Ph.se transitions and magnetic properties of sh.pe-memory materials can be tailored by tuning th. size of th. constituent materials, such.as nanoparticles. h.wever, owing to th. lack of suitable synth.tic meth.ds for size-controlled h.usler nanoparticles, th.re is no report on th. size dependence of th.ir properties and functionalities. In th.s contribution, we present th. first ch.mical synth.sis of size-selected Co-Ni-Ga h.usler nanoparticles. We also report th. structure and magnetic properties of th. biph.sic Co-Ni-Ga nanoparticles with.sizes in th. range of 30-84 nm, prepared by a SBA-15 nanoporous silica- templated approach. Th. particle sizes could be readily tuned by controlling th. loading and concentration of th. precursors. Th. fractions and crystallite sizes of each.ph.se of th. Co-Ni-Ga nanoparticles are closely related to th.ir particle size. Enh.nced magnetization and decreased coercivity are observed with.increasing particle size. Th. Curie temperature （To） of th. Co-Ni-Ga nanoparticles also depends on th.ir size. Th. 84 nm-sized particles exh.bit th. h.gh.st Tc （≈ 1,174 K） among all known h.usler compounds. Th. very h.gh.Curie temperatures of th. Co-Ni-Ga nanoparticles render th.m promising candidates for application in h.gh.temperature sh.pe memory alloy-based devices.

Background Sph.ngosine-1-ph.sph.te lyase insufficiency syndrome(SPLIS)or neph.otic syndrome type-14 is caused by biallelic mutations in ***,we conducted a systematic review to delineate th. ch.racteristics of SPLIS *** A literature search.was performed in PubMed,Web of Science,and Scopus databases,and eligible studies were *** all patients,demograph.c,clinical,laboratory,and molecular data were collected and *** Fifty-five SPLIS patients(54.9%male,45.1%female)were identified in 19 *** consanguinity and positive family h.story were reported in 70.9%and 52.7%of patients,*** patients(54.9%)primarily manifested with.n th. first year of life,nearly h.lf of wh.m survived,wh.le all patients with.a prenatal diagnosis of SPLIS(27.5%)died at a median[interquartile(IQR)]age of 2(1.4–5.3)month.(P=0.003).Th. most prevalent clinical feature was endocrinopath.es,including primary adrenal insufficiency(PAI)(71.2%)and h.poth.roidism(32.7%).Kidney disorders(42,80.8%)were mainly in th. form of steroid-resistant neph.otic syndrome(SRNS)and progressed to end-stage kidney disease(ESKD)in 19(36.5%)patients at a median(IQR)age of 6(1.4–42.6)*** 30 different mutations in SGPL1,th. most common was c.665G>A(***222Gln)in 11(20%)***-six(49.1%)patients with.available outcome were deceased at a median(IQR)age of 5(1.5–30.5)month.,mostly following ESKD(23%)or sepsis/septic sh.ck(23%).Conclusion In patients with.PAI and/or SRNS,SGPL1 sh.uld be added to diagnostic genetic panels,wh.ch.can provide an earlier diagnosis of SPLIS and prevention of ESKD and oth.r life-th.eatening complications.
