BACKGROUND The incidence of colorectal cancer(CRC)in China is steadily rising,with a high proportion of advanced-stage *** highlights the significance of early detection and prevention measures to enhance survival *** immunochemical testing(FIT)is a globally recommended CRC screening method;however,limited research has been conducted on its application in *** To assess the efficacy and adherence of FIT screening among average-risk individuals in Hainan,while also examining the risk factors associated with positive FIT *** This population-based cross-sectional study implemented FIT screening for CRC in 2000 asymptomatic participants aged 40-75 years from five cities and 21 community health centers in Hainan *** study was conducted from August 2022 to April 2023,employing a stratified sampling method to select *** with positive FIT results subsequently underwent *** predictive values for confirmed CRC and advanced adenoma were calculated,and the relationship between relevant variables and positive FIT results was analyzed usingχ2 tests and multivariate logistic *** A total of 1788 participants completed the FIT screening,with a median age of 57 years(interquartile range:40-75).Among them,503(28.1%)were males,and 1285(71.9%)were females,resulting in an 89.4%compliance rate for FIT *** overall positivity rate of FIT was 4.4%[79 out of 1788;95%confidence interval(CI):3%-5%].The specific positivity rates for Haikou,Sanya,Orient City,Qionghai City,and Wuzhishan City were 9.6%(45 of 468;95%CI:8%-11%),1.3%(6 of 445;95%CI:0.1%-3.1%),2.7%(8 of 293;95%CI:1.2%-4.3%),3.3%(9 of 276;95%CI:1.0%-6.3%),and 4.2%(11 of 406;95%CI:1.2%-7.3%),*** associations were found between age,dietary habits,and positive FIT *** of the 79 participants with positive FIT results,55 underwent colonoscopy,demonstrating an 82.2%compliance *** them,10 had a clean

A novel thermally-stable single-phase phosphor Ca2InTaO6:Dy3+ for NUV-excited white LEDs

The work focuses on the utilization of the conventional solid-state sintering procedure to synthesize white phosphors Ca2InTaO6:xDy3+（0.02≤x≤0.12）.Utilizing X-ray diffraction,the phase structure of samples was examined,and the crystal structure was refined using the Rietveld method.A scanning electron microscope was used to analyze the microstructure of ***-principles calculations confirm that the indirect bandgap of Ca2InTaO6is 3.786 eV,The luminous properties and energy transfer mechanism of Ca2InTaO6:xDy3+were studied using photoluminescence ***4F9/2→6H13/2transition of Dy3+ions is responsible for the greatest emission peak,which was measured at 575 *** to research,the lifespan falls as the concentration of Dy3+doping amount rises because of frequent interaction and ene rgy transfer between Dy3+*** correlated color temperature of the WLEDs packaged with Ca2InTaO6:0.08Dy3+is 4677 K and CIE 1931 chromaticity coordinates are（0.3578,0.3831）.Meantime,the phosphor also shows outstanding te mperature stability property,which maintains 83.8% of its initial emission intensity at 450 K（activation energy of 0.1467 eV）.The W-LEDs retain their performance for 100 min when powered at 3.4 V voltage and 600 mA current,demonstrating the packed W-LEDs' sustaine d operation at high temperatures.

Microstructure and texture evolution of Cu–Cr–Co–Ti alloys during the two-stage cryorolling

This study entailed an investigation of the mechanical properties, microstructural and texture orientation evolutions of CuDCrDCoDTi alloys prepared via twostage cryorolling and intermediate aging treatment. To this end, X-ray diffraction and electron backscatter diffraction were employed. The results indicate that the two-stage cryorolling and intermediate aging treatments led to the development of profuse twin bundles and significantly enhanced the mechanical properties. The initial cryorolling led to coplanar slip and developed a strong Y({111} ) orientation, accelerating the formation of Goss({011} ) orientation and a Brass-type *** intermediate aging treatment relieved the restriction on dislocation slip and reoriented the grains toward the Copper({112} ) and Z({111} ) *** Z orientation, with a relatively high volume fraction,dominated the macrotexture. Secondary cryorolling intensified twinning and shear banding, transforming the Copper-type shear bands into Brass-type shear bands with rhomboidal prism morphology. The areas inside the Brasstype shear bands exhibited a Y orientation, and the areas outside the shear bands exhibited a stable Brass-type texture. The evident decrease in the weighted Schmid factors demonstrated that the two-stage cryorolling and intermediate aging treatment can modify the texture evolution and aid the design of high-performance Cu alloys.

