapsulated in the porous structure of mesoporous carbon and the composite PCMs were successfully prepared. Differential scanning calorimetry results confirm that the composite PCMs possess a good phase change behavior, fast thermal-response rate and excellent thermal cycling stability. In addition, the composite PCMs possess expected heat storage and heat release properties. All these results demonstrate that the composite PCMs possess good comprehensive property so that they can be used widely in energy storage systems.
