Aquaporin-4-IgG-seropositive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders:progress of experimental models based on disease pathogenesis

Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders are neuroinflammatory demyelinating disorders that lead to permanent visual loss and motor *** date,no effective treatment exists as the exact causative mechanism remains ***,experimental models of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders are essential for exploring its pathogenesis and in screening for therapeutic *** most patients with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders are seropositive for IgG autoantibodies against aquaporin-4,which is highly expressed on the membrane of astrocyte endfeet,most current experimental models are based on aquaporin-4-IgG that initially targets *** experimental models have successfully simulated many pathological features of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders,such as aquaporin-4 loss,astrocytopathy,granulocyte and macrophage infiltration,complement activation,demyelination,and neuronal loss;however,they do not fully capture the pathological process of human neuromyelitis optica spectrum *** this review,we summarize the currently known pathogenic mechanisms and the development of associated experimental models in vitro,ex vivo,and in vivo for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders,suggest potential pathogenic mechanisms for further investigation,and provide guidance on experimental model *** addition,this review summarizes the latest information on pathologies and therapies for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders based on experimental models of aquaporin-4-IgG-seropositive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders,offering further therapeutic targets and a theoretical basis for clinical trials.

Regulated cell death is a form of cell death that is actively controlled by *** studies have shown that regulated cell death plays a key role after spinal cord *** and ferroptosis are newly discovered types of regulated cell deaths that have been shown to exacerbate inflammation and lead to cell death in damaged spinal ***,a complex form of cell death that is interconnected with various regulated cell death mechanisms,has garnered significant attention in the study of spinal cord *** injury triggers not only cell death but also cellular survival *** signaling pathways play pivotal roles in influencing the processes of both deterioration and repair in spinal cord injury by regulating pyroptosis,ferroptosis,and ***,this review aims to comprehensively examine the mechanisms underlying regulated cell deaths,the signaling pathways that modulate these mechanisms,and the potential therapeutic targets for spinal cord *** analysis suggests that targeting the common regulatory signaling pathways of different regulated cell deaths could be a promising strategy to promote cell survival and enhance the repair of spinal cord ***,a holistic approach that incorporates multiple regulated cell deaths and their regulatory pathways presents a promising multi-target therapeutic strategy for the management of spinal cord injury.

A surface engineering strategy for the stabilization of zinc metal anodes with montmorillonite layers toward long-life rechargeable aqueous zinc ion batteries

Rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries （AZIBs） exhibit appreciable potential in the domain of electrochemical energy ***,there are serious challenges for AZIBs,for instance zinc dendrite growth,hydrogen evolution reaction （HER）,and corrosion side ***,we propose a surface engineering modification strategy for coating the montmorillonite （MMT） layer onto the surface of the Zn anode to tackle these issues,thereby achieving high cycling stability for rechargeable *** results reveal that the MMT layer on the surface of the Zn anode is able to provide ordered zincophilic channels for zinc ions migration,facilitating the reaction kinetics of zinc *** functional theory（DFT） calculations and water contact angle （CA） tests prove that MMT@Zn anode exhibits superior adsorption capacity for Zn2+and better hydrophobicity than the bare Zn anode,thereby achieving excellent cycling ***,the MMT@Zn||MMT@Zn symmetric cell holds the stable cycling over 5600 h at 0.5 mA cm-2and 0.125 m A h cm-2,even exceeding 1800 h long cycling under harsh conditions of 5 m A cm-2and 1.25 m A h *** MMT@Zn||V2O5full cell reaches over 3000 cycles at 2 A g-1with excellent rate ***,this surface engineering modification strategy for enhancing the electrochemical performance of AZIBs represents a promising application.

