From the classical Chinese literary masterpiece Investiture of the Gods to contemporary flm animation,Nezha’s image is *** the portrayals of Nezha,namely in those most celebrated animated flms,we argue that his role as the epitome of a‘god like fgure’is in constant displacement and *** the framework of archetype and displacement as advanced by Northrop Frye,with a more pluralistic myth analysis extension found in the myth critique of Gilbert Durand,this article examines the multi-layered mythical mini structures within Nezha’s displacement and return in Chinese animation,to explore the themes,images,and archetype represented by the character from the perspective of Chinese history and *** argue that Nezha’s displacement and return in Chinese animation expresses the need and call for a traditional heroic image in a particular *** such,Nezha’s intertextuality exposes the profound inner patterns that form and refashion the Chinese collective unconscious,performing as a recurring mirror that symbolically inform and transform human experiences in China.

Adult stem cells,especially from bone marrow,have a tremendous therapeutic potential,and its application in regenerative medicine has been increasingly studied [1,2].It is well known that three-dimensional (3D)cell culture matrix promotes many biological relevant functions not observed in two-dimensional (2D) monolayer cell culture [3]and therefore,engineering 3D cell culture platforms to mimic the native in vivo biological systems represents a realistic approach for studies of bone marrow stem cells. High-throughput microfluidics constitutes a promising technology to generate hydrogel three dimensional constructs [4,5],however, its application to host adult stem cells remains still a challenge.

Transcription factors(TFs)regulate gene expression by binding to cis-regulatory sequences in the promoters of target *** research is helping to decipher in part the cis-regulatory code in eukaryotes,including plants,but it is not yet fully understood how paralogous TFs select their *** we addressed this question by studying several proteins of the basic helix-loop-helix(bHLH)family of plant TFs,all of which recognize the same DNA *** focused on the MYC-related group of bHLHs,that redundantly regulate the jasmonate(JA)signaling pathway,and we observed a high correspondence between DNA-binding profiles in vitro and MYC function in *** demonstrated that A/T-rich modules flanking the MYC-binding motif,conserved from bryophytes to higher plants,are essential for TF recogni*** observed particular DNA-shape features associated with A/T modules,indicating that the DNA shape may contribute to MYC DNA *** extended this analysis to 20 additional bHLHs and observed correspondence between in vitro binding and protein function,but it could not be attributed to A/T modules as in *** conclude that different bHLHs may have their own codes for DNA binding and specific selection of targets that,at least in the case of MYCs,depend on the TF-DNA interplay.

BACKGROUND Methotrexate(MTX)is the usual first-line treatment for rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Long-term use of MTX has been associated with liver steatosis(LS)and liver fibrosis(LF).AIM To determine if LS in patients treated with MTX for RA is associated with MTX cumulative dose(MTX-CD),metabolic syndrome(Mt S),body mass index(BMI),the male sex,or *** A single-center,prospective study of patients receiving MTX for RA was performed from February 2019 to February *** inclusion criteria were patients aged 18 years or older diagnosed with RA by a rheumatologist and being treated with MTX(without limitation on the duration of treatment).The exclusion criteria were previous diagnosis of liver disease(hepatitis B or C virus infection,known nonalcoholic fatty liver disease),alcohol consumption greater than 60 g/d in males or 40 g/d in females,human immunodeficiency virus infection on antiretroviral therapy,diabetes mellitus,chronic renal failure,congestive heart failure,or BMI greater than 30 kg/m^(2).Patients receiving leflunomide in the 3 years prior to the study were also *** elastography(Fibro Scan,Echosens?,Paris,France)was used for fibrosis determination(LF>7 Kp A)and computer attenuation parameter(CAP)for LS(CAP>248 d B/m).Demographic variables,laboratory data,MTX-CD(>4000 mg),Mt S criteria,BMI(>25),transient elastography,and CAP scores were collected from all *** Fifty-nine patients were ***-three were female(72.88%),and the mean age was 61.52 years(standard deviation:11.73).When we compared MTX-CD≤4000 mg(26 patients;14 with LS and 12 without)with>4000 mg(33 patients;12 with LS and 21 without),no statistical differences were found(P=0.179).We compared CAP scores stratified by Mt S,BMI,sex,and *** were no significant differences in CAP scores based on the presence of Mt S[CAP/Mt S:50 no Mt S(84.75%);9 Mt S(15.25%);P=0.138],the male sex(CAP/sex:8 male/18 female LS;8 male/25 female no LS;P=0.576),or LF[CAP/fibrosis:

Benign intestinal tumors are the most frequent cause of small bowel intussusception in adults. This report presents a case of a 67-year-old male with abdominal pain, leukocytosis and C-reactive protein elevation. After ultrasonography and double contrast CT-scan consistent with ileal intussusception patient underwent laparoscopy, which confirmed diagnose. Intestinal resection and anastomosis were performed via minilaparotomy. Further histological study showed a fibroid inflammatory polyp or Vanek’s tumor as intussusception’s lead point.

Colorectal cancer （CRC） is one of the most common neoplasms and an important cause of mortality worldwide （http：//globocan. ***]）. Approximately 35% of the variation in CRC susceptibility is likely due to heritable factors （Lichtenstein et al., 2000}. Genetic variations in the human genome include single nucleotide variants （SNVs）, short insertions and deletions, and larger structural variants resulting in gain or loss of genomic DNA larger than 1 kb, such as copy number variants （CNVs）. Leaving aside the importance of CNVs in sporadic tumor development, these variants can also be present in the germline DNA of healthy individuals from the general population and be considered polymorphic.
