Background:Accumulating data have suggested that long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)play important roles in regulating tumor cell *** study was designed to investigate the role of SNHG16 in hep-atocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods:SNHG16 expression was detected with real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR).The cut-offvalue of SNHG16 for tumor-free survival(TFS)was determined with receiver operating characteristic curve *** interfering RNA was used to inhibit the expression of SNHG16 in HCC cell *** biologic behavior of HCC cell was determined with cell viability assay and Transwell assay in *** potential predictive value of SNHG16 on prognosis was analyzed by Kaplan-Meier curves and Cox proportional hazards regression ***:SNHG16 expression was upregulated in tumor tissues and HCC cell *** expression of SNHG16 was associated with tumor recurrence and poor prognosis after *** analysis revealed that SNHG16 was an independent prognostic factor for poor recurrence-free ***,inhibition of SNHG16 in HepG2,Hep3B,and BEL-7402 cells significantly reduced cell invasiveness and *** analyses indicated that the ECM-receptor interaction pathway was remarkably activated by ***:SNHG16 might be a promising biomarker for predicting tumor recurrence in HCC patients after surgery and a potential therapeutic target for HCC.

To the Editor:In recent decades,local ablative therapies have evolved considerably and played an increasingly important role in the treatment of inoperable *** modalities are mainly based on thermal ablation to destroy targeted lesions,such as radiofrequency ablation[1].The clinical application of pulsed electric fields[2]is emerging as an innovative and promising technique for tumor ablation,which does not depend on heat energy and preserves surrounding tissues adjacent to tumors[3].Highvoltage ultrashort electric pulses compromise the integrity of the plasma membrane and destroy intracellular *** pulsed electric fields(nsPEFs),with a strength of several tens of kV/cm and a nanosecond duration,have attracted much attention and been extensively studied in cancer ablation[4,5].

Cancer cell genomes originate from single-cell mutation with sequential clonal and subclonal expansion of somatic mutation acquisition during pathogenesis,thus exhibiting a darwinian evolutionary process(Gerstung et al.,2020;Nik-Zainal et al.,2012).Through next-generation sequencing of tumor tissue,this evolutionary process can be characterized by statistical modelling,which can identify the clonal state,somatic mutation order,and evolutionary process(Gerstung et al.,2020;Mcgranahan&Swanton,2017).Inference of clonal and subclonal structure from bulk or single-cell tumor genomic sequencing data has a huge impact on studying cancer *** state and mutation order can provide detailed insight into tumor origin and future *** the past decade,various methods for subclonal reconstruction using bulk tumor sequencing data have been ***,these methods had different programming languages and data input formats,which limited their use and ***,we established a web server for Clonal and Subclonal Structure Inference and Evolution(COSINE)of cancer genomic data,which incorporated twelve popular subclonal reconstruction *** deconstructed each method to provide a detailed workflow of single processing steps with a user-friendly *** the best of our knowledge,this is the first web server providing online subclonal inference based on the integration of most popular subclonal reconstruction *** is freely accessible at ***.

An improved model for bending of thin viscoe-lastic plate resting on Winkler foundation is presented. The thin plate is linear viscoelastic and subjected to normal distributed loading, the effect of normal stress along the plate thickness on the deflection and internal forces is taken into account. The basic equations for internal forces and stress distribution are derived based on the general viscoelastic theory under small deformation condition. The reduced equations for elastic case are given as well. It is shown that the proposed model reveals a larger flex-ural rigidity compared to that in classic models, in which the normal stress along the plate thickness is neglected.

Overview of in-situ oxygen production technologies for lunar resources

Boron-containing heterocyclic clusters possess unique bonding characteristics. Some skeleton materials with boron-containing heterocycles as building units have potential application in gas adsorption, selective catalysis and optics.[1-2]The s-indacene CH with C symmetry can be described as a limit system between the classes of aromatic and antiaromatic molecules due to its unique structural and magnetic properties.[3] Inspired by the principle of isoelectronic species, we design planar tricyclic BOmolecules with D symmetries. Interestingly, D BO(A) and D BO.(B) are the global minima of the systems based upon global structural searches and B LYP and CCSD(T) calculations. The D structures feature tricyclic system(5+6+5), which consists two BOfive-membered rings fused together via two bridging O atoms and terminated by two BO groups. Bonding analyses show that the closed-shell BO cluster possesses 12 delocalized π electrons, closely analogous to the bonding pattern of the s-indacene CH.

The rich resources and unique environment of the Moon make it an ideal location for human expansion and the utilization of extraterrestrial ***,crucial for supporting human life on the Moon,can be extracted from lunar regolith,which is highly rich in oxygen and contains polymetallic *** oxygen and metal extraction can be achieved using existing metallurgical ***,the ample reserves of water ice on the Moon offer another means for oxygen *** paper offers a detailed overview of the leading technologies for achieving oxygen production on the Moon,drawing from an analysis of lunar resources and environmental *** delves into the principles,processes,advantages,and drawbacks of water-ice electrolysis,two-step oxygen production from lunar regolith,and one-step oxygen production from lunar *** two-step methods involve hydrogen reduction,carbothermal reduction,and hydrometallurgy,while the one-step methods encompass fluorination/chlorination,high-temperature decomposition,molten salt electrolysis,and molten regolith electrolysis(MOE).Following a thorough comparison of raw materials,equipment,technology,and economic viability,MOE is identified as the most promising approach for future in-situ oxygen production on the *** the corrosion characteristics of molten lunar regolith at high temperatures,along with the Moon's low-gravity environment,the development of inexpensive and stable inert anodes and electrolysis devices that can easily collect oxygen is critical for promoting MOE technology on the *** review significantly contributes to our understanding of in-situ oxygen production technologies on the Moon and supports upcoming lunar exploration initiatives.

BACKGROUND A dual therapy regimen containing amoxicillin is a common treatment option for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori(***).While substantial research supports the efficacy and safety of vonoprazan and amoxicillin(VA)dual therapy in the general population,there is still a lack of studies specifically focusing on its safety in elderly *** To evaluate efficacy and safety of VA dual therapy as first-line or rescue treatment for *** in elderly *** As a real-world retrospective study,data were collected from elderly patients aged 60 years and above who accepted VA dual therapy(vonoprazan 20 mg twice daily+amoxicillin 1000 mg thrice daily for 14 days)for *** eradication in the Department of Gastroenterology at Peking University First Hospital between June 2020 and January *** status was evaluated by^(13)C-urease breath test 6 weeks after *** adverse events(AEs)during treatment were *** In total,401 cases were ***-one cases were excluded due to loss to follow-up,lack of re-examination,or unwillingness to take *** total of 380 included cases comprised 250 who received VA dual therapy as first-line treatment and 130 who received VA dual therapy as rescue *** was successfully eradicated in 239 cases(95.6%)in the first-line treatment group and 116 cases(89.2%)in the rescue treatment *** overall incidence of AEs was 9.5%for both ***,9.2%of patients experienced an AE in the first-line treatment group and 10.0%in the rescue treatment *** patients discontinued treatment due to AE,with a discontinuation rate of 1.3%.No serious AE *** The VA dual therapy regimen as a first-line treatment and a rescue therapy was effective and safe for elderly patients aged 60 and older.
