Two-dimensional(2D)mesoporous pseudocapacitive polymer/graphene heterostructures combine the advanced merits of.2D materials and mesoporous materials,possessing unique nanosheet structure,large specif.c surf.ce area(SSA),abundant oxygen/nitrogen-containing groups,desirable electrical conductivity and admirable electrochemical redox activity,and hold great potential f.r constructing high-perf.rmance planar micro-supercapacitors(MSCs).Herein,we demonstrate the interf.cial assembly of.2D mesoporous polydopamine/graphene(mPDG)heterostructures with well-def.ned mesopore structure(12 nm)and adjustable thickness(7.5–14.1 nm)f.r planar high-energy pseudocapacitive *** to medium thickness,exposed mesopore of.12 nm and large SSA of.108 m^(2)/g,the m PDG with 10.8 nm thickness reveals prominent mass capacitance of.419 f.g and impressive cycling stability with~96%capacitance retention af.er 5000 ***,the symmetric mPDG-based MSCs with“water-in-salt”gel electrolyte present wide voltage window of.1.6 V,superior volumetric energy density of.11.5 mWh/cm^(3),outstanding f.exibility and self.integration ***,this work of.ers a new platf.rm of.controllably synthesizing 2D mesoporous heterostructures f.r high-perf.rmance MSCs.

ChinaMu is the largest sequence-indexed Mutator(Mu)transposon insertional library in maize(Zea.ma.s).In this study,we made signif.cant improvements to the size and quality of.the ChinaMu *** developed a new Mu-tag isolation method Mu-Tn5-seq(MuT-seq).Compared to the previous method used by ChinaMu,MuT-seq recovered 1/3 more germinal insertions,while requiring only about 1/14 of.the sequencing volume and 1/5 of.the experimental *** MuT-seq,we identif.ed 113,879 germinal insertions f.om 3,168 Mu-active f. *** also assembled a high-quality genome f.r the Mu-active line Mu-starter,which harbors the initial active MuDR element and was used as the pollen donor f.r the mutation *** the Mu-starter genome,we recovered 33,662(15.6%)additional germinal insertions in 3,244(7.4%)genes in the Mu-starter *** Mu-starter genome also improved the assignment of.117,689(54.5%)germinal *** newly upgraded ChinaMu dataset currently contains 215,889 high-quality germinal *** insertions cover 32,224 pan-genes in the Mu-starter and B73Ref. genomes,including 23,006(80.4%)core genes shared by the two *** a test model,we investigated Mu insertions in the pentatricopeptide repeat(PPR)superf.mily,discovering insertions f.r 92%(449/487)of.PPR genes in ChinaMu,demonstrating the usef.lness of.ChinaMu as a f.nctional genomics resource f.r maize.

The two-dimensional(2D)Janus monolayers are promising in spintronic device application due to their enhanced magnetic couplings and Curie *** der Waals CrCl_(3) monolayer has been experimentally proved to have an in-plane magnetic easy axis and a low Curie temperature of.17 K,which will limit its application in spintronic *** this work,we propose a new Janus monolayer Cr_(2)Cl_(3)S_(3) based on the f.rst principles *** phonon dispersion and elastic constants conf.rm that Janus monolayer Cr_(2)Cl_(3)S_(3) is dynamically and mechanically *** Monte Carlo simulation results based on magnetic exchange constants reveal that Janus monolayer Cr_(2)Cl_(3)S_(3) is an intrinsic f.rromagnetic semiconductor with TC of.180 K,which is much higher than that of.CrCl_(3) due to the enhanced f.rromagnetic coupling caused by S ***,the magnetic easy axis of.Janus Cr_(2)Cl_(3)S_(3) can be tuned to the perpendicular direction with a large magnetic anisotropy energy(maE)of.142eV/***,the ef.ect of.biaxial strain on the magnetic property of.Janus monolayer Cr_(2)Cl_(3)S_(3) is *** is f.und that the Curie temperature is more robust under tensile *** work indicates that the Janus monolayer Cr_(2)Cl_(3)S_(3) presents increased Curie temperature and out-of.plane magnetic easy axis,suggesting greater application potential in 2D spintronic devices.

