AIm To evaluate the liver regeneration capacity(LRC) after partial hepatectomy(PH) in experimental non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH).mETHODS Fifty-four female rats were fed a high-fat, high-cholesterol diet(HFCD, 65% fat, 1% cholesterol) or standard diet(STD) for 16 wk. A 70% PH was performed and the animals were euthanised before PH or 2 or 5 d postPH. most papers presented in this, the previous and thenext special issue of Integrative Zoology were presentedat the 3rd International Conference on Rodent Biologyand management (3rd ICRBm) that was held in earlyAugust in Hanoi, Vietnam 20061 . The conference attractedan international audience of 130 participants from35 countries and provided an opportunity for all participantsto refresh and update their knowledge of scientific,technical and extension developments in the field ofrodent biology. There were about 110 spoken papers andabout 50 posters. The three main themes of the conferencewere (1) rodent biology, (2) rodent ecology, and (3)rodent management.

背景在欧洲和中国进行Elecsys?胃泌素释放肽前体(ProGRP)免疫检测的多中心评估研究。方法在欧洲的3个中心和中国的2个中心,在肺癌中,通过不精密度、稳定性、方法学比较和鉴别诊断能力来评价该检测法。结果 5个分析物浓度的中间不精密度范围为变异系数:2.2%-6.0%。在不同储存条件下,血浆和血清样本均显示出良好的稳定性。在血浆中Elecsys?和ARCHITECT检测(斜率1.02,截距-2.72 pg/m L)之间表现出良好的相关性。同时,Elecsys?检测在血清和血浆样本之间表现出良好的相关性(斜率0.93,截距2.35 pg/m L;相关系数0.97)。ProGRP作为不受种族、年龄、性别或吸烟史相关影响的检测手段,可鉴别小细胞和非小细胞肺癌(NSCLC);截断值为84pg/m L时,曲线下面积为0.90,95%CI:0.87-0.93;敏感性为78.3%,特异性为95%。ProGRP浓度中位数在良性病变(38pg/m L)、其他恶性肿瘤(40 pg/m L)或NSCLC(39 pg/m L)中较低,而在3期以上慢性肾脏疾病中浓度较高(>100pg/m L)。结论 Elecsys?ProGRP检测在血清和血浆中稳定性增加,较现有检测法明显更具优势。ProGRP检测在中国的首次评价在不同种族中显示出相当的鉴别能力。

Knowledge about characteristics shared across known members of a protein family enables their identification within the complete set of proteins in an organism. Shared features are usually expressed through motifs, which can incorporate specific patterns and even amino acid (AA) biases. Based on a set of classification patterns and biases it can be determined which additional proteins may belong to a specific family and share its functionality. A bioinformatics tool (Prot-Class) was implemented to examine protein sequences and characterize them based upon user-defined AA composition percentages and user defined AA patterns. In addition the tool allows for the identification of repeated AA patterns, biased AA compositions within windows of user-defined length, and the characteristics of putative signal peptides and glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) lipid anchors. ProtClass is general purpose and can be applied to analyze protein sequences from any organism. The Prot-Class source code is available through the GNU General Public License v3 and can be accessed via the Google Code Repository: http://***/p/prot-class/.

Industry 4.0 and Cyber Physical Production Systems (CPPS) are often discussed and partially already sold. One important feature of CPPS is fault tolerance and as a consequence self-configuration and restart to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness. To understand this challenge at first the state of the art of fault handling in industrial automated production systems (aPS) is discussed as a result of a case study analysis in eight companies developing aPS. In the next step, metrics to evaluate the concept of self-configuration and restart for aPS focusing on real-time capabilities, fault coverage and effort to increase fault coverage are proposed. Finally, two different lab size case studies prove the applicability of the concepts of self-configuration, restart and the proposed metrics.

介绍了长波长光源的发展以及其在非线性光学以及强场物理方面的应用。长波长光源的产生以各种方式推动了强场和阿秒物理学的发展:在隧穿机制下光电离的研究,用于X射线成像的飞秒量级KeV辐射源的产生。考虑到这些前景,如何产生高能量、长波长以及周期量级的光源是一件非常有挑战性的工作。在过去几年,一直致力于产生和发展波长在2～3μm、载波相位稳定,周期量级的强光源,其重复频率从几千赫兹到百千赫兹。重点介绍这些光源的发展,以及脉冲相关测量的方法。此外,以某一种光源作为例子来介绍其在多倍频超连续谱的产生,分子的电离动力学以及阿秒光源生产等方面的应用。
