Strawberry (Fragaria spp.) is one of the most important fruits classified as exotic fruits imported into Cameroon. To have an inventory of its cultivation in Cameroon, a survey study was carried out among eight farms of Fragaria spp. from January 2021 to February 2022. The plant was introduced in Cameroon in 2018. There are 13 varieties of Fragaria spp. currently cultivated. Among these 13 varieties, eleven are hybrids of Fragaria x ananassa (“Amiga”, “Amine”, “Camarosa”, “Chandler”, “Charlotte”, “Elsanta”, “Gariguette”, “Madame Moutot”, “Ostara”, “ruby gem” and “San Andreas”), and two of the hybrids of Fragaria vesca (“Maestro” and “Mara des bois”). The cropping system, irrigation system, and type of fertilizers applied differ from one strawberry farm to another. Biofertilizers (such as mycorrhizal), inorganic and organic fertilizers are actually used to improve production. The potential annual production of strawberries from January 2021 to February 2022, estimated based on the survey data, was 21.216 tons for all growers. Among these eight production farms, the Lolodorf BIO Farm presents 6000 kg (six tons) of strawberries and 100,000 stolons (seedlings) produced, from seven varieties of Fragaria spp. cultivated, with 6 varieties which are hybrids variety Fragaria x ananassa (“Amiga”, “Amine”, “Chandler”, “Gariguette”, “Madame Moutot”, and “ruby gem”), and one which is a hybrid of Fragaria vesca (“Mara des bois”). Certain diseases were also observed and recorded depending on the growing areas.

he bunker industry has faced negative perception to their trust and credibility in recent *** is further compounded by the need for the industry to answer new challenges to meet the requirement of the International Maritime Organization *** aim of this work is to illustrate how blockchain technology may be adopted for aiding in bunker dispute *** demonstrate how blockchain may aid in disputes within the bunker industry,this paper first examines the existing bunker supply process,which involves the formation of contracts under English law,the Bunker Delivery Notes,the different types of disputes that may arise during a bunker transaction and the methods of dispute resolution utilised by the ***,the current literature in relation to blockchain technology and blockchain smart contracts is ***,interviews and surveys within the industry have been conducted to identify the benefits and challenges in adopting blockchain *** research found that blockchains may benefit the bunker supply chain offering the effective resolution of bunker quality ***,blockchains may also serve as a verification tool for electronic bunker delivery notes,which may aid quality and quantity bunker disputes as well as compliance with the new International Maritime Organisation 2020 *** a result,despite the research having shown blockchain to be situationally dependent and having an element of legal uncertainty,blockchain does offer a solution to aid in bunker disputes and for improving the trust and credibility within the bunker industry.

Cisplatin remains an integral part of the treatment for muscle invasive bladder cancer.A large number of patients do not respond to cisplatin-based chemotherapy and efficacious salvage regimens are *** has offered a second line of treatment;however,only approximately 20% of patients respond,and molecular subtyping of tumors indicates there may be significant overlap in those patients that respond to cisplatin and those patients that respond to *** such,restoring sensitivity to cisplatin remains a major hurdle to improving patient *** potential source of compounds for enhancing cisplatin is naturally derived bioactive products such as phytochemicals,flavonoids and *** compounds can activate a diverse array of different pathways,many of which can directly promote or inhibit cisplatin *** purpose of this review is to understand current drug development in the area of natural products and to assess how these compounds may enhance cisplatin treatment in bladder cancer patients.

A simple,efficient simulator has been developed to predict the generation of photovoltaic energy and its storage in Li-ion batteries,for an autonomous drone with four wings covered by solar panels based on thin-film gallium arsenide photovoltaic cells(iii–V).This simulator allows prediction of the effective photovoltaic power produced by the solar panels as well as the battery pack voltage when the drone is *** parameters such as irra-diance,sun inclination angles,and drone Euler angles are considered as input *** measured photovoltaic power and battery pack voltage are in good agreement with the simulated values,making practical use by the XSun company *** parametric study shows the effects of climatic and geographic conditions on drone *** optimal weather conditions on a sunny day,drone flight can last 12 h.

