Tumor vaccines trigger tumor-specific immune responses to prevent or treat tumors by activating the hosts’immune systems,and therefore,these vaccines have potential clinical ***,the low immunogenicity of the tumor antigen itself and the low efficiency of the vaccine delivery system hinder the efficacy of tumor vaccines that cannot produce high-efficiency and long-lasting antitumor immune ***,we constructed a nanovaccine by integrating CD47KO/CRT dual-bioengineered B16F10 cancer cell membranes and the unmethylated cytosine-phosphate-guanine(CpG)*** PEI25k was used to load unmethylated cytosine-phosphate-guanine(CpG)through electrostatic adsorption to prepare PEI25k/CpG nanoparticles(PEI25k/CpG-NPs).CD47KO/CRT dual-bioengineered cells were obtained by CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing technology,followed by the cell surface translocation of calreticulin(CRT)to induce immunogenic cell death(ICD)in ***,the extracted cell membranes were coextruded with PEI25k/CpG-NPs to construct the CD47KO/CRT dual-bioengineered cancer cell membrane-coated nanoparticles(DBE@CCNPs).DBE@CCNPs could promote endocytosis of antigens and adjuvants in murine bone marrow derived dendritic cells(BMDCs)and induce their maturation and antigen *** avoid immune checkpoint molecule-induced T cell dysfunction,the immune checkpoint inhibitor,the anti-PD-L1 antibody,was introduced to boost tumor immunotherapy through a combination with the DBE@CCNPs *** combination therapy strategy can significantly alleviate tumor growth and may open up a potential strategy for clinical tumor immunotherapy.

Characteristics of Altered Ilmenite in Uranium-Bearing Sandstone and Its Relationship with Uranium Minerals in the Northeastern Ordos Basin

Clinical Effect Observation of Constructing PERMA Model in Psychological Intervention for Patients with Chronic Cancer Pain

Background:The constructing PERMA model in psychological intervention was applied to patients with chronic cancer pain to provide data reference for reducing pain,fear of cancer recurrence,and improving the level of psychological ***:To explore the clinical effects of constructing PERMA model in psychological intervention for patients with chronic cancer ***:A total of 98 patients with chronic cancer pain admitted to our hospital from March 2021 to March 2023 were randomly divided into two groups,49 cases in each *** control group received routine intervention,while the research group constructed PERMA model based on the routine intervention for psychological *** pain severity,fear of cancer recurrence,psychological capital and quality of life before and after intervention were compared between the two ***:After two months of intervention,the pain in the research group was milder than that in the control group(p<0.05).The scores and total scores of all dimensions of fear of cancer recurrence in the research group were lower than those in the control group(p<0.05).The scores and total scores of each dimension of psychological capital in the research group were higher than those in the control group(p<0.05).The scores of all dimensions of quality of life in the research group were higher than those in the control group(p<0.05).Conclusion:The PERMA model constructed in psychological interventions for patients with chronic cancer pain can assist analgesic medications to reduce pain and alleviate the fear of cancer recurrence,increase the level of psychological capital,and thus improve quality of life.

Optimizing the Bacillus thuringiensis(Bt)protein concentration in cotton:Coordinated application of exogenous amino acids and EDTA to reduce spatiotemporal variability in boll and leaf toxins

During the boll formation stage,cotton bolls exhibit the lowest expression of Bacillus thuringiensis(Bt)insecticidal *** to insects varies notably among different organs,which poses challenges for controlling cotton ***,an experimental strategy was designed in the 2020-2021 cotton growing season to coordinate the enhancement of protein synthesis and the attenuation of *** Bt cultivars of Gossypium hirsutum,namely the hybrid Sikang 3 and the conventional Sikang 1,were used as test *** treatments were applied at the peak flowering period:CK(the control),T1(amino acids),and T2(amino acids and EDTA).The results show that,in comparison to the CK group,the Bt protein contents were significantly increased in both cotton bolls and their subtending leaves under the T1 and T2 *** maximum levels of increase observed were 67.5%in cotton bolls and 21.7%in ***,the disparity in Bt protein content between cotton bolls and their subtending leaves notably decreased by 31.2%.Correlation analysis suggested that the primary physiological mechanisms for augmenting Bt protein content involve increased protein synthesis and reduced protein catabolism,which are independent of Bt gene expression *** regression and path analysis revealed that elevating the soluble protein content and transaminase activity,while reducing the catabolic enzyme activities,are instrumental in enhancing the Bt protein ***,the coordinated application of amino acids and EDTA emerges as a strategy that can improve the overall resistance of Bt cotton and mitigate the spatiotemporal variations in Bt toxin concentrations in both cotton bolls and leaves.

