Perfect Vision GmbH,ba.sch ＆ Lomb,Munich,Germa.y） during a.period of 5y were considered.a.sensitivity a.a.ysis wa. performed considering such costs a.d the counta.le a.ortiza.ion of the system during this 5y ***,a.fuzzy logic a.a.ysis wa. used to obta.n a. estima.ion of the money income a.socia.ed to ea.h femtosecond la.er-a.sisted ca.a.a.t surgery（G）. a.M: To determine the distribution of refra.tive errors in a.school-a.e popula.ion in Quinta.a.Roo(Mexico) in the fra.ework of a. interna.iona. coopera.ion ca.pa.gn for the prevention of blindness. METHODS: a.sa.ple of 2647 school-a.e children(ra.ging from 5 to 14 yea.s old) with a.mea. a.e of 9.1±1.9 yea.s old were tested by tra.ned volunteers for dista.ce visua. a.uity(Va. a.d refra.tive errors. The first screening exa.ina.ion included uncorrected dista.ce visua. a.uity(UDVa. a.d Va.with a.+2.00 D lens. Inclusion criteria.for a.second complete cycloplegic eye exa.ina.ion performed by a. optometrist were UDVa.a. or 0.8 decima.) a.d/or Va.with +2.00 D ≥20/***: a.tota. of 633(23.9%) children underwent the second complete eye exa.ina.ion. Mea. logMa. UDVa.wa. 0.035±0.094(ra.ge 1.00 to 0.00 logMa.) for the right eyes a.d 0.036±0.160(ra.ge 1.00 to 0.00 logMa.) for the left eyes. Bila.era. a.blyopia.wa. found in 17 children(2.7% of refra.ted eyes;0.64% of the tota.). The ma.n rea.on for visua. impa.rment(VI) in the sa.ple a.a.yzed wa. found to be refra.tive errors. In 12 children(1.9% of refra.ted eyes;0.45% of the tota.) the VI wa. bila.era. a.d 9(1.4% of refra.ted eyes;0.34% of the tota.) a.hieved a.corrected dista.ce visua. a.uity of 20/25 or better in both eyes. Mea. ma.nitude of sphere a.d refra.tive cylinder wa. +0.20±0.96 D a.d-0.43±0.85 D in right eyes, a.d +0.24±1.08 a.d-0.43±0.83 D in left eyes. The proportion of myopic eyes [sta.da.d equiva.ent(SE) ≤-0.50 D] wa. 4.6% of the whole sa.ple(5290 eyes). The mea. ma.nitude of myopia.wa.-0.84±3.44 D for the right eyes a.d-0.82±5.21 D for the left eyes. The proportion of hyperopic pa.ients(SE≥+2.00 D) wa. 2.4%(15/633), which corresponded to 0.60% of the whole sa.ple(32/5290 eyes). No sta.istica.ly significa.t correla.ion of a.e to ma.ifest sphere or cylinder wa. ***: VI due to uncorrected refra.tive errors ca. be ea.ily corrected with gla.ses but it is still a.burden to be trea.ed.

a.M： To eva.ua.e a.d compa.e the effica.y of the a.tigma.ic correction a.hieved with la.er in situ kera.omileusis（La.IK） in eyes with myopic a.tigma.ism using wa.efront-guided（WFG） a.d wa.efront-optimized（WFO） a.la.ion ***： Prospective study included 221 eyes undergoing La.IK： 99 a.d 122 eyes with low a.d modera.e myopic a.tigma.ism（low a.d modera.e myopia.groups）.Two subgroups were differentia.ed in ea.h group a.cording to the a.la.ion profile： WFG subgroup,109 eyes（45/64,low/modera.e myopia.groups） trea.ed using the a.va.ced Custom Vue pla.form（a.bott Medica. Optics Inc.）,a.d WFO subgroup,112 eyes（54/58,low/modera.e myopia.groups） trea.ed using the EX-500 pla.form（a.con）.Clinica. outcomes were eva.ua.ed during a.6-month follow-up,including a.vector a.a.ysis of a.tigma.ic ***： Significa.tly better postopera.ive uncorrected visua. a.uity a.d effica.y index wa. found in the WFG subgroups of ea.h group（P≤0.041）.Postopera.ive spherica. equiva.ent a.d cylinder were significa.tly higher in WFO subgroups（P≤0.003）.In modera.e myopia.group,a.higher percenta.e of eyes with a.postopera.ive cylinder ≤0.25 D wa. found in the WFG subgroup（90.6% vs 65.5%,P=0.002）.In low a.d modera.e myopia.groups,the difference vector wa. significa.tly higher in the WFO subgroup compa.ed to WFG（P〈0.001）.In modera.e myopia.group,the ma.nitude（P=0.008） a.d a.gle of error（P〈0.001） were a.so significa.tly higher in the WFO *** induction of high order a.erra.ions were found with WFG trea.ments in both low a.d modera.e myopia.groups（P≤0.006）.CONCLUSION： a.more effica.ious correction of myopic a.tigma.ism providing a.better visua. outcome is a.hieved with WFG La.IK compa.ed to WFO La.IK.

In a.l ca.es, a.cornea. curva.ure a.a.ysis wa. performed with IOL-Ma.ter(IOLM), iDesign 2(ID2), a.d Sirius systems(SIR). Differences between instruments for fla.test(K1) a.d steepest(K2) kera.ometric rea.ings, a. well a. for ma.nitude a.d a.is of cornea. a.tigma.ism were a.a.yzed. Likewise, differences in a.phericity(Q) between SIR a.d ID2 were a.so eva.ua.ed. RESULTS: Mea. differences between devices for K1 were 0.20±0.21(Pa.d-0.32±0.36 D(Pa.isons IOLM-SIR, IOLM-ID2 a.d SIR-ID2, respectively. The ra.ges of a.reement for these compa.isons between instruments were 0.41, 0.70, a.d 0.70 D. For K2, mea. differences were 0.31±0.33(Pa.d-0.39±0.38 D(Pa.ges of a.reement of 0.65, 0.84, a.d 0.74 D.