Multi-model ensemble learning for battery state-of-health estimation:Recent advances and perspectives

The burgeoning market for lithium-ion batteries has stimulated a growing need for more reliable battery performance monitoring. Accurate state-of-health(SOH) estimation is critical for ensuring battery operational performance. Despite numerous data-driven methods reported in existing research for battery SOH estimation, these methods often exhibit inconsistent performance across different application scenarios. To address this issue and overcome the performance limitations of individual data-driven models,integrating multiple models for SOH estimation has received considerable attention. Ensemble learning(EL) typically leverages the strengths of multiple base models to achieve more robust and accurate outputs. However, the lack of a clear review of current research hinders the further development of ensemble methods in SOH estimation. Therefore, this paper comprehensively reviews multi-model ensemble learning methods for battery SOH estimation. First, existing ensemble methods are systematically categorized into 6 classes based on their combination strategies. Different realizations and underlying connections are meticulously analyzed for each category of EL methods, highlighting distinctions, innovations, and typical applications. Subsequently, these ensemble methods are comprehensively compared in terms of base models, combination strategies, and publication trends. Evaluations across 6 dimensions underscore the outstanding performance of stacking-based ensemble methods. Following this, these ensemble methods are further inspected from the perspectives of weighted ensemble and diversity, aiming to inspire potential approaches for enhancing ensemble performance. Moreover, addressing challenges such as base model selection, measuring model robustness and uncertainty, and interpretability of ensemble models in practical applications is emphasized. Dirhodium(II) complexes have achieved great success in organic synthesis,and fine-tuning their catalytic properties with various bridging ligands is well-investigated in carbene ***,combining dirhodium(II) with a sophisticated ligand as a catalyst in other reactions is still extremely challenging,especially for the asymmetric synthesis of valuable chiral ***,we report a dirhodium(II)/(S)-MeO-BIPHEP catalytic system for the challenging asymmetric β-alkenylation of α,β-unsaturated aldehydes,affording the corresponding chiral conjugate addition products in good yields with high enantioselectivities.A couple of drug-derived substrates were also compatible with the protocol,which has been successfully used to prepare biologically relevant pyranochromene *** mechanistic studies suggested that the dirhodium core might remain intact over the catalytic cycle,and the chiral diphosphine ligand plays a key role in this novel reactivity and determining the high enantioselectivities of the asymmetric conjugate addition.

Interfacial Zn2+-solvation regulator towards reversible and stable Zn anode

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries （AZIBs） are fundamentally challenged by the instability of the electrode/electrolyte interface,predominantly due to irreversible zinc （Zn） deposition and hydrogen ***,the intricate mechanisms behind the electrochemical discrepancies induced by interfacial Zn2+-solvation and deposition behavior demand comprehensive *** molecules endowed with special functional groups （such as hydroxyl,carboxyl,etc.） have the potential to significantly optimize the solvation structure of Zn2+and regulate the interfacial electric double layer （EDL）.By increasing nucleation overpotential and decreasing interfacial free energy,these functional groups facilitate a lower critical nucleation radius,thereby forming an asymptotic nucleation model to promote uniform Zn ***,this study presents a pioneering approach by introducing trace amounts of n-butanol as solvation regulators to engineer the homogenized Zn （H-Zn） anode with a uniform and dense *** interfacial reaction and structure evolution are explored by in/ex-situ experimental techniques,indicating that the H-Zn anode exhibits dendrite-free growth,no by-products,and weak hydrogen evolution,in sharp contrast to the bare ***,the H-Zn anode achieves a remarkable Zn utilization rate of approximately 20% and simultaneously sustains a prolonged cycle life exceeding 500 ***,the H-Zn//NH4V4O10（NVO） full battery showcases exceptional cycle stability,retaining 95.04%capacity retention after 400 cycles at a large current density of 5 A *** study enlightens solvation-regulated additives to develop Zn anode with superior utilization efficiency and extended operational lifespan.

