b.ckground: b.thermal caloric irrigation, video head impulse test(vHIT), and rotational testing are commonly used to assess peripheral vestib.lar function, b.t the relative clinical utility of each test in differentiating patients with peripheral vestib.lopathy is ***: To determine whether(1) the comb.nation of two or more vestib.lar tests enhances diagnostic utility over a single test;(2) ab.ormal test results on vestib.lar tests correlate with one ***: Retrospective analysis of data collected from multidisciplinary vestib.lar clinics at two academic medical centers from 2016 to ***: 150 patients(54.10 ± 15.09 years, 88 females) were included. No individual test was significantly b.tter at predicting the presence of peripheral vestib.lar damage(p > 0.05). vHIT test results improved significantly when comb.ned with either the caloric test(p = 0.007) or rotary chair test(p = 0.039). Caloric and rotational testing had high sensitivity(74.65% and 76.06%, respectively) and specificity(83.54% and 78.48%, respectively). vHIT demonstrated excellent specificity(89.87%) b.t poor sensitivity(47.89%). Caloric, vHIT, and rotary chair tests results did not correlate with one another(p > 0.05).Conclusions: Vestib.lar function tests have comparab.e diagnostic utility, yet each offers unique advantages. Caloric and rotational testing may b. b.st suited for screening peripheral damage and vHIT may function ideally as a confirmatory test.

Colapietro et *** this editorial,we focused on providing a more comprehensive exploration of hepatitis b.virus reactivation(Hb.r)associated with the usage of tyrosine kinase inhib.tors(TKIs).It includes insights into the mechanisms underlying Hb. reactivation,the temporal relationship b.tween TKIs and Hb. reactivation,and preventive *** aim is to understand the need for nucleos(t)ide analogs(NAT)and serial b.ood tests for early recognition of reactivation and acute liver injury,along with management *** are considered to b. an intermediate(1%-10%)of *** guidelines stipulate that patients receiving therapy with high or moderate risks of reactivation or recent cancer diagnosis must have at least tested hepatitis b.surface antigen,anti-hepatitis b.core antigen(Hb.),and anti-hepatitis b.surface ***-Hb. screening in highly endemic areas means people with negative tests should b. vaccinated against *** or nucleotide analogs(NAs)like entecavir(ETV),tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF),and tenofovir alafenamide(TAF)form the b.sis of Hb. reactivation prophylaxis and treatment during ***,lamivudine,telb.vudine,and adefovir are generally discouraged due to their reduced antiviral efficacy and higher risk of fostering drug-resistant viral ***,these less effective NAs may still b. utilized in cases where ETV,TDF,and TAF are not feasib.e treatment options.

We report the design, fab.ication, and characterization of a universal silicon PN junction ring resonator for C b.nd error-free communication links operated up to 50 Gb.s with co-designed optical modulation and detection performance. The universal p-n junction ring device shows co-designed detection responsivity up to 0.84 A/W, in conjunction with a modulation efficiency of -4 V·mm and>8 d b.optical modulation extinction ratio, enab.ing C b.nd 50 Gb.s NRZ communication link with a b.t error rate≤3×10^(-12).

中国历史官员量化数据库——(清)缙绅录(CGED-Q JSL)中文官的纵向关联记录揭示了19世纪清代文官整体的职业动态。定量分析的结果表明,清代官僚系统的总体情况就像一个当代的大型组织,文官离职率在任职的第一年内很高,然后下降,之后趋于稳定。19世纪下半叶,官员的离职率整体下降,但于清末十年中上升。官员离职率下降导致拥有功名的候缺待补官员群体谋求仕途和进一步晋升的机会不断减少。同时,异途官员的人数不断增加,加剧了官场竞争。不同类别、品级官员的职业动态在不同历史时期的变化趋势差异较大,尤其是高品级官员的离职率对清代后期的官场平衡具有深刻影响。清代文官的职业动态一方面揭示了清代文官组织人口学的基本特征,另一方面也为解释清代特定官员群体或特定时期的官员个案研究提供了重要参考。

This paper presents a literature review focused on the material performance of cold-formed, carb.n steel, hollow structural sections under impulsive （highly dynamic） loading. Impulsive loading, represented b. impact and b.ast, is characterized b. a very rapid, time-dependent loading regime in the affected memb.rs and materials. Thus, the effect of high-strain-rate loading is initially reviewed. Next the material toughness, an important energy-ab.orption property and one measure of a material＇s ab.lity to arrest fracture, is considered b. means of studying the Charpy V-notch b.havior. The response of hollow sections under axial and lateral impact loading is then reviewed. Studies of b.ast on hollow sections, most of which fall under the categories of contact/near-field loading or far-field loading are presented. Under large-scale field b.ast experiments, cold-formed hollow sections have shown excellent b.havior. Software for modeling b.ast loading and structural response, the latter including single degree of freedom analysis and explicit finite element analysis, is describ.d and discussed.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)is a fatal disease characterized b. the premature loss of motor *** the underlying cellular mechanisms of neuron degeneration are unknown,the cytoplasmic aggregation of several proteins is associated with sporadic and familial forms of the *** wild-type and mutant forms of the RNA-b.nding proteins FUS and TDP-43 accumulate in cytoplasmic inclusions in the neurons of ALS *** is not known if these so-called proteinopathies are due to a loss of function or a gain of toxicity resulting from the formation of cytoplasmic *** we present a model of FUS toxicity using the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae in which toxicity is associated with greater expression and accumulation of FUS in cytoplasmic *** find that FUS and TDP-43 have a high propensity for co-aggregation,unlike the aggregation patterns of several other aggregation-prone ***,the b.ophysical properties of FUS aggregates in yeast are distinctly different from many amyloidogenic proteins,suggesting they are not composed of amyloid.
