Anonymous TollPass: A Blockchain-Based Privacy-Preserving Electronic Toll Payment Model

As big data,Artificial Intelligence,and Vehicle-to-Everything(V2X)communication have advanced,Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS)are being developed to enable efficient and safe transportation *** Toll collection(ETc),which is one of the services included in ITS systems,is an automated system that allows vehicles to pass through toll plazas without stopping for manual *** ETc system is widely deployed on highways due to its contribution to stabilizing the overall traffic system *** ensure secure and efficient toll payments,designing a distributed model for sharing toll payment information among untrusted toll service providers is ***,the current ETc system operates under a centralized ***,both toll service providers and toll plazas know the toll usage history of *** raises concerns about revealing the entire driving routes and patterns of *** address these issues,blockchain technology,suitable for secure data management and data sharing in distributed systems,is being applied to the ETc *** enables efficient and transparent management of ETc ***,the public nature of blockchain poses a challenge where users’usage records are exposed to all *** tackle this,we propose a blockchain-based toll ticket model named AnonymousTollPass that considers the privacy of *** proposed model utilizes traceable ring signatures to provide unlinkability between tickets used by a vehicle and prevent the identity of the vehicle using the ticket from being identified among the ring members for the ***,malicious vehicles’identities can be traced when they attempt to reuse *** conducting simulations,we show the effectiveness of the proposed model and demonstrate that gas fees required for executing the proposed smart contracts are only 10%(when the ring size is 50)of the fees required in previous studies.

The software engineering field has long focused on creating high-quality software despite limited *** defects before the testing stage of software development can enable quality assurance engineers to con-centrate on problematic modules rather than all the *** approach can enhance the quality of the final product while lowering development *** defective modules early on can allow for early corrections and ensure the timely delivery of a high-quality product that satisfies customers and instills greater confidence in the development *** process is known as software defect prediction,and it can improve end-product quality while reducing the cost of testing and *** study proposes a software defect prediction system that utilizes data fusion,feature selection,and ensemble machine learning fusion techniques.A novel filter-based metric selection technique is proposed in the framework to select the optimum features.A three-step nested approach is presented for predicting defective modules to achieve high *** the first step,three supervised machine learning techniques,including Decision Tree,Support Vector Machines,and Naïve Bayes,are used to detect faulty *** second step involves integrating the predictive accuracy of these classification techniques through three ensemble machine-learning methods:Bagging,Voting,and ***,in the third step,a fuzzy logic technique is employed to integrate the predictive accuracy of the ensemble machine learning *** experiments are performed on a fused software defect dataset to ensure that the developed fused ensemble model can perform effectively on diverse *** NASA datasets are integrated to create the fused dataset:MW1,Pc1,Pc3,Pc4,and *** to the results,the proposed system exhibited superior performance to other advanced techniques for predicting software defects,achieving a remarkable accuracy rate of 92.08%.

A silane-based host material with improved electron transport properties for phosphorescent OLEDs with high efficiency and low efficiency roll-off

In this paper, we propose a fast and simple system emulator, called a system performance emulator(SPE), to evaluate long read *** SPE estimates how much system-wide performance is enhanced by using a faster solid state disk(SSD).By suspending a cPU for a certain time during direct memory access(DMA) transfer and subtracting this suspended time from the total DMA time, the SPE estimates the improvement in system performance expected from an enhanced SSD prior to its *** also examine the relation between storage performance and system performance using the SPE.

Reversible and controllable threshold voltage modulation for n-c.annel MoS2 and p-c.annel MoTe_(2 )field-effect transistors via multiple counter doping with ODTS/poly-L-lysine charge enhancers

