Skin is a complex ecosystem colonized by millions of microorganisms,including bacteria,fungi,and *** microbiota is believed to exert critical functions in maintaining host skin *** the structure of skin microbial community is the first step to overview the ***,the community composition is highly individualized and extremely *** explore the fundamental factors driving the complexity of the ecosystem,namely the selection pressures,we review the present studies on skin microbiome from the perspectives of *** review summarizes the following:(1)the composition of substances/nutrients in the cutaneous ecological environment that are derived from the host and the environment,highlighting their proposed function on skin microbiota;(2)the features of dominant skin commensals to occupy ecological niches,through self-adaptation and microbe–microbe interactions;(3)how skin microbes,by their structures or bioactive molecules,reshape host skin phenotypes,including skin immunity,maintenance of skin physiology such as pH and hydration,ultraviolet(UV)protection,odor production,and wound *** review aims to re-examine the host–microbe interactions from the ecological perspectives and hopefully to give new inspiration to this field.

Petaloid toenail, or accessory nail of the fifth toe, is a physical trait characterized by the presence of an additional tiny toenail on the small toe. Since it can occasionally cause disfigurement and tenderness while wearing tight shoes or walking, standard surgical matricectomy is often carried out to repair the petaloid toenail （Chi and Wang, 2004）. Chinese legends recorded petaloid toenails as a trait unique to Han Chinese （Gao, 2010）, but population- based studies are largely absent.

Hydrogen-powered electric aircraft have attracted significant interests aiming to achieve decarbonization *** DC electric networks are facing great challenges in DC fault protection *** interrupters are widely used in low voltage and medium voltage power systems due to being environmentally friendly with low *** this paper a moving coil actuator with compensation coils for a vacuum interrupter,as part of a hybrid direct current circuit breaker,is designed and experimentally *** coils are used to improve operating speed compared with original moving coil *** between four possible connections of compensation coils and original moving coil actuator are carried *** results show comparisons between different connections of actuator coils in terms of opening time and coil current with a range of pre-charged capacitor *** performance of each actuator connection is also *** actuator with compensation coils is shown to have a higher current rising rate and achieve faster opening speed,which is a critical requirement for electric aircraft network *** parallel connection actuator achieves the highest opening speed within 3.5 ms with capacitor voltage of 50 V.

Hiding secret data in digital multimedia has been essential to protect the ***,attackers with a steganalysis technique may break *** steganalysis methods have good results with conventional Machine Learning(ML)techniques;however,the introduction of Convolutional Neural Network(CNN),a deep learning paradigm,achieved better performance over the previously proposed ML-based *** the existing CNN-based approaches yield good results,they present performance issues in classification accuracy and stability in the network training *** research proposes a new method with a CNN architecture to improve the hidden data detection accuracy and the training phase stability in spatial domain *** proposed method comprises three phases:pre-processing,feature extraction,and ***,in the pre-processing phase,we use spatial rich model filters to enhance the noise within images altered by data hiding;secondly,in the feature extraction phase,we use two-dimensional depthwise separable convolutions to improve the signal-to-noise and regular convolutions to model local features;and finally,in the classification,we use multi-scale average pooling for local features aggregation and representability enhancement regardless of the input size variation,followed by three fully connected layers to form the final feature maps that we transform into class probabilities using the softmax *** results identify an improvement in the accuracy of the considered recent scheme ranging between 4.6 and 10.2%with reduced training time up to 30.81%.