管理实践中,员工在经历了领导者的辱虐管理后仍可能采取对领导者的关系经营行为。本文针对这一现象,顺应探究辱虐管理积极影响的研究趋势,从矛盾关系认同的视角构建了在领导者专业能力调节下,辱虐管理通过矛盾关系认同影响员工关系经营的两阶段调节中介模型。矛盾关系认同指个体在关系层面进行自我定义时产生的矛盾认知与情感,表现为个体既愿意又排斥以这段关系定义自己。这种源于对重要他人在互动中表现的不一致评估能激发个体采取应对不适感的行为。基于对专业知识员工及其同事的334份匹配调研数据,研究发现:领导者专业能力正向调节辱虐管理对矛盾关系认同的影响;领导者专业能力正向调节矛盾关系认同对关系经营的影响;领导者专业能力正向调节辱虐管理通过矛盾关系认同对关系经营的间接影响,即当且仅当领导者专业能力较强时,辱虐管理能够通过矛盾关系认同激发员工的关系经营。研究主要扩展了辱虐管理带来积极组织行为结果的机制类型。

A low redox potential and long life organic anode material for sodium-ion batteries

Sodium-ion batteries （SIBs） with organic electrodes are an emerging research direction due to the sustainability of organic materials based on elements like C,H,O,and sodium ***,organic electrode materials for SIBs are mainly used as cathodes because of their relatively high redox potentials（>1 V）.Organic electrodes with low redox potential that can be used as anode are ***,a novel organic anode material （tetrasodium 1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxylate,Na4TDC） has been developed with low redox potential （ng a high capacity of 208 mAh/g and an average decay rate of merely 0.022%per ***,the Na4TDC-hard carbon composite can further acquire improved capacity and cycling stability for 1200 cycles even with a high mass loading of up to 20 mg *** pairing with a thick Na3V2（PO4）3cathode (20.6 mg cm-2),the as-fabricated full cell exhibited high operating voltage （2.8 V）,excellent rate performance and cycling stability with a high capacity retention of 88.7% after 200 cycles,well highlighting the Na4TDC anode material for SIBs.

Deciphering the role of ultra-low-loaded rhodium in NiFe-MIL-53 for superior oxygen evolution reaction

Designing highly active and stable electrocatalysts of oxygen evolution reaction （OER） is one of the crucial *** this study,a novel OER electrocatalyst,NiFe-MIL-53 modified with ultra-low rhodium（Rh@NiFe-MIL-53）,is successfully prepared via the hydrothermal ***-situ Raman spectroscopy and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy reveal that the doped Rh accelerates the phase transformation of NiFe-MIL-53 and the in-situ formed Rh@NiFeOOH is the actual active *** importantly,the enhanced reversibility of electrochemical reconstruction between NiFeOOH and NiFe（OH）2after doping Rh is beneficial for improving the electrochemical stability of the catalyst.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy spectra show the strong electronic interaction between single-atom Rh and Ni/Fe in Rh@***,theoretical calculations confirm that the integration of single-atom Rh into the NiFeOOH successfully reduces the band gap,regulates the d-band center （εd）,accelerates the charge transfer,and optimizes the adsorption behavior of oxygen-containing intermediates,thereby lowering the energy barrier of rate-determining ***,the optimized Rh@NiFe-MIL-53 exhibits excellent OER activity （240 mV） with a small Tafel slope of 48.2 mV dec-1and long-term durability (over1270 h at 10 m A cm-2and 110 h at 200 mA cm-2).This work presents a new perspective on designing highly efficient OER electrocatalysts.

16.48% Efficient solution-processed CIGS solar cells with crystal growth and defects engineering enabled by Ag doping strategy

Solution-processed Cu（In,Ga）Se2（CIGS） solar cells suffer from serious carrier recombination and power conversion efficiency（PCE） loss because of the poor film properties and easy formation of ***, we propose Ag&Se co-selenization strategy to enhance the crystallization and passivate harmful defects of the CIGS films. The formation of Ag-Se phase during the selenization process enables the formation of large grains and suppresses the deep level defects. It is found that Ag doping can enlarge the depletion region width, lower the Urbach energy and prolong the carrier lifetime. As a result, a champion solution-processed CIGS solar cell presents a high efficiency of 16.48% with the highly improved opencircuit voltage（VOC） of 662 m V and fill factor（FF） of 75.8%. This work provides an efficient strategy to prepare high quality solution-processed CIGS films for high-performance CIGS solar cells.