Objective Brain metastases significantly impact the clinical course of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).This study aimed to examine the age-related incidence,demographics,and survival of patients with HCC and brain *** Data of HCC patients from 2010 to 2015 in the Surveillance,Epidemiology,and End Results(SEER)Registry were screened for the presence of brain *** were stratified by age and *** logistic and Cox regression analyses were used to identify factors associated with brain metastases and those with overall survival(OS)and liver cancer-specific survival(CSS),*** A total of 141 HCC patients presenting with brain metastases were identified,accounting for 0.35% of all HCC patients and 2.37% of patients with metastatic *** all HCC patients,the incidence rate was the highest among patients aged 30-49 years old(0.47%).Ethnicity was not associated with the presence of brain metastases at the time of HCC ***,African-American patients presented with a significantly lower disease-specific survival[median time:1 month;interquartile range(IQR):0-3.0 months].Initial lung or bone metastasis was independently associated with an increased risk of the presence of brain metastases[odds ratio(OR):12.62,95% confidence interval(CI):8.40-18.97]but was not associated with a worse OS or CSS among those with brain *** This study identified the age-related incidence and risk factors of brain metastases in HCC *** results may contribute to the consideration of brain screening among patients with initial metastatic HCC with lung or bone metastases,and influence the counseling of this patient population regarding their prognosis.

Due to the low cost,high working voltage and high storage capacity,Li-rich Mn-based layered compounds show promise as the cathode materials for lithiumion batteries(LIBs).However,the side reactions at the solid-liquid interface of the cathode will lead to rapid capacity decay and inferior rate ***,this article proposes a liquid-phase dispersion strategy to introduce a Na_(2)WO_(4)layer on the Li_(1.2)Ni_(0.13)-Co_(0.13)Mn_(0.54)O_(2) cathode,which can reduce the side effects between raw materials and electrolyte and promote the insertion/extraction rate of Li^(+),thus enhancing the material stability and rate *** a result,the capacity retention rate is 96.9%after 200 cycles under ***,the capacities are 177.5,149.5,111.1 and58.3 mAh·g^(-1)at 1C,2C,5C and 10C,implying a superior fast charging *** exceptional performance can be ascribed to both the increased conductivity and enhanced structural stability of the cathode ***'s more,based on the investigation of ion insertion/extraction behavior in electrode materials and the ion migration kinetics in the electrolyte,this study suggests that coating Li-rich Mn-based materials with Na_(2)WO_(4)can be a promising strategy to improve their performance in LIBs.

Ticks are a major parasite on the Qınghai-Tibet Plateau,western China,and represent an economic burden to agriculture and animal *** research on tick-borne pathogens that threaten humans and animals,the viromes of dominant tick species in this area remain *** this study,we collected Dermacentor nuttalli ticks near Qınghai Lake and identified 13 viruses belonging to at least six families through metagenomic *** viruses were of high abundance in pools,including Xınjiang tick-associated virus 1(XJTAV1),and three novel viruses:Qınghai Lake virus 1,Qınghai Lake virus 2(QHLV1,and QHLV2,unclassified),and Qınghai Lake virus 3(QHLV3,genus Uukuvirus of family Phenuiviridae in order Bunyavirales),which lacks the M *** minimum infection rates of the four viruses in the tick groups were 8.2%,49.5%,6.2%,and 24.7%,respectively,suggesting the prevalence of these viruses in *** ticks.A putative M segment of QHLV3 was identified from the next-generation sequencing data and further characterized for its signal peptide cleavage site,N-glycosylation,and transmembrane ***,we probed the L,M,and S segments of other viruses from sequencing data of other tick pools by using the putative M segment sequence of *** revealing the viromes of *** ticks,this study enhances our understanding of tick-borne viral communities in highland *** putative M segment identified in a novel uukuvirus suggests that previously identified uukuviruses without M segments should have had the same genome organization as typical *** findings will facilitate virus discovery and our understanding of the phylogeny of tick-borne uukuviruses.
