AIM:To analyze the role of rs12979860 and rs8099917polymorphisms in hepatitis C virus(HCV)genotype 1infection of ***:A total of 145 adult patients diagnosed with genotype 1 chronic hepatitis C(CHC)who had completed a 48-wk regimen of pegylated-interferonα-2a or-2b plus ribavirin combination therapy were recruited from six large urban healthcare centers and199 healthy blood donors(controls)from a single site between January 2010 and January *** on the patients’response to treatment was *** chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism genotyping of the interleukin(IL)28B gene fragment encompassing the single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)rs12979860(C/T)and rs8099917(T/G)was carried out for 79 of the CHC patients and 199 of the ***-directional amplicon sequencing of the two SNPs was carried out for the remaining 66 CHC ***:SNP rs12979860 genotyping was successful in 99.5%of the controls and 97.2%of the CHC patients,whereas the SNP rs8099917 genotyping was successful in 95.5%of the controls and 100%of the CHC *** genotype and allele distributions for both rs12979860 and rs8099917 were significantly different between the control and CHC patient groups,with significantly higher genotype frequencies of CC and TT in the controls(P=0.037 and 0.046,respectively)and of TT and GG in the CHC patients(P=0.0009and 0.0001,respectively).Analysis of the CHC patients who achieved sustained virological response(SVR)to treatment(n=55)indicated that the rs12979860 C allele and CC genotype were predictors of SVR(P=0.02).No significant correlation was found between rs8099917 genotypes and treatment response,but carriers of the T allele showed significantly higher rates of SVR(P=0.02).Linkage disequilibrium analysis of the group that achieved SVR showed a significant association between rs12979860 and rs8099917(P=0.07).CONCLUSION:The higher allele frequency of rs12979860 C and rs8099917 T observed in non-HCVinfec

A major feature of humans is that they can attain much higher population densities than any non-domestic animal species of similar body size(Damuth 1987).This is most likely due to the invention of agriculture(Herrera and garcia-Bertrand 2018),which allowed humans to manage ecosystems in such a way that as much biomass as possible is converted into food(Vitousek et al.1986).

AIM To assess in rodent and human adipocytes the antilipolytic capacity of hexaquis(benzylammonium) decavanadate(B6V10), previously shown to exert antidiabetic effects in rodent models, such as lowering free fatty acids(FFA) and glucose circulating *** Adipose tissue(AT) samples were obtained after informed consent from overweight women undergoing plastic surgery. Comparison of the effects of B6V10 and reference antilipolytic agents(insulin,benzylamine,vanadate) on the lipolytic activity was performed on adipocytes freshly isolated from rat, mouse and human AT. Glycerol release was measured using colorimetric assay as an index of lipolytic activity. The influence of B6V10 and reference agents on glucose transport into human fat cells was determined using the radiolabelled 2-deoxyglucose uptake *** In all the species studied, B6V10 exhibited a dosedependent inhibition of adipocyte lipolysis when triglyceride breakdown was moderately enhanced by β-adrenergic receptor stimulation. B6V10 exerted on human adipocyte a maximal lipolysis inhibition of glycerol release that was stronger than that elicited by insulin. However, B6V10 did not inhibit basal and maximally stimulated lipolysis. When incubated at dose ≥ 10 μmol/L, B6V10 stimulated by twofold the glucose uptake in human fat cells, but-similarly to benzylamine-without reaching the maximal effect of insulin, while it reproduced one-half of the insulin-stimulation of lipogenesis in mouse fat cells. CONCLUSION B6V10 exerts insulin-like actions in adipocytes, including lipolysis inhibition and glucose transport activation. B6V10 may be useful in limiting lipotoxicity related to obesity and insulin resistance.

Previous reports on the pathogenesis of age-related movement disorders,such as Parkinson’s disease(PD)and essential tremor(ET),have demonstrated the potential implications of LINGO1(leucine-rich repeat and immunoglobulin domain-containing protein)*** LINGO2 has a high degree of homology with LINGO1,but it is less characterized and the role of LINGO2 in the development of PD/ET remains ***,this metaanalysis was conducted to evaluate the role of LINGO2 in PD/ET pathogenesis.A total of 4 studies,which complied with the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium,were included in the *** of the pooled odds ratio and confidence interval of the studies were performed for five genetic models,namely:allelic,dominant,recessive,homozygous,and *** significant association was observed between the LINGO2 polymorphism and PD/ET,although subgroup analysis through conventional metaanalysis indicated that the recessive models of rs7033345 and rs10812774 are significantly associated with predisposition to ET in the Asian ***,trial sequential analyses for both polymorphisms were unlikely to reveal any robust ***,studies with larger samples on this association are needed in the future to corroborate our results.