f.uctokinase(f.K) is a regulator of.f.uctose signaling in plants and gateway proteins that catalyze the initial step in f.uctose metabolism through phosphorylation. Our previous study demonstrated that Mdf.K2 protein exhibit not only high af.inity f.r f.uctose, but also high enzymatic activity due to sorbitol. However, genomewide identif.cation of.the Mdf.K gene f.mily and their evolutionary dynamics in apple are yet to be reported.A systematic genome-wide analysis in this study identif.ed a total of.nine Mdf.K gene members, which could phylogenetically be clustered into seven groups. Chromosomal location and synteny analysis of.Mdf.Ks revealed that their expansion in the apple genome is primarily driven by tandem and segmental duplication *** expression patterns of.Mdf.Ks were observed in f.ur source-sink tissues and at f.ve dif.erent apple f.uit developmental stages, which suggested their potential crucial roles in the apple f.uit development and sugar accumulation. Reverse transcription-quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR) identif.ed candidate NaCl or drought stress responsive Mdf.Ks, and transgenic apple plants overexpressing Mdf.K2 exhibited considerably enhanced salinity tolerance. Our results will be usef.l f.r understanding the f.nctions of.Mdf.Ks in the regulation of.apple f.uit development and salt stress response.

Two-line hybrid rice with excellent quality is pref.rred in the Chinese ***,there is a trade-of. between reducing costs f.r hybrid seed production and lowering the outcrossing rate of.the sterile line,which is largely determined by the stigma exsertion rate(SER).In this study,we constructed mutants of.male sterility lines with improved grain length(GL)and SER in three elite early-season indica rice varieties through targeted manipulation of.the TMS5 and GS3 genes using CRISPR/Cas9-mediated multiplex *** obtained a series of.marker-f.ee gs3 single mutants and gs3tms5 double mutants with signif.cantly higher SER,longer grains,and increased 1000-grain weight compared with the wild type(WT).Importantly,the typically thermo-sensitive genic male sterile(TGMS)trait with a higher SER was observed in gs3tms5 mutants,and their f. hybrids exhibited remarkable improvements in grain shape and yield-related *** f.ndings provided an ef.icient method to generate new valuable TGMS germplasm with improved SER through the mutagenesis of.GS3 and TMS5 synergistically,and demonstrated that GS3 had pleiotropic ef.ects on grain size,SER,and grain quality in early-season indica rice.

Spinel-type cathodes are considered an optimal substitute f.r conventional layered oxide cathodes owing to their use of.inexpensive and earth-abundant manganese as the redox-active ***,the introduction of.cation disorder can ef.ectively suppress the detrimental two-phase reaction to realize high capacities in a wide voltage ***,the continuous capacity decay during cycles has hindered the widespread application of.these cathode *** f.uorides exhibit excellent electrochemical stability at high voltage;theref.re,in this study,the direct f. gas reaction with a partially disordered spinel cathode(Li_(1.6)Mn_(1.6)O_(3.7)f.(0.3,)LMOf..6)was initially applied to investigate the impacts of.f.uorination on the surf.ce structure and electrochemical *** inorganic f.uorinated layer,mainly containing Lif.was distributed unif.rmly on the surf.ce of.LMOf..6nanoparticles af.er f.uorination f.r an appropriate time without the turbulence caused by the valency of.manganese cation,which improved the capacity retention and rate capability by the suppression of.structural damage,parasitic reaction,and cation *** LMOf..6cathode f.uorinated f.r 0.5 h exhibited a capacity of.83.6 mah·g^(-1)at 50 ma·g^(-1)and an enhanced capacity retention of.29.6%af.er 50 cycles in the voltage range of..5-4.8 V,as compared to the pristine LMOf..6 with only27.9%capacity retention.