Study on Floral and Pollen Characters of Tetraploid Rice

Polyploidization is the evolution trend of many crops, and the yield increased obviously after polyploidization. The polyploidization of rice often brings ＂gigas＂ of both vegetative organs and seeds. Howevere, in rice breeding, it is required for restoring lines to have not only big anthers but also abundant pollens. People often doubt that the enlargement of the floral organ may just be enlargement of cell size in polyploid rice. So, it is of significance to study characteristics of floral organs and pollens of several tetraploid rice varieties or lines. Floral organ and pollen characteristics of Sg99012 and HN2026 were studied comparatively by stages and different ploidy levels, with the materials 9311, HD9802S, and PA64S as the control. The results showed that chromosome doubling had much more influence on floral characteristics of every lines than seeding by stages, and the tetraploids of every lines displayed ＂gigas＂. In correlation analysis, spikelet length, spikelet width, and anther length had significant correlation; spikelet width and anther width had significant correlation, too. Both seeding by stages and chromosome doubling made the correlations of characters between every floral organ changed to some extent. Seeding by stages had little effect on pollen diameter and fertility of HN2026-4X and Sg99012-4X. But chromosome doubling increased pollen size of every lines remarkably, and also increased the pollen quantity of PMeS （polyploid meiosis stability） restoring line HN2026-4X and gene map restoring line 9311-4X remarkably, whereas only had little effect on that of sterile lines. Moreover, chromosome doubling changed pollen fertility and made the number of fertility pollen of 9311 reduced significantly, but the pollen fertility of HN2026 （PMeS restoring line） and PA64S （sterile line） almost had no change after chromosome doubling. A multiple-labelling method for cells using Au nanoparticles with different shapes

An important and difficult issue is simultaneously identifying the detailed locations of various molecules on the cell surface, as this identification requires a synergistic effect between more than one molecule in a living cell. Au nanoparticles (NPs) with different shapes can be readily recognised under low vacuum scanning electron microscopy (lvSEM). Anisotropic Au nanorods (NRs) possess unique surface plasmon resonance (SPR) properties, which can be further utilised for two photon luminescence (TPL) and other optical imaging techniques. In this paper, Au NRs and Au nanooctahedra (Au NOs) are introduced as biomarkers for ICAM-1 and Integrin β1. Combined with the advantages of lvSEM, this multiple-labelling method is a new method for studying the interactions between specific, functional molecules.

Association between Phthalate Exposure and the Use of Plastic Containers in Shanghai Adults

Objective Consuming phthalates may be due to the presence of food contact materials, such as plastic containers. In this study, we investigated the association between plastic container use and phthalate exposure in 2,140 Shanghai adults. Methods Participants completed a questionnaire on the frequency of using plastic containers in different scenarios in the previous year （e.g., daily, weekly） and on the consumption of plastic-packaged foods in the previous three days （yes or no）. Urinary phthalate metabolites were used to assess the association between phthalate exposure and the use of plastic containers. Results The metabolites of di-（2-ethylhexyl） phthalate （DEHP） were the most frequently detected in urine. The results revealed that phthalate exposure was associated with consumption of plastic-packaged breakfast or processed food items in the previous three days. The consumption of these two food items had strong synergistic effects on increasing urinary concentrations of most phthalate metabolites. Conclusion Our results of plastic-packaged breakfast and processed food may be explained by the use of flexible plastic containers, indicating the importance of risk assessment for the application of flexible plastic containers.