Background:Coumarins are secondary metabolites from the phenylpropanoid-type biosynthesis in higher plants.A plethora of potential phytopharmacological activities have been described for derivatives of the coumarin scaffold:hepatoprotective,antineoplastic,antimicrobial,antituberculosis,antiviral,anti-inflammatory anticoagulant,or antithrombotic ***:A computer-based quantitative structure–activity relationships(QSAR)study for a series of 4‑chloro-3-formylcoumarins was carried ***:To this end we generated the 3D models of 17 published coumarin structures,calculated their physicochemical properties(descriptors)to correlate them to their experimentally known biological activities measured as inhibition concentrations to block the target enzyme *** proposed approach used free molecular modeling software and applies our scripts written in the programming language ***:The final multiple regression models achieved satisfactory results with a small number of descriptors–all of which were statistically significant and meaningful in the field of pharmacodynamics to develop new 3-formylcoumarins with enhanced activities targeting the human thymidine phosphorylase ***:On theoretical grounds,our in silico research contributes in a crucial step in the field of complementary *** step is located between in vivo pharmacological observations of plant extracts on ethnopharmacological,preclinical or controlled clinical levels and the need to identify–at an atomic scale–all those plant ingredients responsible for the biological actions under *** simulations shed light on the modification of phyto-medicine’s physicochemical properties to enhance the interaction with their biomolecular target in the patient’s body.

随着新石器晚期红山文化、良渚文化、屈家岭/石家河文化、大汶口/山东龙山文化的发现与研究,中国和外国的研究者提出中国早期存在一个“玉器时代”。“玉器时代”应该被理解为1862年christian Jurgensen Thomsen提出的“三期论”中在石器时代与青铜时代中间的一个新的时代。自“玉器时代”的概念提出以来,不少研究者对这个概念提出质疑,有的研究者认为“玉器时代”不足以代表新石器晚期,或者不符合“三期论”的理论。迄今为止,中国是否存在“玉器时代”还是一个存疑的论题。本论文的目标并不是解决“玉器时代”存在与否的争论,而是评价“玉器时代”概念与玉器直接相关的几个要素,把“玉器时代”概念的争论变成考古争论。为了实现这个目标,本论文先在第一章介绍“玉器时代”这一概念,描述从汉代到今天的“玉器时代”概念的发展历程,包括“玉器时代”如何符合传统的Thomsen“三期说”理论,而后介绍不同研究者支持与反驳“玉器时代”的概念最重要的理由。在第二章本论文探索“玉器时代”与考古资料的关系,考古研究者如何理解“玉器时代”的概念,然后分辨几个“玉器时代”跟玉器与考古有关系的要素。在第三章介绍新石器晚期背景,然后对长江上、中、下游在墓葬墓葬中发掘出土的新石器文化玉器的统计和阐述,最后在第四章统计分析研究结果是否支持“玉器时代”理论,并提出关于“玉器时代”的研究前景。

The objective of this work was to describe the predominant cell forms in the phases of growth kinetics in a suspension culture of the Bougainvillea glabra Choisy variety *** in suspension with Murashige and Skoog(MS)basal culture medium were supplemented with six different concentrations and combinations of vegetable growth regulator(VGR)of type auxin(2,4-D and NAA)and cytokinin(BAP)(0.2-5.3 mg/L)and a *** callus was obtained from leaf explants ex vitro to in vitro culture in solid MS medium using PhytagelTM as gelling agent to 2.2 g/L.A portion of callus(1.0 g)was used as cellular inoculum and grown under controlled conditions(50 mL,120 rpm,25°C and luminous intensity of 48μmol m2/s).The best treatment with significant differences(p≤0.05)were with a hormonal relation of 2:1 of BAP and NAA,respectively,with a fresh weight yield ranging from 1.7905 g to 5.8340 g,which represents around 70%.An adaptation phase was observed from day 0 to day 14 on the curve of fresh weight;an exponential phase at day 14 to day 19 and a declination phase at day *** forms in the adaptation phase were elongated cells,a few globular and a few with kidney *** the exponential phase,these cells formed small aggregates of globular *** the death phase,brown,elongated,damaged and fragmented cells were *** this data obtained it is possible to establish the subculture time in fresh medium.

Sexual education is a social responsibility and is a part of the coherent strategy referred to the introduction in schools in Angola. It was made of a prospective, descriptive and longitudinal study that has been characterized the knowledge of sexual education of students in general education in three schools and the Council of christian Churches in Huambo-Angola in July 2015. The sample consisted of 386 students chosen randomly;there are no sexual education programs in the education system, there are taboos on sexuality, the respondents do not know the sexual organs and much less contraceptive methods, there are still taboos in sexuality theme approach with adolescents, the results showed.
