Higher strength and lower degradation rate of Fe compared to magnesium and zinc have made it the most reliable for orthopaedic ***,this paper studies the morphological and mechanical characteristics of porous Fe fabricated using subtractive manufacturing for load bearing bone *** types of porous Fe(19%,39%and 59%)were prepared and then modelled into a 3D model for finite element *** mechanical properties evaluated through finite element analysis were then validated by the experimental *** fluid dynamics was done in this study to evaluate the permeability and wall shear stress of the porous *** between morphological indices,mechanical properties,shear stress and permeability were then *** mechanical behaviour of porous Fe investigated through finite element analysis was in good agreement with the experimental *** mechanical properties of porous Fe specimen particularly sample C(modulus:5.63 GPa and yield strength:145.7 MPa)was tailored to the cancellous bone(modulus:0.5 GPa-18 GPa and yield strength:101 MPa-169.6 MPa).As the porosity increased,the performance of porous Fe regarding mechanical properties and morphological properties were enhanced.

THE EXPRESSION OF RECEPTORS FOR VASOACTIVE INTESTINAL PEPTIDE AND SECRETIN IN COLON NEOPLASMS

Objective: To investigate the expression of the receptors for vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) and secretin in colon cancer. Methods: This study visualized and characterized the receptors for VIP and secretin in the sequence of human tumor-free colon, adenoma, carcinoma, liver metastasis using storage phosphor autoradiography. Results: Receptors for VIP and secretin were demonstrated in tumor-free colon and colon tumors. A decrease in affinity of VIP receptors was shown in the colonic liver metastasis (Kd = 3.30 nmol) when compared with tumor-free colon (Kd = 0.82 nmol). An up-regulation of receptors for secretin was found in colonic liver metastases. Conclusions: VIP and secretin were both expressed on normal colon tissues. Binding of VIP decreased while secretin increased in colonic liver metastasis. A down-regulation of receptors for VIP in colonic liver metastases may helpful to understand the migration of colon cancer.

Objective:To characterise a collection of pili-carrying and none pili-carrying pneumococcal isolates of clinical origin for serotypes,antibiotic resistance and ***:In total,42 clinical isolates were collected between October 2017 and December *** isolates were analysed for antimicrobial susceptibility,serotype distribution,detection of pneumococcal virulence and pilus *** sequence typing was performed only for piliated isolates,followed by phylogenetic ***:The common isolation sites among the pneumococcal isolates were tracheal aspirate(28.6%),blood(26.2%),and sputum(23.8%).Fifty percent isolates were resistant to erythromycin,tetracycline(50.0%)and trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole(43.0%).The most frequent were serotypes 19F(28.6%),6A/B(23.8%)and 19A(14.3%).Piliated isolates were detected in a small proportion(33.3%);64.3%were ***320 was the prevalent sequence type among the piliated isolates and genetically related to the Pneumococcal Molecular Epidemiology Network clones Taiwan19F-14(CC271).In the phylogenetic analysis,some piliated isolates showed a close association having similar ST320,carrying serotype 19A and both pilus genes indicating their clonal ***:Pneumococcal lineages of piliated isolates have been globally disseminated and pili could have played a role in the spread of antibiotic resistant clones.

随着信息化和数字化的不断发展,科研出版物中的数字化比重也日益增加。一方面,数字化科研数据和学术文献的迅猛增长给科研用户的学术交流提供了诸多便利;另一方面,传统的PDF文档保存格式和知识表达方式已无法满足当下科研用户在新的科... 详细信息

随着信息化和数字化的不断发展,科研出版物中的数字化比重也日益增加。一方面,数字化科研数据和学术文献的迅猛增长给科研用户的学术交流提供了诸多便利;另一方面,传统的PDF文档保存格式和知识表达方式已无法满足当下科研用户在新的科研环境下深度研读文献的需求。为适应信息时代的要求,学术期刊加快了自身的数字化进程。然而在学术期刊数字化蓬勃发展的同时,其存在的问题也日益凸显。由于不同来源的学术期刊采取不同的数据规范和标准,使得其数字资源间难以统一口径,给检索和利用带来困难。同时,不同出版商或服务提供商各自为政,学术期刊数字资源之间缺少必要的关联,传统的数字化方式难以提供高度集成的知识,科研用户必须花费大量时间在资源查找上。总体来说,传统的数字出版方式已无法适应用户对知识进行检索与利用的需求。语义出版是建立在资源深度揭示与高度集成基础上的信息组织方式,受到了越来越多的关注。作为数字出版的高级形态,语义出版的出现丰富了学术期刊信息服务的资源类型,为创新学术期刊组织与发布方式提供了新的思路;同时,通过对知识单元进行语义标识提高资源对象间的关联度,有助于实现资源内容的按需重组与发布。本文在系统梳理语义出版与信息资源整合相关理论的基础上,归纳并总结了学术期刊信息资源聚合的现状和进行数字资源聚合的意义,接着阐明了基于语义的信息资源整合对学术期刊语义出版的重要作用,并以爱思唯尔语义出版模式为例,重点展示了语义出版下的资源查询和资源利用情况。在此基础上,本文提出了面向语义出版的学术期刊数字资源聚合模型,然构建了医学领域“冠心病”的实例,通过设计实验的方法进行实证。最后通过与web of science数据库进行对比,对资源聚合的结果进行分析和评价,验证了本文提出的基于语义的数字资源聚合方法在学术期刊数字出版中的可行性。

虽然奥氏体处理过程中Nb的作用已十分清楚，但在随后阶段中对这一元素固溶的浓度还有一些争论，特别是对认为在多边形铁素体中Nb过饱和后最终均匀析出还一直存在一些不确定性，本研究的目的是阐明冷却过程中Nb的析出顺序，通过一个系统的工作和细致选择工艺条件以产生关于Nb初始状态的不同情况。由在873—1023K（600—750℃）范围内不同温度下模拟冷却，在实验室内对Nb微合金化钢进行热形变模拟，透射电镜（TEM）分析表明，在较高卷曲温度下析出的中间相是NbC，当在873K（600℃）时，在铁素体中产生常规的均匀析出并有Baker—Nutting取向关系。

Best approach for the repair of distal biceps tendon ruptures

The preferred treatment of distal biceps tendon ruptures is by operative repair. However, the best approach for repair(single vs double incision) is still subject of debate. Grewal and colleagues recently presented the results of a randomized clinical trial evaluating two different surgical approaches for the repair of distal biceps tendon ruptures. Despite the fact that this article currently presents the highest level of evidence for the surgical repair of distal biceps tendon ruptures, we have some comments on the study that might be interesting to discuss. We think that some of the results and conclusions presented in this study need to be interpreted in the light of these comments.

Fracture of the radial head is a common injury. Over the last decades, the radial head is increasingly recognized as an important stabilizer of the elbow. In order to maintain stability of the injured elbow, goals of treatment of radial head fractures have become more and more towards restoring function and stability of the elbow. As treatment strategies have changed over the years, with an increasing amount of literature on this subject, the purpose of this article was to provide an overview of current concepts of the management of radial head fractures.
