Herein,a physical and mathematical model of the voltage−current characteristics of a p−n heterostructure with quantum wells(QWs)is prepared using the Sah−Noyce−Shockley(SNS)recombination mechanism to show the SNS recombination rate of the correction function of the distribution of QWs in the space charge region of diode configuration.A comparison of the model voltage−current characteristics(VCCs)with the experimental ones reveals their *** technological parameters of the structure of the VCC model are determined experimentally using a nondestructive capacitive approach for determining the impurity distribution profile in the active region of the diode structure with a profile depth resolution of up to 10Å.The correction function in the expression of the recombination rate shows the possibility of determining the derivative of the VCCs of structures with QWs with a nonideality factor of up to 4.

in recent decades, a lot of research has been conducted to explore poultry feeding behavior. However, up to now, the processes behind poultry feeding behavior remain poorly understood. The review generalizes modern expertise about the hormonal regulation of feeding behavior in chickens, focusing on signaling pathways mediated by insulin, leptin, and ghrelin and regulatory pathways with a cross-reference to mammals. This overview also summarizes state-of-the-art research devoted to hypothalamic neuropeptides that control feed intake and are prime candidates for predictors of feeding *** analysis of the signaling pathways that mediate the feed intake regulation allowed us to conclude that there are major differences in the processes by which hormones influence specific neuropeptides and their contrasting roles in feed intake control between two vertebrate clades.

单摆作为物理学和工程学经典案例,在相关学科领域得到广泛应用。以单摆运动的控制方程为起点,深入研究单摆周期的数学表达,引入第一类椭圆积分,得到大摆角单摆系统的周期精确表达式,这一结果提供了一种精确计算单摆运动周期的途径。通过采用泰勒级数展开处理第一类椭圆积分,得到显式表达式,并分别对精确解公式与级数解公式的数值计算结果进行对比。利用曲线图直观展示了两种计算方法所得结果的差异,并能清晰地看到在不同摆角情况下周期的变化趋势,揭示了小摆度和大角度下的单摆运动之间的关键差异。

Geothermal Model of the Fore-Yenisey Sedimentary Basin——Transitional Structure between the Ancient Siberian Platform and the Young West Siberian Plate

Results of the investigation into the geothermal regime of the Fore-Yenisey sedimentary basin, formed during the collision and subsidence of the Kas-Turukhan microcontinent and the western margin of the Siberian craton in the late Neoproterozoic and early Paleozoic are reported. it was established that the structural and geothermal conditions of the upper Precambrian–Paleozoic sections are similar to those in the western regions of the Siberian platform and are characterized by rather low geothermal gradients(12.5–25.5 ℃/km). in the western parts of the basin, formation temperatures in the uppermost pre-Jurassic sediments are 50℃–85℃, decreasing eastward to 30℃–55℃. For the first time, the detailed geothermal model of the basin sedimentary fill was developed. This model allows predictions of the geothermal conditions of Earth’s interior.

Soil respiration studies in paludified forests of the European part of Russia are quite rare in comparison with those of open peat bogs,which make long-term observations in this region highly *** this study,soil CO2 emissions were measured by the close chamber method in different microlandscapes of paludified *** four summer seasons with different environments,soil respiration ranged from 1078 to 248 mg CO2 m^-2 h^-1 in a paludified spruce forest site with coarse woody debris to 659–820 mg CO2 m^-2 h^-1 in a paludified boggy pine *** most intensive soil respiration was observed during the hot summer of 2013 and the lowest in the hot and humid summer of *** total soil CO2 emissions in paludified forests in 2015–2016 were approximately 2000–3000 g CO2 *** the year,the lowest CO2 emission values were observed from November to April(14–84 mg CO2 m^-2 h^-1)and the maximum were in July and August(522–1205 mg CO2 m^-2 h^-1).The contributions of CO2 emissions in the cold November–April period were 6–8.5%.The impacts of temperature on soil respiration were higher(r2=0.45–0.57)than those of groundwater levels(r^2=0.17–0.49).Soil respiration in the paludified spruce forest and in the pine bog generally were higher than emissions from ecosystems with similar hydrothermal conditions in the boreal zone.

Alternating-current losses in a two-layer superconducting cable, each layer being composed of 15 closely-spaced rectangular wires made up of second-generation superconductors when the ends of wires are coated by either a non-magnetic or strong ferromagnetic material having a U profile is numerically investigated. Computations are carried out through the finite-element method. The alternating-current losses do not increase significantly if the relative permeability of the coating is increased three orders of magnitude, provided that the current amplitude is less than half of the critical current in a superconducting wire. However, the losses are much higher for ferromagnetic coating if the amplitude of the applied current oscillating at 50 Hz is close to the critical current. The ferromagnetic coating is seen to accumulate the magnetic field lines normally on its surfaces, while the field lines are parallel to the long axes of the wires, leading to more significant flux penetration in the coated regions. This facilitates a uniform low-loss current flow in the uncoated regions of the wires. in contrast, coating with a non-magnetic material gives rise to a considerably smaller current flow in the uncoated regions, whereas the low-loss flow is maintained in the coated regions. Moreover, the current flows in opposite directions in the coated and uncoated regions, where the direction in each region is converse for the two materials.

in the present work, Polyhydroxybutyrate （PHB）/Hydroxyapatite （HA） porous composites （10%, 20%, 30 %, 40%, 50% weight HA） were obtained by sintering. PHB/20% HA optimally combines satisfactory mechanical properties with a high content of the bioactive component （HA）. Porous PHB/20% HA scaffolds have shown high mechanical properties （compressive strength of 106 MPa and Young＇s modulus of 901 MPa）. A high volume fraction of interconnected pores （〉 50 vol.%） was achieved with pore size of 50 grn - 500 gm. Biocompatibility of porous pure PHB and PHB/20%HA, as its osseointegration were assessed in vitro and after implantation in laboratory animals. PHB/20% HA （-5% ＋ 0.9%） and pure PHB ~3% ~ 1.4%） samples after 24 hours of incubation with human leucocytes showed no significant level of cytotoxicity when p = 0.648 （p-value）. in vitro massive adhesion of mouse Multipotent Mesenchymal Stromal Cells （MMSC） to the surface of both porous samples was shown. PHB/20% HA induced more intensive MMSC proliferation compared to pure PHB, which are 31% ＋ 6.1% and 20% ＋ 5.7 % respectively when p = 0.039. We observed the resorption （implant surface area was reduced by 49 %） and integration of the porous PHB/20% HA samples into surrounding tissues after 30 days of implantation. The signs of osteoclasts accumulation, neo-angigenesis and new bone formation were observed, which make PHB/20% HA promising for bone tissue engineering.
