A new polyoxomolybdate complex HNaT[Mo36O112（H2O）16]·47H2O 1 has been prepared in the beaker solution and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and elemental analyses. Crystal data： H127Mo36Na7O175, Mr = 6542.79, monoclinic, C2/c, a = 40.891（6）, b = 17.900（3）, c = 25.580（4）A, β = 125.673（2）°, V = 15210（4）A3, Z = 4, Dc = 2.857 g/cm^3, F（000） = 12464,μ = 3.013 mm^-1, R = 0.0633 and wR = 0.1654 （I 〉 20（I））. With the bridging sodium cations, the [Mo36Ou2（H2O）16]^8- units in compound 1 are linked to form a one-dimensional structure, on the basis of which a three-dimensional architecture is further constructed via other sodium cations and complicated hydrogen bonds.

In a recent paper published in Science Advances,Leneva et al.1 present cryo-electron tomography structures of assembling metazoan and fungal core retromer complexes(VPS29/VPS35/VPS26)on membranes enriched in Фx(L/M/V)motif(where Ф is a bulky aromatic residue)-containing cargo and sorting nexin 3(SNX3).The structures suggest that retromer forms a conserved arch-like scaffold that can incorporate different types of membrane adaptors and *** surprisingly,the SNX3-reotrmer complex is sufficient to induce membrane curvature and tabulation,in the absence of classical membrane curvature drivers,such as bin/amphiphysin/rvs-domain-containing sorting nexin protein(SNX-BARs).

In a recent study published in Cell1 and two bioRxiv pre-prints,2,3 three studies investigate the structure of the endosomal Commander complex through a combination of X-ray crystal-lography,cryogenic-electron microscopy(Cryo-EM),Alphafold predictions and extensive site-directed mutagenesis(Fig.1a),which sheds lights on the molecular characteristics of this evolutionarily-conserved protein machinery,and enables the mapping of mutations causing X-linked intellectual disability(XILD)and Ritscher-Schinzel syndrome(RSS).When proteins enter the endosomal network,they are either transported to lysosome for degradation,or recycled to the plasma membrane or the trans-Golgi network for *** protein machineries are essential for the process,including Retromer,Commander,and several members of the sorting nexin(SNX)*** genes are highly conserved in metazoa and can be found in almost all tissues and cells.

Massive data is written to blockchain systems for the destination of keeping safe. However, existing blockchain protocols still demand that each full node has to contain the entire chain. Most nodes quit because they are unable to grow their storage space with the size of data. As the number of nodes decreases, the security of blockchains would significantly reduce. We present SE-Chain, a novel scale-out blockchain model that improves storage scalability under the premise of ensuring safety and achieves efficient retrieval. The SE-Chain consists of three parts:the data layer, the processing layer and the storage layer. In the data layer, each transaction is stored in the AB-M tree (Adaptive Balanced Merkle tree), which adaptively combines the advantages of balanced binary tree (quick retrieval) and Merkle tree (quick verification). In the processing layer, the full nodes store the part of the complete chain selected by the duplicate ratio regulation algorithm. Meanwhile, the node reliability verification method is used for increasing the stability of full nodes and reducing the risk of imperfect data recovering caused by the reduction of duplicate number in the storage layer. The experimental results on real datasets show that the query time of SE-Chain based on the AB-M tree is reduced by 17% when 16 nodes exist. Overall, SE-Chain improves the storage scalability extremely and implements efficient querying of transactions.

The semi-conductive performances of hot growth film on 316L stainless steel were studied by means of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS） and Mott-Schottky *** chemical compositions of the hot growth films were detected by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS）.The results show that the transfer resistance and film resistance increase with increasing temperature to 400℃,then they decrease sharply with further continuously increasing *** time plays an important role in determining the electron properties of the hot growth film,when formation time reaches to 1 d,the transfer resistance and film resistance reach to the maximum *** growth film has better anticorrosion behaviour in bicarbonate/carbonate solution containing chloride ions or sulfide ***-Schottky analysis reveals that hot growth film has n-p type semi-conductive *** results show that the hot growth film is mainly composed of the inner chromium oxide and the outer iron oxide.

Dear Editor,The Ras-related nuclear protein Ran is a small GTPase that functions in nuclear transport,mitotic spindle formation,nuclear-envelope/nudear-pore complex assembly,and other diverse cytoplasmic activities.1,2 Unlike other Ras superfamily proteins,Ran contains a unique autoinhibitory C-terminal tail(C-tail)that accounts for an estimated tenfold lower affinity for GTP as compared with *** missense cancer mutations at the C-tail have been observed,but the biological significance is unknown.

An experiment was carried out for investigating pressure behavior of catalyst powders, with a Sauter mean diameter of 63.6 μm, flowing downward in a cyclone dipleg with 150 mm inner diameter and 9000 mm high. Time mean pressure and time series of pressure fluctua- tions were measured at different axial positions in the dipleg with particle mass fluxes ranging from 50.0 to 385.0 kg m-2s t. The experimental results showed that the time mean pressure in the dipleg increased progres- sively from the top section to the bottom section. The experimental phenomena displayed that the fluidization patterns in the dipleg can be divided into two types on the whole, namely the dilute-dense coexisting falling flow and the dense conveying flow along the dipleg. In the dilute- dense coexisting falling flow, the dilute phase region was composed of a length of swirling flow below the inlet of dipleg and a dilute falling flow above the dense bed level. With increasing particle mass flux, the dilute-dense coex- isting falling flow was gradually transformed to be the dense conveying flow, and the exit pressure of the dipleg increased considerably. The pressure fluctuations were closely related to the flnidization patterns inside the dipleg. In the dilute-dense coexisting falling flow, the pressure fluctuations in the dilute flow region originated from par- ticle clusters, propagating downward as a pressure wave; however, the pressure fluctuations in the dense flow region originated from rising gas bubbles, propagating upward. When the dense conveying flow was formed in the dipleg,the pressure fluctuations originated mainly from instability of the feed and the compressed gas, propagating down- ward. The standard deviation of the pressure fluctuations indicated that the intensity of pressure fluctuations first increased and then decreased with increasing particle flux.
