We give the generalized definitions of variable separable solutions to nonlinear evolution equations, and characterize the relation between the functional separable solution and the derivative-dependent functional separable solution. The new definitions can unify various kinds of variable separable solutions appearing in references. As application, we classify the generalized nonlinear diffusion equations that admit special functional separable solutions and obtain some exact solutions to the resulting equations.

Silicone rubber(SR) composites are most widely used as thermal interface materials(TIMs) for electronics heat dissipation. Thermal impedance as the main bottleneck limiting the performance of TIMs is usually neglected. Herein, the thermal impedance of SR composites loaded with different levels of hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN) as TIMs was elaborated for the first time by the ASTM D 5470 standard test and finite element analysis. It was found that elastic modulus and surface roughness of SR composites increased with the increase of h-BN content, indicating that the conformity was reduced. When the assembly pressure was 0.69 MPa, there existed an optimal h-BN content at which the contact resistance was minimum(0.39 K·cm^(2)·W^(-1)). Although the decreased bond line thickness(BLT) by increasing the assembly pressure was beneficial to reduce the thermal impedance, the proper assembly pressure should be selected to prevent the warpage of the contact surfaces and the increase in contact resistance, according to the compression properties of the SR composites. This study provides valuable insights into fabrication of high-performance TIMs for modern electronic device applications.

The Tbx family is first known through the study of their functions in the body and limbs,and its members Tbx4 and Tbx5 genes are important factors in determining the characteristics of the *** argenteus is one of the important economical marine fishes widely distributed in offshore ***,it is necessary to study the role of Tbx family genes in the deletion of pelvic fin in *** this study,we cloned Tbx4 and Tbx5 cDNA sequence of ***(GenBank:MH709128 and MH712458).The Western blot and real time PCR were used to detect the expressions of Tbx4 and Tbx5 in different developmental stages and tissues of *** addition,whole-mount in-situ hybridization was used to study the localization of Tbx4 and Tbx5 genes in different developmental stages of *** show that the translation of Tbx4 mRNA was inhibited during the critical period of pelvic fin *** different tissues,Tbx4 protein levels were the lowest in the abdominal epithelium,and even lower than that in the pectoral fin,suggesting that the protein expression was also inhibited in the abdominal epithelium of adult ***,the results indicated that upstream genes regulation led to the key stage-specific and low expression of Tbx4 during pelvic fin development and in the abdominal epithelium.

Vitellogenesis is the main event of oocyte growth in oviparous animals,which is mainly manifested by the accumulation of vitellogenin(VTG).The accumulation of vitellogenin depends mainly on the absorption of exogenous vitellogenin,which enters oocyte through endocytosis mediated by its receptor(VGR).We investigated the expression and localization of VTG and VGR during gonad development of Pampus *** qPCR results show that vtgs were not expressed in male fish,but in the ovary and liver of female fish;the expression levels went up at first and then *** expression levels of vgr in the testis were low and only 1%-3%of that in *** results show that during the ovarian development of ***,VTG in liver,serum,and ovary all showed a trend from increasing to ***,VTG in liver peaked in StageⅣ,and in serum and ovary peaked in Stage V,reflecting changes in the characteristics of VTG in the liver(synthesis),blood(transport),and ovaries(accumulation).During gonad development,VGR in the ovaries first increased and then decreased,reaching a peak in Stage V,in contrast to vgr mRNA *** VGR content in the testis was extremely low and stable,consistent with vgr *** results show that the location and intensity of VTG and VGR positive signals were synchronized with the changes of their protein content,which revealed that VTG was mainly synthesized in the liver cytoplasm,secreted into the blood,and transported to ovary in StageⅢ.VGR is highly expressed in oocytes in StageⅡ.In StageⅢ,a large amount of VTG reaches the ovary,when VGR begins to translate and is subsequently transported to the plasma membrane of the ***,the positive signal of VGR was stronger near the plasma membrane of oocytes in StagesⅠandⅡ.By using qPCR,ELISA,and immunohistochemistry,the synthesis,transport,and accumulation of vitellogenin were elucidated and the mechanism of its endocytosis on egg membrane mediated by VTG during the de

Effect of Menopausal Hormone Replacement Therapy on Cytokine Patterns in a Perimenopausal Mouse Model Established by the Ovarian Castration Method

