Aqueous zinc-ion batteries possess substantial potential for energy storage applications;however,they are hampered by challenges such as dendrite formation and uncontrolled side reactions occurring at the zinc *** our investigation,we sought to mitigate these issues through the utilization of in situ zinc complex formation reactions to engineer hydrophobic protective layers on the zinc anode *** robust interfacial layers serve as effective barriers,isolating the zinc anode from the electrolyte and active water molecules and thereby preventing hydrogen evolution and the generation of undesirable ***,the presence of numerous zincophilic sites within these protective layers facilitates uniform zinc deposition while concurrently inhibiting dendrite *** comprehensive evaluation of functional anodes featuring diverse functional groups and alkyl chain lengths,we meticulously scrutinized the underlying mechanisms influencing performance *** analysis involved precise modulation of interfacial hydrophobicity,rapid Zn2+ion transport,and ordered deposition of Zn2+***,the optimized anode,fabricated with octadecylphosphate（OPA）,demonstrated exceptional performance *** Zn//Zn symmetric cell exhibited remarkable longevity,exceeding 4000 h under a current density of 2 mA cm-2and a capacity density of 2 mA h cm-2,Furthermore,when integrated with a VOH cathode,the complete cell exhibited superior capacity retention compared to anodes modified with alternative organic molecules.

Solid‐state Zn–air batteries(ZABs)hold great potential for application in wearable and flexible ***,further commercialization of current ZABs is still limited by the poor stability and low energy *** is,thus,crucial to develop efficient catalysts as well as optimize the solid electrolyte system to unveil potential of the ZAB *** to the low cost and versatility in tailoring the structures and properties,carbon materials have been extensively used as the conductive substrates,catalytic air electrodes,and important components in the electrolytes for the solid‐state *** this context,we discuss the challenges facing current solid‐state ZABs and summarize the strategies developed to modify properties of carbon‐based electrodes and *** highlight the metal−organic framework/covalent organic framework‐based electrodes,heteroatom‐doped carbon,and the composites formed of carbon with metal oxides/sulfides/*** also briefly discuss the progress of graphene oxide‐based solid electrolyte.

To design an efficient protocol for sharing the encrypted lock keys in the renting house system,we introduce a new notion called time-and identitybased proxy reencryption(TIPRE)and the blockchain *** CPA secure TIPRE scheme is constructed from Green et al.’s identity-based proxy reencryption scheme by adding the time *** every time period,a time stamp authority generates a public key embedded with the current time stamp for each *** our protocol for the renting house system,the TIPRE scheme is the primary building block,and the blockchain platform serves instead of a trusted third party,such as a real estate agency between landlords and *** TIPRE scheme allows the landlord to change the lock key at each time period for *** blockchain platform allows the landlords and tenants to directly interact,and all of the interactions are recorded in the blockchain database to provide the desired security requirements,such as nonrepudiation and ***,we provide the secure analysis of our protocol and test its performance by implementing it in the MacBook Pro and the Intel edison development platforms.

This study presents the authors＇ recent research and application of a new visual programming language and its development environment： VIPLE （Visual IoT/Robotics Programming Language Environment） at Arizona State University （ASU）. ASU VIPLE supports a variety of loT devices and robots based on an open architecture. Based on computational thinking, VIPLE supports the integration of engineering design process, workflow, fundamental programming concepts, control flow, parallel computing, event-driven programming, and service-oriented computing seamlessly into a wide range of curricula, such as introduction to computing, introduction to engineering, service-oriented computing, and software integration. It is actively used at ASU in several sections of FSE 100： Introduction to Engineering and in CSE 446： Software Integration and Engineering, as well as in several other universities worldwide.

Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the *** major treatments for cancer management include surgery,cytotoxic chemotherapy,targeted therapy,radiation therapy,endocrine therapy and *** the endeavors and achievements made in treating cancers during the past decades,resistance to classical chemotherapeutic agents and/or novel targeted drugs continues to be a major problem in cancer *** resistance,either existing before treatment(intrinsic)or generated after therapy(acquired),is responsible for most relapses of cancer,one of the major causes of death of the *** among patients and tumors,and the versatility of cancer to circumvent therapies make drug resistance more challenging to deal *** understanding the mechanisms of drug resistance is required to provide guidance to future cancer treatment and achieve better *** this review,intrinsic and acquired resistance will be *** addition,new discoveries in mechanisms of drug resistance will be ***,we will highlight roles of ATP in drug resistance by discussing recent findings of exceptionally high levels of intratumoral extracellular ATP as well as intracellular ATP internalized from extracellular *** complexity of drug resistance development suggests that combinational and personalized therapies,which should take ATP into consideration,might provide better strategies and improved efficacy for fighting drug resistance in cancer.