Periprosthetic joint infection(PJI)is a rare but terrible complication in hip and knee arthroplasty,and the use of topical vancomycin powder(VP)has been investigated as a tool to potentially reduce its ***,there remains no consensus on its ***,the aim of this review is to provide an overview on the application of topical vancomycin in orthopaedic surgery focusing on the recent evidence and results in total joint *** systematic reviews and meta-analyses on topical VP in hip and knee arthroplasty have been recently published reporting sometimes conflicting *** from all being limited by the quality of the included studies(mostly level iii and IV),confounding variables are often included potentially leading to biased *** taken into consideration the exclusive use of VP in isolation,the available data,although very limited,suggest that it does not reduce the infection rate in routine primary hip and knee ***,we still cannot advise for a routinary application.A properly powered randomized-controlled trial would be necessary to clarify the role of VP in hip and knee *** on the analysis of the current evidence,the use of topical VP appears to be safe when used locally in terms of systemic adverse reactions,hence,if proven to be effective,it could bring great benefits due to its low cost and accessibility.

Background:Brain structural alterations of the striatum have been frequently observed in internet gaming disorder(IGD);however,the replicability of the results and the associations with social-affective dysregulations such as social anxiety remain to be ***:The present study combined a dimensional neuroimaging approach with both voxel-wise and data-driven multivariate approaches to(i)replicate our previous results on a negative association between IGD symptom load(assessed by the Internet Gaming Disorder Scale-Short Form)and striatal volume,(ii)extend these findings to female individuals,and(iii)employ multivariate and mediation models to determine common brain structural representations of IGD and social anxiety(assessed by the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale).results:In line with the original study,the voxel-wise analyses revealed a negative association between IGD and volumes of the bilateral *** beyond the earlier study investigating only male participants,the present study demonstrates that the association in the right caudate was comparable in both the male and the female *** examination using themultivariate approach revealed regionally different associations between IGD and social anxiety with striatal density representations in the dorsal striatum(caudate)and ventral striatum(nucleus accumbens).Higher levels of IGD were associated with higher social anxiety and the association was critically mediated by the multivariate neurostructural density variations of the ***:Altered striatal volumes may represent a replicable and generalizable marker of IGD ***,exploratory multivariate analyses revealed more complex and regional specific associations between striatal density and IGD as well as social anxiety *** in both tendencies may share common structural brain representations,which mediate the association between increased IGD and social anxiety.

We introduce a novel framework for 3 D scene reconstruction with simultaneous object annotation,using a pre-trained 2 D convolutional neural network(CNN),incremental data streaming,and remote exploration,with a virtual reality *** enables versatile integration of any 2 D box detection or segmentation *** integrate new approaches to(i)asynchronously perform dense 3 D-reconstruction and object annotation at interactive frame rates,(ii)efficiently optimize CNN results in terms of object prediction and spatial accuracy,and(iii)generate computationally-efficient colliders in large triangulated3 D-reconstructions at run-time for 3 D scene *** method is novel in combining CNNs with long and varying inference time with live 3 D-reconstruction from rGB-D camera *** further propose a lightweight data structure to store the 3 D-reconstruction data and object annotations to enable fast incremental data transmission for real-time exploration with a remote client,which has not been presented *** framework achieves update rates of 22 fps(SSD Mobile Net)and 19 fps(Mask rCNN)for indoor environments up to 800 m^(3).We evaluated the accuracy of 3 D-object *** work provides a versatile foundation for semantic scene understanding of large streamed3 D-reconstructions,while being independent from the CNN’s processing *** code is available for non-commercial use.

Over the past two decades, improved diagnosis, pharmaceutical therapies, and interventional strategies have impressively improved the armamentarium of modern cardiologists in the fight against the most incident and lethal diseases： heart failure, ischemic heart disease, and arrhythmia. The innovations in the field have mostly been enabled by inventions based on hypothesis-driven approaches. The invention and development of key cardiac biomarkers, such as natriuretic peptides and cardiac-specific troponins, may serve as examples.
