Multilayer gallium and aluminum doped ZnO （GZO/AZO） films were fabricated by alternative deposition of Ga-doped zinc oxide（GZO） and Al-doped zinc oxide（AZO） thin film by using pulsed laser deposition（PLD） process. The electrical and optical properties of these GZO/AZO thin films were investigated and compared with those of GZO and AZO thin films. The GZO/AZO （1：1） thin film deposited at 400 ~C shows the electrical resistivity of 4.18 x 10 4 ~.cm, an electron concentration of 7.5 x 1020/cm3, and carrier mobility of 25.4 cm2/（V.s）. The optical transmittances of GZO/AZO thin films are over 85%. The optical band gap energy of GZO/AZO thin films linearly decreases with increasing the AI ratio.

In this paper, we propose a miniaturized tadpole-like robot using an electromagnetic oscillatory actuator. The electro- magnetic actuator has a simple structure with a moving-magnet type and the body size is 13 mm （length） × 11 mm （height） ×10 mm （width）. A tail has the thickness of 100 μm and the length of 20 mm which is twice of the body-length （BL）. The tail attached to the oscillatory actuator generates undulatory propulsion for the forward swimming. Moreover, the tadpole robot enables the change of the direction by controlling input signal pattems applied to the oscillatory actuator. Prototypes of the tadpole robot have been manufactured and the thrust force and swimming speed are measured to evaluate the performance of the biomimetic robot in water at various tail-beat frequencies. The maximum thrust force is 42 mN at the tail-beat frequency of 30 Hz with voltage of 3 V, enabling the tadpole robot to swim at the speed of 210 mm·s^-1 （6 BL·s^-1）. The tadpole robot can also change its moving direction with the angular velocity of 21 deg·s^-1 at the half pulse pattem of 30 Hz.

Lithofacies modeling by multipoint statistics and economic evaluation by NPV volume for the early Cretaceous Wabiskaw Member in Athabasca oilsands area, Canada

The static modeling and dynamic simulation are essential and critical processes in petroleum exploration and development. In this study, lithofacies models for Wabiskaw Member in Athabasca, Canada are generated by multipoint statistics(MPS) and then compared with the models built by sequential indicator simulation(SIS). Three training images(Tls) are selected from modern depositional environments;the Orinoco River Delta estuary, Cobequid bay-Salmon River estuary, and Danube River delta environment. In order to validate lithofacies models, average and variance of similarity in lithofacies are calculated through random and zonal blind-well *** random six-blind-well test, similarity average of MPS models is higher than that of SIS model. The Salmon MPS model closely resembles facies pattern of Wabiskaw Member in subsurface. Zonal blind-well tests show that successful lithofacies modeling for transitional depositional setting requires additional or proper zonation information on horizontal variation, vertical proportion, and secondary *** Wabiskaw Member is frontier oilsands lease, it is impossible to evaluate the economics from production data or dynamic simulation. In this study, a dynamic steam assisted gravity drainage(SAGD)performance indicator(SPIDER) on the basis of reservoir characteristics is calculated to build 3 D reservoir model for the evaluation of the SAGD feasibility in Wabiskaw Member. SPIDER depends on reservoir properties, economic limit of steam-oil ratio, and bitumen price. Reservoir properties like porosity,permeability, and water saturation are measured from 13 cores and calculated from 201 well-logs. Three dimensional volumes of reservoir properties are constructed mostly based on relationships among properties. Finally, net present value(NPV) volume can be built by equation relating NPV and SPIDER. Biomaterial-based drug delivery systems have been developed to expedite cartilage regeneration;however,challenges related to drug recovery,validation,and efficient drug delivery *** instance,compound K(CK)is a major metabolite of ginsenosides that is known to protect against joint degeneration by inhibiting the production of inflammatory cytokines and the activation of immune ***,its effects on cartilage degradation and tissue regeneration remain ***,tissue-adhesive drug delivery depots that stably adhere to cartilage defects are required for CK *** this study,CK-loaded adhesive patches were reported to seal cartilage defects and deliver CK to defect sites,preventing cartilage degradation and accelerating cartilage tissue *** patches are stable and suitable for application in surgical procedures under physiological conditions and show excellent adhesiveness to cartilage *** addition,there were no significant differences in the adhesive polymeric networks before and after CK ***-loaded hydrocaffeic acid-conjugated chitosan patches significantly inhibited the stimulation of cartilage-degrading enzymes and apoptosis in osteoarthritic cartilage by releasing CK in cartilage ***,the NFkB signaling pathway of released CK from the adhesive patches in the treatment of osteoarthritis is ***,the CK-loaded adhesive patches are expected to significantly contribute to cartilage regeneration.

