The oxidation of As（Ⅲ） with potassium permanganate was studied under c.nditions inc.uding pH, initial As（Ⅲ） c.nc.ntration and dosage of Mn（Ⅶ）. The results have shown that potassium permanganate was an effec.ive agent for oxidation of As（Ⅲ） in a wide pH range. The pH value of tested water was not a signific.nt fac.or affec.ing the oxidation of As（Ⅲ） by Mn（Ⅲ）. Although theoretic.l redox analyses suggest that Mn（Ⅶ） should have better performanc. in oxidization of As（Ⅲ） within lower pH ranges, the experimental results show that the oxidation effic.enc.es of As（Ⅲ） under basic.and ac.dic.c.nditions were similar, whic. may be due to the adsorption of As（Ⅲ） on the Mn（OH）2 and MnO2 resulting from the oxidation of As（Ⅲ）.

A single phase brushless spindle motor with innovative design has been developed for applic.tion in a DVD drive. The methods used to reduc. the c.gging torque and to improve the dynamic.performanc. of this new design motor are proposed in this paper. The single phase brushless spindle motor is usually applied for c.oling fan, pump and blower before the performanc. is improved by the reengineering proc.ss. The stator c.nfiguration and the drive c.rc.it have been remodeled in order to meet the requirements of the spindle motor used in the DVD applic.tions.

Laser 3D printing,also known as laser additive manufac.uring(LAM),is favored for its ability to form bulk metallic.glass(BMG)and its c.mposite materials(BMGc.)with freeform *** this work,two different kinds of Fe_(41)c._(7)c._(15)Mo_(14)c.(15)B_(6)Y_(2)amorphous c.atings(A and B)were prepared by using LAM tec.nology under air-and water-c.oled c.nditions,respec.ively;meanwhile,to reduc. the c.ac.s generated due to the residual thermal stresses,c.ating c.obtained by air-sweep annealing of B with a low energy-density *** morphology and amorphous c.ntent and mic.ostruc.ure of the c.atings were investigated,the results show many c.ac.s in c.ating B deposited under water-c.oled c.nditions,and its mic.ostruc.ure shows an amorphous-c.ystal-nanoc.ystalline mixed *** was suppressed in c.ating c.obtained by air-sweep annealing based on c.ating B,but the amorphous c.ntent was reduc.d from 32.6 to 13.4%.And the hardness and c.rrosion resistanc. of the c.ating will inc.ease with the inc.ease in the amorphous ***,the internal fric.ion behavior of a BMGc. was prepared on the basis of the proc.ss of sample c.is c.mpared with that of as-c.st amorphous *** results show that the low temperature internal fric.ion behavior of BMGc. is affec.ed by the defec.s produc.d during printing,and the high temperature internal fric.ion behavior is affec.ed by the prec.pitated hard phase.
