For the first time, sodium metasilicate （SMS） doped ammonium dihydrogen phosphate （ADP） crystal was grown by slow evaporation solution technique. The unit cell parameters of grown crystal were deter- mined by means of single crystal X-ray diffraction technique. The qualitative analysis of SMS doped ADP crystal was carried out using energy dispersive X-ray and Fourier transform infrared analysis. The in- crease in optical transparency of doped ADP crystal was ascertained in the range of 200-900 nm using the UV-visible spectral analysis. The vital optical constants were evaluated using the transmittance data to explore various optical device applications of crystal. The assertive influence of SMS on mechanical and dielectric behavior of ADP crystal was investigated by means of Vickers microhardness analysis and dielectric studies, respectively. The enhancement in second harmonic generation （SHG） efficiency of SMS doped ADP crystal with reference to potassium dihydrogen phosphate （KDP） and ADP was confirmed from Kurtz-Perry SHG test. The Kerr lensing nonlinearity in SMS doped ADP crystal was identified by means of Z-scan analysis and the third order nonlinear optical susceptibility （χ3） was found to be 6.19 × 10-5 esu, which vitalizes its application for laser stabilization systems.

Heart Rate variability(HRV)is the variation between beat-to-beat intervals in a consecutive *** provides enormous information about cardiac *** and echocardiography(2D echo)are the two major techniques used by medical practitioners to diagnose cardiac *** 2D echo provides more accurate results as compared to electrocardiography but costs ten times *** research provides low-cost solution for cardiac health diagnosis to the level of 2D echo derived from the *** and the 2D echo data of the same cohort are collected from 15 diabetics and 15 cardiac-diseased *** this research,we found a correlation between significant HRV parameters and 2D Echo *** correlation is obtained between LF/HF(low-frequency power to high-frequency power ratio),the HRV parameter,and LVEF(left ventricle ejection fraction),the 2D echo *** derived various mathematical models,to predict the LVEF,from LF/HF for both cardiac diseased and diabetics *** combined best-fit model is obtained using nonlinear regression with the goodness of fit,R^(2)=94.54%.

Traumatic brain injury is a major cause of death and disability worldwide,affecting over 69 million individuals ***-carbon metabolism has been shown to have beneficial effects after brain damage,such as ischemic ***,whether increasing one-carbon metabolite vitamins impacts traumatic brain injury outcomes in patients requires more *** aim of this review is to evaluate how one-carbon metabolites impact outcomes after the onset of traumatic brain ***,Web of Science,and Google Scholar databases were searched for studies that examined the impact of b-vitamin supplementation on traumatic brain injury *** search terms included combinations of the following words:traumatic brain injury,dietary supplementation,one-carbon metabolism,and *** focus of each literature search was basic science *** year of publication in the literature searches was not *** analysis of the literature has shown that dietary supplementation of b-vitamins has significantly improved the functional and behavioral recove ry of animals with traumatic brain injury compared to *** r,this improvement is dosage-dependent and is contingent upon the onset of supplementation and whether there is a sustained or continuous delive ry of vitamin supplementation post-traumatic brain *** details of supplementation post-traumatic brain injury need to be further ***,we conclude that b-vitamin supplementation improves behavioral outcomes and reduces cognitive impairment post-traumatic brain injury in animal model *** investigation in a clinical setting should be stro ngly considered in co njunction with current medical treatments for traumatic brain injury-affected individuals.

Objective To study the carbon tetrachloride-induced hepatoprotective activity in cow urine. Methods Effect of cow urine distillate on liver function was studied in vivo in rats intoxicated with carbon tetrachloride （CC14）. Hepatotoxicity was induced by a 1 ： 1 （v/v） mixture of CCl4 in olive oil （5 mL/kg i.p）. Protective effect of cow urine distillate （in three dose levels） and standard drug Silymarin （100 mg/kg, p.o） on liver function were studied in intoxicated rats. Parameters in the study included liver function tests and histological observations. Results The cow urine distillate decreased the levels of SGOT, SGPT, ALP, GGT, and total bilirubin in a dose-dependent manner （P〈0.05） as sylimarin. Conclusion The observed protective effects of cow urine distillate on liver function might be due to the presence of antioxidants in cow urine.

We report high-temperature thermodynamics for fcc silver by combining ab initio phonon dynamics to empirical quadratic temperature-dependent term for anharmonic part of Helmholtz free energy. The electronic free energy is added through an interpolation scheme, which connects ambient condition free electron gas model to Thomas-Fermi *** present study shows good agreement with experimental and reported findings for several thermal properties, and the discrepancy observed in some caloric properties is addressed. The decreases in the product of volume thermal expansion coefficient and isothermal bulk modulus and in the constant volume anharmonic lattice specific heat at high temperature are the clear evidences of proper account of anharmonicity. The present study also reveals that T-2-dependent anharmonic free energy is sufficient for correct evaluation of thermal pressure and conventional Grüneisen parameter. We observe that the intrinsic phonon anharmonicity starts dominating above characteristic temperature, which is attributed to higher order anharmonicity and can be related to higher order potential derivatives. We conclude that the uncorrelated and largeamplitude lattice vibrations at high temperature raise dominating intrinsic thermal stress mechanism, which surpasses the phonon-anharmonism and requires future consideration.

Net primary productivity and species diversity of herbaceous vegetation of banj-oak （Quercus leucotrichophora A. Camus） forest in Kumaun Himalaya, India were analyzed. Across different growth forms （tall forbs, short forbs, cushion and spreading forbs, grasses）, short forbs were most dominant component during rainy season （1VI=152） and winter season （IVI=167） and grasses during the winter season （IVI=148）. Maximum above-ground production occurred during rainy season （132.5 g m-2） and minimum during winter season （2.8 g m-~）. below-ground production was maximum （85.9 g m-x） during winter season and minimum （14.9 g m-x） during summer season. Annual net shoot production was 15o g m-~ and below-ground production was 138 g m-~. Of the total input 61% was channeled to above- ground parts and 39% to below-ground parts.