Background Pork quality is af.ected by the type of.muscle f.bers, which is closely related to meat color, tenderness and juiciness. Exosomes are tiny vesicles with a diameter of.approximately 30–150 nm that are secreted by cells and taken up by recipient cells to mediate communication. Exosome-mediated muscle-f.t tissue crosstalk is a newly discovered mechanism that may have an important ef.ect on intramuscular f.t deposition and with that on meat quality. Various of.adipose tissue-derived exosomes have been discovered and identif.ed, but the identif.cation and f.nction of.muscle exosomes, especially porcine f.st/slow myotube exosomes, remain unclear. Here, we f.rst isolated and identif.ed exosomes secreted f.om porcine extensor digitorum longus(EDL) and soleus(SOL), which represent f.st and slow muscle, respectively, and f.rther explored their ef.ects on lipid accumulation in longissimus dorsi *** Porcine SOL-derived exosomes(SOL-EXO) and EDL-derived exosomes(EDL-EXO) were f.rst identif.ed and their average particle sizes were approximately 84 nm with double-membrane disc-shapes as observed via transmission electron microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. Moreover, the intramuscular f.t content of.the SOL was greater than that of.the EDL at 180 days of.age, because SOL intramuscular adipocytes had a stronger lipid-accumulating capacity than those of.the EDL. Raman spectral analysis revealed that SOL-EXO protein content was much greater than that of.EDL-EXO. Proteomic sequencing identif.ed 72 proteins that were signif.cantly dif.erentially expressed between SOL-EXO and EDL-EXO, 31 of.which were downregulated and 41 of.which were upregulated in *** Our f.ndings suggest that muscle-f.t tissue interactions occur partly via SOL-EXO promoting adipogenic activity of.intramuscular adipocytes.

Wolf.erry(Lycium barbarum L.)is important f.r health care and ecological ***,it f.ces problems of.low productivity and resource utilization during *** reasonable models f.r water and nitrogen management is important f.r solving these *** on f.eld trials in 2021 and 2022,this study analyzed the ef.ects of.controlling soil water and nitrogen application levels on wolf.erry height,stem diameter,crown width,yield,and water(WUE)and nitrogen use ef.iciency(NUE).The upper and lower limits of.soil water were controlled by the percentage of.soil water content to f.eld water capacity(θ_(f.),and f.ur water levels,i.e.,adequate irrigation(W0,75%-85%θ_(f.),mild water def.cit(W1,65%-75%θ_(f.),moderate water def.cit(W2,55%-65%θ_(f.),and severe water def.cit(W3,45%-55%θ_(f.)were used,and three nitrogen application levels,i.e.,no nitrogen(N0,0 kg/hm^(2)),low nitrogen(N1,150 kg/hm^(2)),medium nitrogen(N2,300 kg/hm^(2)),and high nitrogen(N3,450 kg/hm^(2))were *** results showed that irrigation and nitrogen application signif.cantly af.ected plant height,stem diameter,and crown width of.wolf.erry at dif.erent growth stages(Pmaximum values were observed in W1N2,W0N2,and W1N3 *** weight per plant and yield of.wolf.erry f.rst increased and then decreased with increasing nitrogen application under the same water *** weight per hundred grains and dry weight percentage increased with increasing nitrogen application under W0 ***,under other water treatments,the values f.rst increased and then decreased with increasing nitrogen *** and its component of.wolf.erry f.rst increased and then decreased as water def.cit increased under the same nitrogen *** water use ef.iciency(IWUE,8.46 kg/(hm^(2)·mm)),WUE(6.83 kg/(hm^(2)·mm)),partial f.ctor productivity of.nitrogen(Pf.N,2.56 kg/kg),and NUE(14.29 kg/kg)reached their highest values in W2N2,W1N2,W1N2,and W1N1 treatments.R
