Bi2Te3-based materials have drawn much attention from the thermoelectric community due to their excellent thermoelectric performance near room ***,the sta.ility of existing n-type Bi2（Te,Se）3materials is still low due to the evaporation energy of Se (37.70 kJ mol-1) being much lower than that of Te (52.55 kJ mol-1).The evaporated Se from the material causes problems in interconnects of the module while degrading the efficiency.

AiM： To investigate whether activin regulates the cell proliferation of human gastric cancer cell line SNU-16 through the mRNA changes in activin receptors, Smads and p21^CiP1/WAF1. METHODS： The human gastric cancer cell lines were cultured, RNAs were purified, and RT-PCRs were carried out with specifically designed primer for each gene. Among them, the two cell lines SNU-5 and SNU-16 were cultured with activin A for 24, 48 and 72 h. The cell proliferation was measured by MTT assay. For SNU-16, changes in ActRiA, ActRiB, ActRiiA, ActRiiB, Smad2, Smad4, Smad7, and p21^CiP1/WAF1 mRNAs were detected with RT-PCR after the cells were cultured with activin A for 24, 48 and 72 h. RESULTS： The proliferation of SNU-16 cells was down regulated by activin A whereas other cells showed no change. basal level of inhibin/activin subunits, activin receptors, Smads, and p21^CiP1/WAF1 except for activin βB mRNAs was observed to have differential expression patterns in the human gastric cancer cell lines, AGS, KATO iii, SNU-1, SNU-5, SNU-16, SNU-484, SNU-601, SNU-638, SNU-668, and SNU-719. interestingly, significantly higher expressions of ActR iiA and iiB mRNAs were observed in SNU-16 cells when compared to other cells. After activin treatment, ActR iA, iB, and iiA mRNA levels were decreased whereas ActR iiB mRNA level increased in SNU-16 cells. Smad4 mRNA increased for up to 48 h whereas Smad7 mRNA increased sharply at 24 h and returned to the initial level at 48 h in SNU-16 cells. in addition, expression of the p21^CiP1/WAF1 the mitotic inhibitor, peaked at 72 h after activin treatment in SNU-16 cells. CONCLUSiON： Our results suggest that inhibition of cell growth by activin is regulated by the negative feedback effect of Smad7 on the activin signaling pathway, and is mediated through p21^CiP1/WAF1 activation in SNU-16 cells.

We fit various color–magnitude diagrams(CMDs) of the high-latitude Galactic globular clusters NGC 5024(M53),NGC 5053,NGC 5272(M3),NGC 5466,and NGC 7099(M30) by isochrones from the Dartmouth Stellar Evolution Database and bag of Stellar Tracks and isochrones for α–enrichment [α/Fe] = +*** the CMDs,we use data sets from Hubble Space Telescope,Gaia,and other sources utilizing,at least,25 photometric filters for each *** obtain the following characteristics with their statistical uncertainties for NGC 5024,NGC 5053,NGC 5272,NGC 5466,and NGC 7099,respectively:metallicities [Fe/H] =-1.93 ± 0.02,-2.08 ± 0.03,-1.60 ± 0.02,-1.95 ± 0.02,and-2.07 ± 0.04 dex with their systematic uncertainty 0.1 dex;ages 13.00 ± 0.11,12.70 ± 0.11,11.63 ± 0.07,12.15 ± 0.11,and 12.80 ± 0.17 Gyr with their systematic uncertainty 0.8 Gyr;distances(systematic uncertainty added) 18.22 ± 0.06 ± 0.60,16.99 ± 0.06 ± 0.56,10.08 ± 0.04 ± 0.33,15.59 ±0.03 ± 0.51,and 8.29 ± 0.03 ± 0.27 kpc;reddenings E(B-V) = 0.023 ± 0.004,0.017 ± 0.004,0.023 ± 0.004,0.023 ± 0.003,and 0.045 ± 0.002 mag with their systematic uncertainty 0.01 mag;extinctions AV= 0.08 ± 0.01,0.06 ± 0.01,0.08 ± 0.01,0.08 ± 0.01,and 0.16 ± 0.01 mag with their systematic uncertainty 0.03 mag,which suggest the total Galactic extinction AV= 0.08 across the whole Galactic dust to extragalactic objects at the North Galactic *** horizontal branch morphology difference of these clusters is explained by their different metallicity,age,mass-loss efficiency,and loss of low-mass members in the evolution of the core-collapse cluster NGC 7099 and loose clusters NGC 5053 and NGC 5466.