confronted by the inherent physical limitations in scaling down Si technology,transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDcs)as alternatives are being tremendously researched and paid attention ***,mature counter doping technology for TMDcs is still elusive,and thus,a controllable and reversible charge enhancer is adopted for acceptor(or donor)-like doping via octadecyltrichlorosilane(ODTS)(or poly-L-lysine(PLL))***,multiple counter doping for TMDc field-effect transistors(FETs),combined with a threshold voltage(V;h)freezing scheme,renders the V_(th) modulation controllable,with negligible degradation and decent sustainability of FETs even after each treatment of a representative charge *** parallel,the counter doping mec.anism is systematically investigated via photoluminescence spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,atomic force microscopy(AFM),surface energy characterization,and measurement of optoelectronic properties under illumination with light of various *** impressively,complementary inverters,composed of type-converted molybdenum ditelluride(MoTe_(2)>FETs and hetero-TMDc FETs in enhancement mode,are demonstrated via respective ODTS/PLL ***,driving backplane application for micro-light-emitting diode(p-LED)displays and physical validation of a corresponding counter doping scheme even for flexible polyethylene terephthalate(PET)substrates could be leveraged to relieve daunting challenges in the application of nanoscale Si-based three-dimensional(3D)stacked systems,with potential adoption of ultralow power and monolithic optical interconnection technology.

A potential oncogenic role of the commonly observed E2F5 overexpression in hepatocellular carcinoma

AIM: To explore the expression pattern of E2F5 in primary hepatocellular carcinomas (Hccs) and elucidate the roles of E2F5 in hepatocarcinogenesis. METHODS: E2F5 expression was analyzed in 120 primary Hccs and 29 normal liver tissues by immunohistochemistry analysis. E2F5-small interfering RNA was transfected into HepG2, an E2F5-overexpressed Hcc cell line. After E2F5 knockdown, cell growth capacity and migrating potential were examined. RESULTS: E2F5 was significantly overexpressed in primary Hccs compared with normal liver tissues (P = 0.008). The E2F5-silenced cells showed significantly reduced proliferation (P = 0.004). On the colony formation and soft agar assays, the number of colonies was significantly reduced in E2F5-silenced cells (P = 0.004 and P = 0.009, respectively). E2F5 knockdown resulted in the accumulation of G0/G1 phase cells and a reduction of S phase cells. The number of migrating/invading cells was also reduced after E2F5 knockdown (P = 0.021). cONcLUSION: To our knowledge, this is the first evidence that E2F5 is commonly overexpressed in primary Hcc.and that E2F5 knockdown significantly repressed the growth of Hcc cells.

In vivo biodistribution of topical low molecular weight heparin-taurocholate in a neovascularized mouse cornea

AIM： To investigate the ocular biodistribution and clearance of topically administered 7-taurocholic acid conjugated low-molecular weight heparin（LHT7） in a neovascularized mouse cornea using an in vivo optical imaging system. METHODS： A total of 10 eyes of 6 to 8-week-old BALB/c mice were analyzed. corneal neovascularization（coNV） was induced in the inferior cornea（Ic） of each animal by penetrating the stroma with two interrupted sutures. The development of coNV was verified after one week and the area of each neovascularized region was measured. A near-infrared fluorescent probe of 20 μmol/L cy5.5 labeled LHT7（LHT7-cy5.5） in 0.02 mL solution was topically instilled onto the cornea in the experimental group（n=5）. Free-cy5.5 of 20 μmol/L in 0.02 mL was instilled in the control group（n=5）. In vivo optical images were obtained before instillation and 5 min, 2, 4, and 6 h after instillation. The intensities were separately measured at the superior cornea（Sc） and the Ic. RESULTS： The mean coNV areas were 1.97±0.17 mm^2 and 1.92±0.96 mm^2 in the experimental and control groups, respectively（P=0.832）. The Sc remained normal in all 10 subject animals. The Ic intensity of the LHT7-cy5.5 was greater than the Sc intensity at 5 min（P=0.038）, 2 h（P=0.041）, and 4 h（P=0.041） after application. The Ic intensity fell to less than half of its initial value（42.9%±8.6%） at 6 h in the experimental group. In the control mice, here were no significant differences in the free-cy5.5 intensity between the Ic.and Sc. cONcLUSION： Topically administered LHT7 shows a high biodistribution in coNV areas for 4 h and should be reapplied accordingly to maintain its effects. In vivo optical imaging can be a useful tool for evaluating the ocular biodistribution of a drug in an animal model.

Results The result of histologic examination was consistent with verruca ***,we started an immunotherapy with diphenylcyclopropenone（DPcP） as an initial treatment strategy for verruca plana. Discussion We report here on a healthy woman who developed multiple verruca plana lesions after undergoing eyebrow *** is thought that occurrence of verruca plana is associated with implantation of human papillomavirus during tattooing.
