AiM:To determine the dry eye(DE)rate and its rela.ionship with disease stage in pa.ients with primary ***:A cross-sectional study included 432 pa.ients with primary hypertension(with an equal number of pa.ients in each group:144 in stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ,and Ⅲ hypertension)and 144 healthy subjects as a control *** Ocular Surface Disease index(OSDi)and Schirmer Ⅰ test without anesthetics were conducted on all 576 *** with OSDi scoresirmer Ⅰ values equal to or under 10 mm were diagnosed with ***:The ra.io of DE in hypertension pa.ients was higher than in the control group(41.7%versus 18.8%;Pion of pa.ients with DE increased gradually according to the hypertension stage:27.1% in stage Ⅰ,40.3% in stage Ⅱ,and 57.6% in stage Ⅲ,Pa.ion of hypertension,plasma urea,crea.inine,and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(CRP-hs)levels in hypertension pa.ients with DE were higher than those without DE,Pa.ion of hypertension,diabetes mellitus,elevated plasma crea.inine,and CRP-hs levels were independent factors associated with DE in primary hypertension pa.ients,Pis a common disorder associated with advanced age,a long dura.ion of hypertension,diabetes mellitus,elevated plasma CRP-hs,and crea.inine levels in pa.ients with primary hypertension.

Garden pea productivity and qua.ities are hampered in zinc(Zn),boron(B),and molybdenum(Mo)deficient ***,the combina.ion of micronutrients(i.e.,Zn,B,and Mo)and rhizobium is necessary to increase the productivity and qua.ity of garden peas,since this management for garden peas is neglected in ***,the present study was made to assess the effectiveness of rhizobium inoculant singly or in combina.ion with the micronutrients(i.e.,Zn,B,and Mo)on growth,yield,nutrient uptake,and qua.ity of garden *** were:T_(1)=Control,T_(2)=Rhizobium inocula.ion at 50 g/kg seed,T_(3)=T_(2)+Zn_(3)Mo1,T_(4)=T_(2)+B_(2)Mo1,T_(5)=T_(2)+Zn_(3)B_(2),T_(6)=T_(2)+Zn_(3)B_(2)Mo1 and T_(7)=Zn_(3)B_(2)*** treatments were arranged in a randomized complete block design and repeated all treatments in three *** applica.ion of 3 kg Zn,2 kg B,and 1 kg Mo ha^(−1)with inocula.ion of Rhizobium at 50 g kg^(−1)seed(T_(6))fa.ilitated to increase of 44.8%in the green pod and 29.7%seed yield over *** same treatment contributed to attaining the ma.imum nodula.ion(25.3 plant^(−1)),Vita.in C(43.5 mg 100 g^(−1)),protein content(22.2%),and nutrient uptake as well as accumula.ion in garden *** all treatment combina.ions,treatment T_(6)was found superior to others based on microbial activities,soil fertility,and *** results of the study found that the applica.ion of 3 kg Zn,2 kg B,and 1 kg Mo ha^(−1)in combina.ion with Rhizobium inocula.ion(50 g kg^(−1)seed)can improve the yield and qua.ity of garden *** results of the study have the potential for the areas,where there is no use of Rhizobium inoculant or Zn,B,and Mo fertilizer for cultiva.ion of garden pea.

Combina.ions of metal and lantha.ide oxides have been done through casted films for potential medical applica.ions. in this regard, sama.ium(Ⅲ) oxide/chromium(Ⅲ) oxide/graphene oxide(GO)/polycaprolactone(PCL) based films nano-composites(NCs) were fabricated, pointing their utiliza.ion as a biological scaffold for wound dressing purposes. Also, sama.ium(Ⅲ) oxide and chromium(Ⅲ) oxide have been merged as promising optical constituents due to their unique optical beha.ior. The structural and compositional exa.ina.ion of the studied NCs was executed by X-ray diffraction(XRD), Raman, and field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM). The Sm_(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL NC exhibits a surface with a lower roughness degree owing to the presence of GO. Cr_(2)O_(3)shows size reduction upon GO insertion to reach 1.2 μm as the average grain size, whilst Sm_(2)O_(3)records an average grain size of less than 1 μm. As well, the polymeric nano-compositions exhibit va.ia.ion in contact angle values that hit 29.76°± 3.52°for Sm_(2)O_(3)/PCL, and 48.62°± 1.37°for Sm_(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL as the second lowest contact angle. The optical beha.ior contributes to absorption edge reloca.ion along the x-a.is from 1.7 eV for pure PCL, to 2.65 eV for Sm_(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL. Regarding biological responses, the cell exposed to 2.5 μg/m L of Sm_(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL shows cell via.ility of 119.31%, while 5 μg/m L hits 99.6%. Additionally, the resulting cell attachment micrographs show layers of fibroblast tissue, besides the prolifera.ion and growth of cultivated cells. Thus, the Sm_(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL scaffold provides 3D prolifera.ion of fibroblast cells endorsing the wound hea.ing process.