For the conventional single-ended eFuse cell, sensing failures can occur due to a variation of a post-program eFuse resistance during the data retention time and a relatively high program resistance of several kilo ohms. A differential paired eFuse cell is designed which is about half the size smaller in sensing resistance of a programmed eFuse link than the conventional single-ended eFuse cell. Also, a sensing circuit of sense amplifier is proposed, based on D flip-flop structure to implement a simple sensing circuit. Furthermore, a sensing margin test circuit is proposed with variable pull-up loads out of consideration for resistance variation of a programmed eFuse. When an 8 bit eFuse OTP iP is designed with 0.18 ~tm standard CMOS logic of TSMC, the layout dimensions are 229.04 μm ×100.15μm. All the chips function successfully when 20 test chips are tested with a program voltage of 4.2 V.

baCKGROUND Capecitabine is used in combination with lapatinib as palliative treatment for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-positive metastatic breast *** most frequently reported adverse events attributed to capecitabine include diarrhea,hyperbilirubinemia,and hand-foot syndrome(HFS).A number of cutaneous adverse events have been attributed to capecitabine,including Stevens-Johnson syndrome(SJS)as a rare and potentially life-threatening mucocutaneous *** report the first case involving concurrent SJS and HFS after capecitabine and lapatinib *** SUMMARY A 70-year-old woman with a history of breast cancer treatment visited our hospital for evaluation of painful skin *** weeks earlier,she had been prescribed capecitabine plus lapatinib as treatment for metastatic breast *** subsequently developed worsening erythema and bullae on her palms and soles,as well as reddish macules on her back and chest *** evaluation of the chest wall lesions revealed extensive eosinophilic epidermal necrosis and separation of the epidermis from the *** capecitabine plus lapatinib treatment was discontinued immediately and treatment was started using systemic *** treatment resolved most lesions,although the lesions on her palms and soles required Vaseline gauze dressings,which resulted in ***,we determined that the patient had concurrent SJS and *** the dermatological problems resolved,the patient ultimately died because of multiple organ *** Oral capecitabine treatment carries a risk of both HFS and also life-threatening adverse cutaneous drug reactions,such as SJS.

Birch(Betula tortuosa)is one of the treeline forming species within the Siberian *** analysed the area dynamics of birch stands and the upslope climb of birch treeline based on the Landsat time series scenes and on-ground *** found that since the warming onset(1970th)birch area increased by 10%,birch stands and treeline boundary were moving upslope with a rate of 1.4 m/yr and 4.0 m/*** upslope shift correlated with air temperatures at the beginning(May-June)and the end(August-October)of the growth ***,no correlation was found between birch upslope migration and *** negatively influenced both birch area growth and birch upslope climb during spring,fall,and *** the windy habitats,birch,together with larch and Siberian pine,formed clusters(hedges)which mitigated the influence of adverse *** clusters are the adaptive pattern for trees’upslope climb within windward *** other adaptation to the harsh alpine ecotone habitat is non-leaf(bark)photosynthesis which supports tree ***,Betula tortuosa upslope climb depends on the wind impact and warming in spring and fall that extended growth *** ongoing warming and observed wind speed decrease on the background of sufficient precipitation,it is expected to further birch advance into alpine tundra in the Siberian Mountains.