Is the filamentary dark cloud GF 6 a star forming region?--Stability analysis and infrared properties

We present the results of mapping observations and stability analyses toward the filamentary dark cloud GF 6. We investigate the internal structures of a typical filamentary dark cloud GF 6 to know whether the filamentary dark cloud will form stars. We perform radio observations with both 12CO（J =1–0） and 13CO（J =1–0） emission lines to examine the mass distribution and its evolutionary *** 13CO gas column density map shows eight subclumps in the GF 6 region with sizes on a sub-pc scale. The resulting local thermodynamic equilibrium masses of all the subclumps are too low to form stars against the turbulent dissipation. We also investigate the properties of embedded infrared point sources to know whether they are newly formed stars. The infrared properties also indicate that these point sources are not related to star forming activities associated with GF 6. Both radio and infrared properties indicate that the filamentary dark cloud GF 6 is too light to contract gravitationally and will eventually be dissipated away.

Recently,artiﬁcial-intelligence-based automatic customer response sys-tem has been widely used instead of customer service ***,it is important for automatic customer service to promptly recognize emotions in a customer’s voice to provide the appropriate service ***,we analyzed the performance of the emotion recognition(ER)accuracy as a function of the simulation time using the proposed chunk-based speech ER(CSER)*** proposed CSER model divides voice signals into 3-s long chunks to efﬁ-ciently recognize characteristically inherent emotions in the customer’s *** evaluated the performance of the ER of voice signal chunks by applying four RNN techniques—long short-term memory(LSTM),bidirectional-LSTM,gated recurrent units(GRU),and bidirectional-GRU—to the proposed CSER model individually to assess its ER accuracy and time efﬁ*** results reveal that GRU shows the best time efﬁciency in recognizing emotions from speech signals in terms of accuracy as a function of simulation time.

The electrical properties of solder contact layers between Cu-Ni shunt metal and tube type Bi2212 superconductor that is applied in superconducting fault current limiter were *** contact properties of the solders are improved not only by Ag precoating layers,but also by the pre-sprayed Ag layer and subsequent Ag precoating *** annealed Ag sprayed layers onto Bi2212 superconductor prior to Ag electroplating work as protecting layers for the superconductor from plating *** contact angle of the electroplated Ag layer is 42.91° and decreases to 15.25° and 5.88° with Ag sprayed layer and additional Ag electroplated *** Ag sprayed layer with suitable annealing prior to Ag electroplating improves contact strength of the Ag electroplated layer by about 12% due to denser microstructure of the Ag electroplated layers.

We introduce a new integrable model to investigate the dynamics of two component quasi-particle condensates with spatiotemporal interaction strengths. We derive the associated Lax pair of the coupled Gross-Pitaevskii （GP） equation and construct matter wave solitons, We show that the spatiotemporal binary interaction strengths not only facilitate the stabilization of the condensates, but also enables one to fabricate condensates with desirable densities, geometries, and properties, leading to the so-called ＂designer quasi-particle condensates＂.

A facile approach was demonstrated for fabricating high-performance nonvolatile memory devices based on ferroelectric-gate field effect transistors using a p-type Si nanowire coated with omega-shaped gate organic ferroelectric poly(vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene)(P(VDF-Tr FE)). We overcame the interfacial layer problem by incorporating P(VDF-Tr FE) as a ferroelectric gate using a low-temperature fabrication process. Our memory devices exhibited excellent memory characteristics with a low programming voltage of ±5 V, a large modulation in channel conductance between ON and OFF states exceeding 105, a long retention time greater than 3 9 104 s, and a high endurance of over 105 programming cycles while maintaining an ION/IOFFratio higher than 102.

BACKGROUND Liposarcoma is one of the most common adult mesenchymal tumors but is uncommon in the gastrointestinal tract and extremely rare in the ***,the histological subtypes of liposarcoma usually reported in the stomach are well-differentiated or myxoid,and few reports have been issued on small-sized gastric liposarcomas resected endoscopically and followed ***,we report a case of primary gastric dedifferentiated liposarcoma(DL)that was resected *** SUMMARY A 67-year-old female Korean patient was referred to our institution for further evaluation of a gastric submucosal tumor(SMT)located in the lesser curvature of the gastric body by *** ultrasound revealed a well-circumscribed,slightly heterogeneous,isoechoic,17 mm×10 mm sized mass originating from the third sonographic *** tomography showed no evidence of significant lymph node enlargement or distant *** resection was undertaken using the snare resection technique after mucosal precutting to provide a definitive histopathologic diagnosis,which proved to be consistent with DL,based on its morphology and the immunoexpressions of MDM2 and *** patient was planned for surgery because the deep resection margin was positive for *** declining any invasive procedure or adjuvant treatment,the patient was placed under close follow-up,and at one year after endoscopic resection,remained disease *** This is the first reported case of a small primary gastric DL resected endoscopically and followed *** report demonstrates that when diagnosis of a SMT is uncertain,the use of invasive techniques,including endoscopic resection,should be considered.
