Stroke is classified as ischemic or hemorrhagic,and there are few effective treatments for either *** mechanisms play a critical role in secondary brain injury following a stroke,which manifests as cytokine release,blood–brain barrier disruption,neuronal cell death,and ultimately behavioral *** the inflammatory response has been shown to mitigate this cascade of events in experimental stroke ***,in clinical trials of anti-inflammatory agents,longterm immunosuppression has not demonstrated significant clinical benefits for *** may be attributable to the dichotomous roles of inflammation in both tissue injury and repair,as well as the complex pathophysiologic inflammatory processes in *** acute harmful inflammatory responses or inducing a phenotypic shift from a pro-inflammatory to an anti-inflammatory state at specific time points after a stroke are alternative and promising therapeutic *** agents that can modulate inflammation requires a detailed understanding of the inflammatory processes of ***,epigenetic reprogramming plays a crucial role in modulating post-stroke inflammation and can potentially be exploited for stroke *** this review,we summarize current findings on the epigenetic regulation of the inflammatory response in stroke,focusing on key signaling pathways including nuclear factor-kappa B,Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription,and mitogen-activated protein kinase as well as inflammasome *** also discuss promising molecular targets for stroke *** evidence to date indicates that therapeutic targeting of the epigenetic regulation of inflammation can shift the balance from inflammation-induced tissue injury to repair following stroke,leading to improved post-stroke outcomes.

In this article,we comment on an article published in a recent issue of the World Journal of *** specifically focus on the roles of human leukocyte antigen(HLA)and donor-specific antibodies(DSAs)in pediatric liver transpl-antation(LT),as well as the relationship between immune rejection after LT and ***,LT remains the standard of care for pediatric patients with end-stage liver disease or severe acute liver ***,acute and chronic re-jection continues to be a significant cause of graft dysfunction and *** mismatch significantly reduces graft survival and increases the risk of acute *** them,D→R one-way mismatch at three loci was significantly related to graft-versus-host disease incidence after *** adverse impact of HLA-DSAs on LT recipients is already ***,the evaluation of HLA and DSA is crucial in pediatric LT.

For nearly a century,semiconductor has kept playing an extremely important role in promoting the advancement of modern science,technology and society,owing to its performance advantages and industry-driven ***,when the time comes to this day and age,the semiconductor area,which is entering into its 3rd generation era,even develops much rapidly than ever ***,the semiconductor industry is mainly driven by three generations of *** first generation,represented by silicon(Si)and germanium(Ge),began from the *** second generation,represented by gallium arsenide(GaAs)and indium phosphide(InP),emerged from the *** third generation,focusing on those of gallium nitride(GaN)and silicon carbide(SiC),dated back to the late 20th *** semiconductor industry,as the most capital,human and technology-intensive manufacturing area,is often faced with such a tough challenge:before the production begins,water and electricity have to be in *** to the present,nearly all the classical semiconductor growth technologies such as molecular beam epitaxy(MBE),pulsed laser deposition(PLD),metal-organic chemical vapor deposition(MOCVD),and atomic layer deposition(ALD)*** been relying heavily on high temperature processing and perfect vacuum conditions(Figs.1(a)and 1(b)),which were basically subjected to large power stability.

Thermodynamic investigation of phase equilibria in Al–Si–V system

The Al-Si-V system is assessed to understand the phase equilibria of V-containing（3 d transition metal）Al-Si alloys, which are generally of great importance for technical applications. Four annealed alloys were prepared to study the phase equilibria of Al-rich corner（V ≤ 23.3 at.%, Si ≤ 57.6 at.%） in the temperature range of 500-930 ℃. The microstructure and phase constituents of the samples were determined by X-ray diffraction（XRD） and scanning electron microscopy（SEM） equipped with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer（EDS）, The existence of ternary phase τ（Al（0.6） Si（1.4） V, TiSi2-type） was confirmed with the composition ranging from 17.98 to 18.59 at.% Al and 48.89-49.20 at.% Si. However, it did not equilibrate with fcc（Al） below 868℃, which was determined by differential scanning calorimetry（DSC）. The Si3 V5 appeared in Al58 5 Si（18.3） V（23.2） and Al64 7 Si（20.2） V（15.1） alloys annealed at 500 ℃. It nearly disappeared after3000 h-annealing and its thermodynamic stability was discussed. According to the measured phase relationships, the thermodynamic description of Al-Si-V system was optimized combing with the enthalpies of formation of binary and ternary compounds obtained by density functional theory（DFT）. The Si-V system was modified to obtain the congruent liquidus of Si3 V5 and enthalpy of formation of Si3 V5 and Si2 V with experimental data. By comparing the calculated phase equilibria and phase transitions with experimental data, it showed that a good agreement was reached. The description of Al-Si-V system could be used to guide the development of Al-Si alloys.

With the emergence of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis and extensive drug-resistant tuberculosis strains,there is an urgent need to develop novel drugs for the treatment of *** respiratory chain is a promising target for the development of newantimycobacterial agents,and a growing number of compounds have been reported and some have entered clinical *** this review,we summarize the main features and the electron transfer process of the mycobacterial respiratory chain,and the recent progress in the search for new small molecule inhibitors to rgeting the three main potential targets in the respiratory chain of Mycrobacterium *** emphasis is on the optimization strategy of QcrB inhibitors and the challenges of developing QcrB inhibitors as antituberculosis drugs due to the alternate bd-type oxidase oxidative compensation pathway are discussed.

Dendronized Polymers with High FTC-chromophore Loading Density:Large Second-order Nonlinear Optical Effects, Good Temporal and Thermal Stability

In this study,two new dendronized nonlinear optical(NLO)polymers were synthesized with high FTC chromophore loading density by introduction of high generation chromophore dendrons on the side *** to their suitable molecular weights,both of them possessed good solubility in common *** also inherited the advantages of dendrimers(large NLO coefficient),especially for PG2 whose NLO coefficient d33 value was as high as 282 pm·V^–***,PG2 had a good temporal stability with 80%of its maximum value being retained at the temperature as high as 129℃.

Preparation of single-phase ammonium dimolybdate by combination process

A novel method for the preparation of single-phase ammonium dimolybdate with industrial ammonium molybdate was studied. Various in- fluential factors were evaluated in the paper, including reaction temperature, reaction time, initial molybdenum concentration, initial NH_3 /Mo molar ratio, and stirring speed. Under the optimum experimental conditions, the crystallization rate of product is 85.23%. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and chemical analysis show that the product is single-phase ammonium dimolybdate, and no impurity phases exist. The scanning electronic microscope (SEM) image reveals uniform particle size, good particle dispersion, and no agglomeration between particles. Meanwhile, the final pH value of acidification was investigated. The total molybdenum recovery can reach up to 99.40%, and the main phases of acidification product are the same as those of raw material with the final pH value of 1.5. This determines that the acidification product can be used as a raw material to produce single-phase ammonium dimolybdate.

Investigations of entrainment characteristics and shear-layer vortices evolution in an axisymmetric rear variable area bypass injector

Evolution of two properties for scale-free network

Fitness of node can denote its competing power and clustering denotes the transitivity of network. Because the fitness of node is uncertain or fuzzy in some social networks, an explicit form of the degree distribution on fuzzy fitness is derived within a mean field approach. It is a weighted sum of different fuzzy fitness. It can be found that the fuzzy fitness of nodes may lead to multiscaling. Moreover, the clustering coefficient of node decays as power law and clustering coefficient of network behavior not-decrease-but-increase’ phenomenon after some time. Some computer simulation results of these models illustrate these analytical results.