目的探讨青少年广泛性焦虑障碍(GAD)人群血清神经元特异性烯醇化酶(NSE)、白细胞介素-1β(il-1β)、脑源性神经营养因子(BDNF)的表达水平,为青少年GAD的早期诊断和病情评估提供参考依据。方法选取2020年3月—2023年2月在呼和浩特市3所三甲医院就诊,年龄13~18岁的首发青少年GAD患者97例,根据入院时广泛性焦虑障碍问卷(GAD-7)评分将其分为轻中度GAD组(58例)和重度GAD组(39例),同时选取同期来自该3所医院参加常规体检的青少年健康人群为对照组(90名)。采用方差分析比较3组对象血清NSE、il-1β及BDNF水平,进一步两两比较用LSD-t检验;采用Pearson相关性分析血清NSE、il-1β及BDNF之间的关系。结果3组受试者血清NSE、il-1β及BDNF水平的差异均有统计学意义(F值分别为10.73,12.80,20.67,P值均il-1β为(18.42±5.43)pg/mL,均为最低;重度GAD组为(14.21±3.25)μg/L、(26.04±5.39)pg/mL,均为最高。对照组血清BDNF水平为(27.16±4.42)ng/mL,为最高;重度GAD组为(10.46±3.27)ng/mL,为最低。双变量Pearson直线相关分析显示,GAD人群血清NSE、il-1β水平与血清BDNF水平均呈负相关(r值分别为-0.49,-0.57),血清NSE与il-1β水平呈正相关(r=0.40)(P值均il-1β水平异常升高、BDNF水平异常降低的表现。血清NSE、il-1β及BDNF水平可作为青少年GAD的检测标志物,有助于其早期诊断和病情评估。

The direct current-direct current （DC-DC） converter is designed for 1 T static random access memory （SRAM） used in display driver integrated circuits （iCs）, which consists of positive word-line voltage （VpwL）, negative word-line voltage （VinyL） and half-VDD voltage （VHDo） generator. To generate a process voltage temperature （PVT）-insensitive VpWL and VNWL, a set of circuits were proposed to generate reference voltages using bandgap reference current generators for respective voltage level detectors. Also, a VOWL regulator and a VNWL charge pump were proposed for a small-area and low-power design. The proposed VpwL regulator can provide a large driving current with a small area since it regulates an input voltage （VCi） from 2.5 to 3.3 V. The VmvL charge pump can be implemented as a high-efficiency circuit with a small area and low power since it can transfer pumped charges to VNWL node entirely. The DC-DC converter for 1 T SRAM were designed with 0.11 μm mixed signal process and operated well with satisfactory measurement results.

"Warming hiatus" occurred in the AltaySayan Mountain Region, Siberia in c. 1997–2014. We analyzed evergreen conifer(EGC) stands area(satellite data) and trees(Siberian pine, Pinus sibirica Du Tour, Siberian fir, Abies sibirica Ledeb.) growth increment(dendrochronology data) response to climate variables before and during the hiatus. During the hiatus, EGC area increased in the highlands(>1000 m)(+30%), whereas at low and middle elevations(increase was observed on the rain-ward northwest slopes mainly. in highlands, EGC area increase mainly correlated with summer air temperature, whereas at low and middle elevations EGC area decrease correlated with drought index SPEi and vapor pressure deficit(VPD). EGC mortality(fir and Siberian pine) in lowland was caused by the synergy of water stress(inciting factor) and barkbeetle attacks(contributing factor). Tree growth increment(Gi) dynamics differs with respect to elevation. At high elevation(1700 m) Gi permanently increased since warming onset, whereas at the middle(900 m) and low elevations(450 m) Gi increased until c. 1983 yr. with followed depression. That Gi "breakpoint" occurred about a decade before hiatus onset. in spite of growth depression, during hiatus Gi was higher than that in pre-warming period. At high elevation, Gi positively responded to elevated June temperatures and negatively to moisture increase(precipitation, root zone moisture content, VPD, and SPEi). At low elevation Gi negatively responded to June temperatures and positively to moisture increase. For both, low and high elevation, these patterns persisted throughout the study period(1967–2014). On the contrary, at middle elevations Gi dependence on climate variables switch after breakpoint year(1983). Before breakpoint, June air temperature(positive correlation) and moisture(negative correlations) controlled Gi. Further temperature increase leads Gi depression and switched correlation signs