Objective: To investigate the effect of perimenopausal hormone replacement therapy(HRT) on cytokine patterns in a perimenopausal mouse model established by ovarian castration. Methods: The mice were divided into natural menopause group,ovariectomy group and HRT group, with 15 mice in each group, and the estrous cycle, estrous frequency and menopausal time of the mice were determined by vaginal cytology,and the estrous cycle, estrous frequency and menopausal time were compared among the three groups. The serum levels of estradiol(E2) and progesterone(P4) in each group were detected by double-antibody sandwich ELISA, and the levels of interferon gamma(IFN-γ), interleukin-2(IL-2), IL-4 and IL-10 in the spleen γ tissues of mice were detected by ELISA. Results: The time of menopause(53.07±3.99) d in the HRT group was between that of the natural menopause group(80.80±3.26) d and that of the ovariectomy group(16.27±4.35) d, with a statistically significant difference in the two-by-two comparison of the three groups(P<0.05). The levels of serum E2(694.4±128.3) ng/L and P4(14.2 ±6.0) ng/L in the HRT therapy group are between those of the ovariectomy group and the natural menopause group, with statistically significant differences between the groups(P<0.05). The levels of IL-2(30.9±5.3) pg/ml, IL-4(9.4±1.6) pg/ml, IL-10(19.7±3.1) pg/ml, IFN-γ(22.0±3.7) pg/ml in the HRT group were all between those of natural menopause group and ovariectomy group. The Th1/Th2 ratio in the ovariectomy group was 7.55±1.57, higher than that in the natural menopause group(1.53±0.48) and HRT group(2.38 ±0.44), with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). Conclusion:Menopausal HRT can partially correct the imbalance of Th1/Th2 cytokines, which is able to provide an experimental basis for the regulation of menopause-related immune imbalance by HRT.

Bulked Segregant Analysis to Detect QTL Related to Heat Tolerance in Rice(Oryza sativa L.) Using SSR Markers

The study was undertaken to assess the genetic effect of quantitative trait loci （QTLs） conferring heat tolerance at flowering stage in rice. A population consisting of 279 F2 individuals from the cross between 996, a heat tolerant cultivar and 4628, a heat-sensitive cultivar, was analyzed for their segregation pattern of the difference of seed set rate under optimal temperature condition and high temperature condition. The difference of seed set rate under optimal temperature condition and high temperature condition showed normal distribution, indicating the polygenic control over the trait. To identify main effect of QTL for heat tolerance, the parents were surveyed with 200 primer pairs of simple sequence repeats （SSR）. The parental survey revealed 30% polymorphism between parents. In order to detect the main QTL association with heat tolerance, a strategy of combining the DNA pooling from selected segregants and genotyping was adopted. The association of putative markers identified based on DNA pooling from selected segregants was established by single marker analysis （SMA）. The results of SMA revealed that SSR markers, RM3735 on chromosome 4 and RM3586 on chromosome 3 showed significant association with heat tolerance respectively, accounted for 17 and 3% of the total variation respectively. The heat tolerance during flowering stage in rice was controlled by multiple gene. The SSR markers, RM3735 on chromosome 4 and RM3586 on chromosome 3 showed significant association with heat tolerance respectively, accounted for 17 and 3% of the total variation respectively. The two genetic loci, especially for RM3735 on chromosome 4, can be used in marker-assistant-selected method in heat tolerance breeding in rice.

AIM:To evaluate the clinical value of serum CA19-9 levels in predicting the respectability of pancreatic carcinoma according to receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve analysis. METHODS:Serum CA19-9 levels were measured in 104 patients with pancreatic cancer which were possible to be resected according to the imaging. ROC curve was plotted for the CA19-9 levels. The point closest to the upper left-hand corner of the graph were chosen as the cut-off point. The sensitivity,specificity,positive and negative predictive values of CA19-9 at this cut-off point were calculated. RESULTS:Resectable pancreatic cancer was detected in 58(55.77%) patients and unresectable pancreatic cancer was detected in 46(44.23%) patients. The area under the ROC curve was 0.918 and 95% CI was 0.843-0.992. The CA19-9 level was 353.15 U/mL,and the sensitivity and specificity of CA19-9 at this cut-off point were 93.1% and 78.3%,respectively. The positive and negative predictive value was 84.38% and 90%,respectively. CONCLUSION:Preoperative serum CA19-9 level is a useful marker for further evaluating the resectability of pancreatic cancer. Obviously increased serum levels of CA19-9(> 353.15 U/mL) can be regarded as an ancillary parameter for unresectable pancreatic cancer.
