novel dyestuff polymers were successfully obtained through oxidative polymerization technique. The synthesized Schiff base and its polymer were soluble in alkaline＇aqueous medium and they have various colors in different solutions. Also, it can be said that the synthesized compounds are suitable as coloring agent （dyestuff） for textile applications. Fluorescence properties of the compounds were determined in DMF with different concentrations （mg/L）. Poly-tris（4- aminophenyl）methanol （P-TAPM） has quite high emission and excitation intensity values. Optical and electrochemical band gaps of the polymers were lower than those of the monomers indicating the more conjugated structure of the polymers. The oxidized states of the novel dyestuff compounds were examined by cyclic voltammetry （CV） technique. The solid state conductivity measurements showed that the synthesized polymers were semiconductors when exposed to the iodine vapour their conductivities could be increased. P-TAPM had the highest undoped conductivity. Thermal characterizations of the synthesized compounds were carried out by TG-DTA and DSC methods.

Landslides are quite common natural hazards in the eastern Black Sea region of nE *** the heavy rainfall in the K?prülü(Rize)village settlement area,located in this region where the slope debris overlies the agglomerates,a failure *** to the developed tension cracks and deformations on the ground,houses,tea gardens,and roads were damaged *** figure out the causes and mechanism of the sliding and to suggest the precautions,a detailed geotechnical study was carried *** the five survey lines,twelve boreholes were drilled with a total depth of 300 ***,the geophysical surveys on ten profiles were conducted and the inclinometer measurements were taken in five *** and disturbed samples were collected and laboratory experiments were *** measurements indicated that the sliding started in the slope debris and then spread to the agglomeratic *** slope stability was examined using the limit equilibrium(LE)and finite element(FEM)analysis *** results of the slope stability analyses showed that the failure mode is talus slide with composite shape and outputs coincide with the inclinometer monitoring *** on the collected data,it is determined that there will be unavoidable engineering problems if no precautions are *** of the negative reasons which make the application of supporting methods meaningless in the study area,it is considered that transferring the residences to a safer place without risk of natural hazards will be economical and reliable.

Arctic sea-ice extent reaches its minimum each year in September. On 11 September 2023 the minimum was 4.969 million square kilometers(***^(2)). This was not a record low, which occurred in 2012, when the minimum was 4.175 ***^(2), 0.794 ***^(2) less than the minimum in 2023. However, the ice extent had decreased by 0.432 ***^(2) compared with 2022. nevertheless, the summer melting in 2023 was remarkably less than expected when considering the strong heat waves in the atmosphere and ocean, with record temperatures set around the world. in general, there is a high correlation between the long-term decrease in sea-ice extent and the increasing CO_(2) in the atmosphere, where the increase of CO_(2) in recent decades explains about 80% of the decrease in sea ice in September, while the remainder is caused by natural variability.

Au/n-Si （MS） structures with a high dielectric interlayer （0.03 graphene-doped PVA） are fabricated to investigate the illumination and voltage effects on electrical and dielectric properties by using capacitance-voltage （C-V） and conductance-voltage （G/w-V） measurements at room temperature and at 1 MHz. Some of the main electrical parameters such as concentration of doping atoms （nD）, barrier height （ ФB（ C - V））, depletion layer width （WD） and series resistance （Rs） show fairly large illumination dispersion. The voltage-dependent profile of surface states （nss） and resistance of the structure （Ri ） are also obtained by using the dark-illumination capacitance （Cdark- Cm） and nicollian-Brews methods, respectively, For a clear observation of changes in electrical parameters with illumination, the values of nD, WD, ФB（O- V） and Rs are drawn as a function of illumination intensity. The values of nD and WD change almost linearly with illumination intensity. On the other hand, Rs decreases almost exponentially with increasing illumination intensity whereas ФB（C - V） increases. The experimental results suggest that the use of a high dielectric interlayer （0.03 graphene-doped PVA） considerably passivates or reduces the magnitude of the surface states. The large change or dispersion in main electrical parameters can be attributed to generation of electron-hole pairs in the junction under illumination and to a good light absorption. All of these experimental results confirm that the fabricated Au/0.03 graphene-doped PVA/n-Si structure can be used as a photodiode or a capacitor in optoelectronic applications.

