The leaflet architecture of Cyclocarya cf. paliurus （Batal.） Ilj.nskaj. from the Hunchun Formation （Middle Eocene） shows similarity to that of modem C. paliurus （Batal.） Ilj.nskaj. and the specimen is the oldest fossil record in Europe and Asia. The distributions of C. cf. paliurus and other fossil records, such as Glyptostrobus, Metasequoia, Nyssa, and Liquidambar, in Hunchun flora show that it would have been a warmer-temperature to subtropical climate in Hunchun District during the Eocene period.

The central dogma of biology holds that the transcription of DNA into RNA and the translation of RNA into proteins forms the primary axis of biological activity[1].Following maj.r advances in the description of the complex glycan and lipid chains that are added onto these basic building blocks,the glycome and lipidome have recently been added to this doctrine as an exciting new extension named the"paracentral dogma"[2].However,it has been pointed out that biological systems can indude many layers,which are descibed in modern omics technology platforms relat-ing to both cell-intrinsic and cell-extrinsic layers of control,including metabolomic,microbiomic,immunological,epigenomic,epitranscriptomic,proteomic and phosphoproteomic layers[3].

Spent mushroom substrate(SMS)is an abundant residue generated by the mushroom industry,which is mostly *** this study,the SMS of four cultivated mushrooms were evaluated as potential sources of ligninolytic *** ostreatus,***,*** and Ganoderma lucidum were cultivated in two different substrates to determine growth,mushroom yields and ligninolytic activity of laccase(Lac)and manganese peroxidase(MnP).Maximum activities in the SMS were 3.731 U/g Lac and 0.191 U/g MnP,both for *** mushroom substrates were also analyzed,and higher activities were found in almost all samples.A correlation test between mushroom yields and ligninolytic activities of each culture was made,and we found that high enzymatic activity in the substrate did not result in high mushroom productivity or vice *** SMS was a good source of ligninolytic *** activity depended on the mushroom species and its affinity to the substrate,and it was not influenced by the mushroom *** of mushrooms in diverse lignocellulosic substrates is gaining interest,and ob-taining ligninolytic enzymes from residual SMS is an excellent alternative in the circular economy concept.

Background Elderly patients with acute coronary syndromes(ACS)are at higher risk both for ischemic and bleeding *** guidelines recommend the PRECISE-DAPT score for bleeding risk stratification in this setting,but no study assessed its applicability in elderly *** study aimed to assess the performance of the PRECISE-DAPT score in a series of non-selected elderly patients with ACS from routine clinical *** The IFFANIAM registry included prospectively patients aged>75 years with ST segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI).Main outcome measured was the incidence of relevant bleeding after discharge(bleeding leading to hospital readmission,need for transfusion,intervention,stop of antithrombotic drugs or death).Bleeding risk was classified:(A)according to PRECISE-DAPT values above or not the recommended cut-off point(>25);and(B)according to the quartiles of PRECISE-DAPT values observed in the IFFANIAM series(QI:45).Results A total of 208 patients were *** age was 81.9±4.5 *** patients(92.6%)had a PRECISE-DAPT value>25.A total of 25 patients(12.0%)had bleeding events and 49 patients(23.6%)*** significant differences regarding the incidence of bleeding were observed according to the recommended cutt of point>***,a progressive increase in the incidence of bleeding was observed across PRECISE-DAPT quartiles observed in this series(P=0.038).Conclusions The vast maj.rity of elderly patients have PRECISE-DAPT values above the recommended cut-off point for bleeding *** different cut-off points could be a more rational approach for predicting bleeding risk in these complex patients.

In a conventional flat plate solar cell under direct sunlight,light is received from the solar disk,but is re-emitted *** isotropic emission corresponds to a significant entropy increase in the solar cell,with a corresponding drop in ***,using a detailed balance model,we show that limiting the emission angle of a high-quality GaAs solar cell is a feasible route to achieving power conversion efficiencies above 38%with a single *** highest efficiencies are predicted for a thin,light trapping cell with an ideal back reflector,though the scheme is robust to a non-ideal back *** with a conventional planar cell geometry illustrates that limiting emission angle in a light trapping geometry not only allows for much thinner cells,but also for significantly higher overall efficiencies with an excellent rear ***,we present ray-tracing and detailed balance analysis of two angular coupler designs,show that significant efficiency improvements are possible with these couplers,and demonstrate initial fabrication of one coupler design.