As guest editors,we are delighted to introduce this special issue devoted to control and decision in power and energy *** the last decades,the penetration level of intermittent renewable energy into power grid is continuously growing,while at the same time the load pattern is also under fast changes with the introduction of,for example,plug-in electric vehicles and smart electrical home *** intermittency of renewable generation along with the variability of load pattern have imposed significant challenges on the power grid *** the grid hybridisation and modernisation have a lot of environmental benefits,innovative technologies on power and energy systems modelling,simulation,control,optimisation,diagnosis and security/resiliency analysis are needed to ensure the stability and reliability of the future power *** growing trend in the power grid is the integration of Distributed Energy Resources(DERs)including distributed generators,energy storages and demand response in power distribution ***,electric loads are usually passive and ***,with the development of demand response techniques,electric loads can now be actively controlled to provide grid *** have large population size and fast aggregate ramping rate,and thus,present an enormous potential to mitigate the uncertainty from renewable generation and accommodate large-scale renewable integration.

The cancer stem cell(CSC)state and epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)activation are tightly *** cells that acquire the EMT/CSC phenotype are equipped with adaptive metabolic changes to maintain low reactive oxygen species levels and stemness,enhanced drug transporters,anti-apoptotic machinery and DNA repair *** present in the tumor microenvironment such as hypoxia and the communication with non-cancer stromal cells also promote cancer cells to enter the EMT/CSC state and display related ***,particularly the high levels of intratumoral extracellular ATP functioning through both signaling pathways and ATP internalization,induces and regulates EMT and *** three of them work together to enhance drug *** findings in each of these factors will help us explore deeper into mechanisms of drug resistance and suggest new resistance-associated markers and therapeutic targets.

光致发光光谱在鉴别不同类型珍珠中的应用

爱迪生珍珠和珈百丽珍珠为近年来相继问世的优质淡水有核珍珠,分别酷似南洋珠和AKOYA珍珠,如何区分白色珍珠、金色珍珠、黑色珍珠及银灰色珍珠的类型和颜色成因,成为目前检测机构棘手的难题。对132颗不同类型的白色系、黄色系、黑色系、灰色系天然呈色珍珠与染色或辐照改色的各类珍珠进行了系统的PL光谱测试分析,结果表明不同类型的珍珠PL光谱有重要鉴别特征,尤其是PL光谱中荧光背景强度(F)与565 nm文石主峰强度(A)比值F/A,可有效区分不同类型白色珍珠以及黑色、金色银灰色珍珠的颜色成因。(1)白色南洋珠F/A值多集中于1附近,白色爱迪生珍珠与白色珈百丽珍珠具有类似的PL光谱与F/A值变化范围,但大部分样品出现631 nm发光峰,F/A值多集中于2;白色AKOYA珍珠的F/A值大于10。(2)金色南洋珠的F/A值多集中于1.6,变化范围较小,染金色南洋珠与染金色爱迪生珍珠F/A值基本都大于4。(3)深灰色体色Tahiti黑珍珠没有特征的发光峰,但随着颜色加深,逐渐出现617 nm处发光峰,黑色体色Tahiti黑珍珠具有稳定的有机卟啉相关的617和650 nm处发光峰;而绝大部分染色、辐照的黑色珍珠样品并未出现明显的荧光背景增强现象,但缺失617和650 nm处发光峰。(4)天然呈色银灰色AKOYA样品F/A值都小于3,而染色和辐照成因的银灰色AKOYA的F/A值都明显高(1.79~144),并且因改色方式不同,存在一定的变化范围。

目的探讨前路经皮内窥镜下颈椎间盘髓核摘除术（percutanousendoscopiccervicaldiscectomy，PECD）的安全性、可行性及临床疗效。方法选择用PECD治疗的28例患者。术前及术后3d、1，3，6，12及18个月分别行视觉模拟评分（visualanaloguescale，VAS）及MacNab评分。术后1，3及12个月行MRI检查。所有评分数据收集后使用SAS软件进行单因素丁检验分析。结果25例患者获得随访18～24个月，平均19个月。术后3dVAS和MacNab评分较术前改善（P〉0．05），术后1，3，6，12及18个月VAS和MacNab评分较术前明显改善（P〈0．01）；术后3d与术后3，6，12及18个月VAS和MacNab评分比较，差异有统计学意义（P〈0．05）；术后1，3，6。12及18个月VAS和MacNab评分比较差异无统计学意义（P〉0．05）。术后24个月VAS评分及MacNab评分较术前改善明显（P〈0．01），较术后3d明显改善（P〈0．01）。结论前路PECD对软组织性和部分骨性颈椎间盘突出具有良好的疗效。