This study investigates the effect of aluminium oxide nanoparticlesaddition to biodiesel blends made from dairy milk scum on performance and combustion characteristics of the diesel *** dispersion of Al2O3nanoparticles in B20 blends at different concentrations was done with the help of *** number of blends were prepared for the *** Machine learning algorithms(Random Forest（RF）and CatBoost) was used for the *** results show that in comparison to biodiesel blends without nanoparticles,the kinematic viscosity and density is higher for fuel blends with *** these Fuel blends have higher calorific *** blends exhibited reduced Brake Specific Fuel Consumption（BSFC） of2.85% than the blends without nano particles(Dairy Scum Methyl Ester Biodiesel 20%+neat Diesel 80%（in volume）,DSMEB20),57.14% less CO,40.8% less hydrocarbon,and increased nOxemissions compared to conventional diesel,contributing to the development of environmentally friendly and renewable biofuel blends with *** B20nP30 is the optimal blend for performance and emission *** study concludes with findings on enhanced Brake Thermal Efficiency（BTE） of 26.29% in 3×10-5（in volume） Al2O3nanoparticle-blended DSME B20 and other DSME B20 fuel blends,emphasizing the importance of optimal nanoparticle *** correlation matrix shows how engine load,efficiency measures（BTE,BSFC）,and emissions（CO,CO2,nOx,Smoke） are connected in complex *** results help us understand the complicated dynamics of engine performance and emission characteristics ***'s diagram for BTE and BSFC shows that CatBoost-based BTE models perform superior to RF-based models during the training as well as testing *** results were obtained for CO and CO2emission results.

The perylene （C20H12） layer effect on the electrical and dielectric properties of Al/p-Si （MS） and Al/perylene/p-Si （MPS） diodes have been investigated and compared in the frequency range of 0.7 kHz-2 MHz. Experimental results show that C-V characteristics give an anomalous peak for two structures at low frequencies due to interface states （nss） and series resistance （Rs）. The increases in C and G/o3 at low frequencies confirm that the charges at interface can easily follow an ac signal and yield excess capacitance and conductance. The frequency-dependent dielectric constant （er） and dielectric loss （e＇） are subtracted using C and G/co data at 1.5 V. The ei and e＂ values are found to be strongly dependent on frequency and voltage, and their large values at low frequencies can be attributed to the excess polarization coming from charges at traps. Plots of ln（o＇ac）-ln（w） for two structures have two linear regions, with slopes of 0.369 and 1.166 for MS, and of 0.077 and 1.061 for MPS, respectively. From the C 2-V characteristics, the doping acceptor atom concentration （nA） and barrier height （,~） for Schottky barrier diodes （SBDs） 1.303 ~ 1015 cm-3, and 1.10 and i. 13 eV, respectively. of MS and MPS types are also obtained to be 1.484 ~ 1015

This study aims to investigate the effect of sodium replacement on the quality characteristics of pastı*** this purpose,pastırma production with four different salt mixtures(Ⅰ.100%naCl;Ⅱ.50%naCl+50%KCl;Ⅲ.40%naCl+40%KCl+20%CaCl_(2);Ⅳ.30%naCl+40%KCl+20%CaCl_(2)+10%MgCl_(2))were carried out using traditional *** use of different salt mixtures for pastırma had no statistically significant effect on the microbial counts and residual nitrite of the final *** a*and b*values were affected by this *** salt mixture containing CaCl_(2) or CaCl_(2)+MgCl_(2) significantly decreased the pH values and sensory *** eighteen volatile compounds were affected by the salt ***^(+),K^(+),Ca^(2+),and Mg^(2+)had a certain increase depending on their ratio in the salt *** highest Cathepsin activity in all pastırma samples was observed in Cathepsin B+*** salt mixture with naCl+KCl+CaCl_(2)+MgCl_(2) increased acid lipase ***,this mixture had no significant effect on neutral lipase activity.
