Influence of original microstructure on the transformation behavior and mechanical properties of ultra-high-strength TRIP-aided steel

The transformation behavior and tensile properties of an ultra-high-strength transformation-induced plasticity （TRIP） steel （***） were investigated by different heat treatments for automobile applications. The results show that F-TRIP steel, a tradi- tional TRIP steel containing as-cold-rolled ferfite and pearlite as the original microstructure, consists of equiaxed grains of intercritical ferrite surrounded by discrete particles of M/RA and B. In contrast, M-TRIP steel, a modified TRiP-aided steel with martensite as the original mi- crostlucture, containing full martensite as the original microstructure is comprised of lath-shaped grains of ferrite separated by lath-shaped martensite/retained austenite and bainite. Most of the austenite in F-TRIP steel is granular, while the austenite in M-TRIP steel is lath-shaped. The volume fraction of the retained austenite as well as its carbon content is lower in F-TRIP steel than in M-TRIP steel, and austenite grains in M-TRIP steel are much finer than those in F-TRIP steel. Therefore, M-TRIP steel was concluded to have a higher austenite stability, re- sulting in a lower transformation rate and consequently contributing to a higher elongation compared to F-TRIP steel. Work hardening be- havior is also discussed for both types of steel.

We investigate high-order harmonic generation （HHG） ofli＋ ion driven by an intense infrared （IR） laser field in corn-bination with a weak XUV pulse. To achieve this, we first construct an accurate single-active electron angular-momentumdependent model potential of li＋ ion, by which the accurate singlet energy levels of li＋ for the ground state and excited states with higher quantum numbers can be obtained. Then, we solve numerically the three dimensional time-dependent Schr/Sdinger equation of li＋ ion by means of the generalized pseudospectral method to obtain HHG. Our results show that the strength of assisted XUV is not amplified during the harmonic generation process, but the yield of HHG power spectrum in the whole plateau has a significant enhancement. Furthermore, the optimal phase delay between the IR and XUV pulses allows the production of ultrabroadband supercontinuum spectra. By superposing some harmonics, a strong new single 27-attosecond ultrashort pulse can be obtained.

Silent information regulator 2-related enzyme 1(SIRT1)is an aging-related protein activated with ***,we evaluated the role of SIRT1 in aging-related erectile *** expression of SIRT1 was modulated in aged Sprague-Dawley rats following intragastric administration of resveratrol(Res;5 mg kg^(-1)),niacinamide(NAM;500 mg kg^(-1))or Res(5 mg kg^(-1))+tadalafil(Tad;phosphodiesterase-5[PDE5]inhibitor;5 mg kg^(-1))for 8 ***,we determined erectile function by the ratio of intracavernosal pressure(IcP)/mean systemic arterial pressure(MAP).Cavernosal tissues were extracted to evaluate histological changes,cell apoptosis,nitric oxide(NO)/cyclic guanosine monophosphate(cGMP),the superoxide dismutase(SOD)/3,4-methylenedioxyamphetamine(MDA)level,and the expression of SIRT1,p53,and forkhead box O3(FOX03a)using immunohistochemistry,terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase(TdT)-mediated 2'-deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate(dUTP)nick-end labeling(TUNEL),enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays,and western blot *** with the control,Res treatment significantly improved erectile function,reflected by an increased content of smooth muscle and endothelium,NO/cGMP and SOD activity,and reduced cell apoptosis and MDA *** effect of Res was improved by adding *** addition,the protein expression of SIRT1 was increased in the Res group,accompanied by decreased p53 and FOxO3a *** addition,inhibition of SIRT1 by NAM treatment resulted in adverse results compared with Res ***1 activation ameliorated aging-related erectile dysfunction,supporting the potential of SIRT1 as a target for erectile dysfunction treatment.

Respiratory Response of Dormant Nectarine Vegetative Buds to High Temperature Stress

High temperature stress （HT） is efficient in breaking endo-dormancy of perennial trees. The effects of HT （50°C） on the respiration of dormant nectarine （Prunus persica var. nectariana cv. Shuguang） vegetative buds were evaluated in the research. We found that bud respiration was transiently inhibited by HT and the pentose phosphate pathway （PPP） and the cytochrome C pathway （CYT） were significantly affected. On the substrate level, PPP was activated in the HT-treated buds compared with the control group. However, the activation did mot occur until hours after HT treatment. The tricarboxylic acid cycle （TCA） in both the HT-treated buds and in the control group proceeded at a low level most of the time compared with total respiration. On the electron transfer level, CYT was transiently inhibited by HT but became significantly active in the later stage. CYT operation in the control group exhibited an attenuation process. The alternative pathway （ALT） fluctuated both in the HT-treated samples and in the control. The results suggest that the temporary CYT inhibition and the following PPP activation may be involved in HT-induced bud dormancy release and budburst mechanisms.

The creep properties, microstructural characteristics and creep mechanisms of as-cast Mg-5Bi-5Sn(BT55) alloy without and with Mn(BTM550) addition were investigated via creep at 423, 448, and 473 K as well as stresses of 30, 50 and 75 MPa. The results indicate that adding Mn can result in the formation of primary and the dynamic precipitated α-Mn phases. In addition, the morphology of the precipitated Mg_(3)Bi_(2) phase and the orientation relationship between Mg_(2)Sn precipitates and α-Mg can be effectively modified. Tailoring the microstructural characteristics is responsible for the improved creep performance of BTM550 alloy. The dominant creep mechanisms in BT55 and BTM550 alloys are dislocation cross-slip and climb, respectively. Furthermore, twinning and pyramidal slip play an assisting part in both alloys during creep process.

To investigate the effects of crop rotation on oilseed flax growth and yield,three season experiments were carried out in semi-arid area of Dingxi,Gansu from 2017 to *** designed 6 rotational systems were FFF(flax-flaxflax),PFF(potato-flax-flax),WPF(wheat-potato-flax),FPF(flax-potato-flax),PWF(potato-wheat-flax)and FWF(flax-wheat-flax).Flax growth and yield investigation results showed that crop rotation increased leaf area duration,dry matter accumulation,seed nitrogen accumulation,water and nitrogen used efficiency,compared with continuous cropping of *** yields in rotation systems were 22.23%–44.11%greater than those of continuous cropping *** in wheat and potato stubbles had higher tiller number(21.43%and 29.46%),more branches(14.24%and 6.97%),effective capsules(26.35%and 28.79%),higher water use efficiency(40.26%and 33.5%),higher nitrogen partial factor productivity(33.85%and 31.46%)and dry matter(41.98%and 25.47%)than those in oilseed flax *** concluded that crop rotation system was an effective measure for oilseed flax productivity in semi-arid area by improving yield components and promoting biomass.
