The atomic-to-molecular gas conversion is a critical step in the baryon cycle of galaxies,which sets the initial conditions for subsequent star formation and influences the multi-phase interstellar *** compiled a sample of 94 nearby galaxies with observations of multi-phase gas contents by utilizing public hⅠ,CO,and optical IFU data from the Ma NGA survey together with new FAST hⅠ*** agreement with previous results,our sample shows that the global molecular-to-atomic gas ratio(Rmol≡log Mh2/MhⅠ) is correlated with the global stellar mass surface density μ*with a Kendall's τ coefficient of 0.25 and phtly but still correlated with stellar mass and NUV-r color,and not related to the specific star formation rate（sSFR）.The cold gas distribution and kinematics inferred from the hⅠand CO global profile asymmetry and shape do not significantly rely on *** to the availability of kpc-scale observations of MaNGA,we decompose galaxies into hⅡ,composite,and AGN-dominated regions by using the BPT *** increasing Rmol,the fraction of hⅡregions within 1.5 effective radius decreases slightly;the density distribution in the spatially resolved BPT diagram also changes significantly,suggesting changes in metallicity and ionization *** with high Rmoltend to have high oxygen abundance,both at one effective radius with a Kendall's τ coefficient of 0.37(pheir central *** all parameters investigated here,the oxygen abundance at one effective radius has the strongest relation with global *** dependence of gas conversion on gas distribution and galaxy ionization states is *** contrast,the observed positive relation between oxygen abundance（μ*） and Rmolindicates that the gas conversion is efficient in regions of high metallicity（density）.

human action famously transforms the Earth and its biosphere and geosphere.1 While most literature consider plowing,burning,debris,and other products and by-products of our activities,direct effects of changing human biomass might merit further *** are now the dominant terrestrial vertebrate,composing about 1/3 of land vertebrate biomass,which translates to 1/10 of total vertebrate biomass.2 The other terrestrial 2/3 consists nearly entirely of livestock kept by humans for ***-domesticated land vertebrates,from shrews to elephants to swallows,form a mere 3%.human and domestic animal sequences,commonly detected in environmental DNA(eDNA)metabarcoding studies,are routinely excluded from ***,we hypothesize that extending eDNA analysis to include human and domesticated animal eDNA(hdaDNA)will provide insight into present-day and potentially historical human impacts on the biosphere(Figure 1).We think the distribution and abundance of hdaDNA are features of the Anthropocene worthy of study.

Katanin is a heterodimeric microtubule （MT） severing protein that uses energy from ATP hydrolysis to generate internal breaks along MTs. Katanin p60, one of the two subunits, possesses ATPase and MT-binding/severing activities, and the p 80 subunit is responsible for targeting of katanin to certain subcellular locations. In animals, katanin plays an important role in the release of MTs from their nucleation sites in the centrosome. It is also involved in severing MTs into smaller fragments which can serve as templates for further polymerization to increase MT number during meiotic and mitotic spindle assembly. Katanin homologs are present in a wide variety of plant species. The Arabidopsis katanin homolog has been shown to possess ATP-dependent MT severing activity in vitro and exhibit a punctate localization pattern at the cell cortex and the perinuclear region. Disruption of katanin functions by genetic mutations causes a delay in the disappearance of the perinuclear MT array and results in an aberrant organization of cortical MTs in elongating cells. Consequently, katanin mutations lead to defects in cell elongation, cellulose microfibril deposition, and hormonal responses. Studies of katanin in plants provide new insights into our understanding of its roles in cellular functions.

Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever(CChF),caused by Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus(CChFV),is endemic in Africa,Asia,and Europe,but CChF epidemiology and epizootiology is only rudimentarily defined for most *** we summarize what is known about CChF in Central,Eastern,and South-eastern *** multiple international and country-specific databases using a One health approach,we defined disease risk and burden through identification of CChF cases,anti-CChFV antibody prevalence,and CChFV isolation from vector *** identified 2313 CChF cases that occurred in 1944–2021 in the three examined *** Asian countries reported the majority of cases(2,026).In Eastern Asia,China was the only country that reported CChF cases(287).In South-eastern Asia,no cases were ***,we leveraged our previously established classification scheme to assign countries to five CChF evidence *** countries(China,Kazakhstan,Kyrgyzstan,Tajikistan,Turkmenistan,and Uzbekistan)were assigned to level 1 or level 2 based on CChF case reports and the maturity of the countries’surveillance *** countries(Mongolia and Myanmar)were assigned to level 3 due to evidence of CChFV circulation in the absence of reported CChF *** countries in Eastern and South-eastern Asia were categorized in levels 4 and 5 based on prevalence of CChFV vector ***,this paper describes the past and present status of CChF reporting to inform international and local public-health agencies to strengthen or establish CChFV surveillance systems and address shortcomings.