We carried out this research at Abu-Gaddaf Natural Forest Reserve (ANFR) which is located east of Blue Nile River, in Blue Nile State, Sudan. it aims at exploring tree composition assessing their diversity indices, and ecological importance values. For survey of types and estima.ion of density of tree species in the forest, we randomly distributed 97 circular sample plots (0.1 hectare (ha)). in each sample plot we identified all trees to the species level, recorded their frequencies and computed species diversity and importance value indices (iVi). A total of 13 tree species, which belong to 12 genera and nine fa.ilies, were identified in the tree layer of the forest. Mean tree density in ANFR was 116 trees/ha, composed mainly of Boswellia papyrifera (Del.) Hochst. (48), followed by Combretum hartmannianu (19) and Lannea fruticosa (18). Fabaceae was the most common fa.ily followed by Combretaceae and Malvaceae. B. papyrifera Delile Hochst was the most abundant while Aca.ia seyal was the least abundant species. Species richness (R = 1.71), evenness (E = 0.69), dominance (0.24) indices and Simpson’s index of Diversity (D' = 0.76) suggest a moderate diversity, moderate numbers of individuals in each species and a moderate community sta.ility. The research provides empirical results on diversity and ecological importance value of species, signifies the urging need to safeguard threatened species and to prioritize them for conserva.ion, as well as the need to promote management of abundant species to provide multiple forest ecosystem services.

We demonstrated a new type of MAX phase material， Chromium Tita.ium Aluminum Carbide (Cr2TiAlC2) polymer film to generate a passively Q-switched erbium-doped fiber laser. The film thickness was measured around 45 μm which was fabricated using the embedding method with PVA polymer as hoster. The sa film demonstrates a dual-wavelength passively Q-switched erbium-doped fiber laser （EDFL） which operates at 1531 nm and 1560.19 nm， respectively. The Q-switching pulse dura.ion could be va.ied from 2.46 μs to 770 ns while the repetition rate va.ied from 92.76 kHz to 106.6 kHz with an increa.ing input pumping range of 154 mW to 300 mW. The ma.imum output power and pulse energy of 15.05 mW and 141.18 nJ were obtained at a ma.imum input power of 300 mW， respectively. To the best of our knowledge， this is the first time that on dual-wavelength Q-switched EDF laser by Cr2TiAlC2as sa.

Our study aimed to compare the essential oil(EO)concentra.ion and composition of several a.iaceae species growing in the Northern region of *** yields of EOs from materials ranged from 0.03%(root EO of Angelica acutiloba and aerial parts EO of Heracleum bivittatum)-0.27%(leaf EO of Xyloselinum vietnamense).Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)allowed the identiﬁca.ion of 74 components in the EOs of six a.iaceae species,ma.ing up 94.4%–100.0%of the *** EO from Angelica acutiloba,(Z)-ligustilide accounted for an extremely large proportion(94.9%).EO of Angelica pubescens was dominated by six character-istic components includingα-pinene(21.5%),β-phellandrene(18.1%),p-cymene(12.2%),3-methylnonane(8.7%),o-cymene(8.1%),and D-sylvestrene(6.2%).The EO from Cryptotaenia japonica was characterized by high amounts ofα-selinene(48.7%),β-selinene(23.7%),and trans-β-farnesene(5.4%).The EOs from leaves and stems of Xyloselinum vietnamense were characterized by high concentra.ions of sa.inene(69.8%and 33.8%),4-terpineol(8.7%and 7.4%)andβ-pinene(4.0%and 6.5%)while EOs from aerial parts and root of Xylo-selinum leonidii comprise four characteristic monoterpenes includingα-pinene(28.2%and 52.8%),β-pinene(7.9%and 10.3%),β-phellandrene(7.6%and 15.3%),and sa.inene(3.0%and 4.1%).Additionally,cryptone is also one of the major components in the EO of Xyloselinum leonidii(13.2%in the aerial parts oil and 2.8%in the root oil).in the EOs isolated from the aerial parts and root of Heracleum bivittatum,α-pinene(22.5%and 70.2%)andβ-pinene(43.2%and 20.0%)were the predominant *** appeared in the EO from aerial parts of Heracleum bivittatum with a rela.ively high concentra.ion(13.5%)while bornyl acetate(5.1%)was also one of the main components in the EO from its aerial parts but was not detected in other a.iaceae species in the present *** databases help identify and control the qua.ity of plant material studied from the fa.ily a.iaceae growing in Vietnam.

This paper presents an enhanced control strategy for Wind Energy Conversion System(WECS)using Doubly-Fed induction Generator(DFiG).A robust Super-Twisting(STW)sliding mode control for va.iable speed wind turbine is developed to produce the optimal aerodyna.ic torque and improve the dyna.ic performance of the *** electromagnetic torque of the DFiG is directly tracked using the proposed control to achieve ma.imum power *** performance and the effectiveness of the STW control strategy are compared to conventional Sliding Mode(SM)and Proportional-integral(Pi)*** proposed STW algorithm shows interesting features in terms of chattering reduction,finite convergence time and robustness against parameters va.ia.ions and system disturbances.
