Shale gas is an important component of unconventional oil and gas *** the imbibition behavior is helpful to optimize flowback parameters and enhance gas *** imbibition studies have focused on shale matrix,and the pressure conditions discussed were mostly *** initial imbibition behavior begins from propped fractures to matrix,but there are few studies working on explaining the imbibition behavior in propped fractures or the phenomenon of many shale wells exhibit higher productivity after a“soaking”***,propped fracture samples were designed for imbibition and migration *** order to accurately study the mechanism and main influencing factors of fracturing fluid imbibition and migration in propped and unpropped shale fractures under high temperature and high pressure,a series of experiments based on nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)were carried *** showed that NMR T_(2) spectra of all samples exhibited a bimodal *** final imbibition volume of fracturing fluid was positively related to pressure and fracture *** imbibition effect of fracturing fluid was more evident in matrix pores under high *** the migration during soaking stage,the fracturing fluid gradually migrated from large pores to small pores and gradually displaced the shale gas from the matrix,thus allowing the water blocking in propped fractures to self-unlock to some *** permeability decreased in the imbibition stage,while it recovered in the migration stage to some extent.

Identification prognostic features related to sphingolipid metabolism and experimental validation of TRIM47 in hepatocellular carcinoma

Improving corrosion resistance of additively manufactured WE43 magnesium alloy by high temperature oxidation for biodegradable applications

Laser powder bed fusion(L-PBF)has been employed to additively manufacture WE43 magnesium(Mg)alloy biodegradable implants,but WE43 L-PBF samples exhibit excessively rapid *** this work,dense WE43 L-PBF samples were built with the relativity density reaching 99.9%.High temperature oxidation was performed on the L-PBF samples in circulating air via various heating temperatures and holding *** oxidation and diffusion at the elevated temperature generated a gradient structure composed of an oxide layer at the surface,a transition layer in the middle and the *** oxide layer consisted of rare earth(RE)oxides,and became dense and thick with increasing the holding *** matrix was composed ofα-Mg,RE oxides and Mg_(24)RE_(5) *** precipitates almost disappeared in the transition *** passivation effect was observed in the samples treated by a suitable high temperature *** original L-PBF samples lost 40%weight after 3-day immersion in Hank’s solution,and broke into fragments after 7-day *** casted and solution treated samples lost roughly half of the weight after 28-day *** high temperature oxidation samples,which were heated at 525℃ for 8 h,kept the structural integrity,and lost only 6.88%weight after 28-day *** substantially improved corrosion resistance was contributed to the gradient structure at the *** one hand,the outmost dense layer of RE oxides isolated the corrosive medium;on the other hand,the transition layer considerably inhibited the corrosion owing to the lack of ***,high temperature oxidation provides an efficient,economic and safe approach to inhibit the corrosion of WE43 L-PBF samples,and has promising prospects for future clinical applications.

Altered gene expression profiles of NIH3T3 cells regulated by human lung cancer associated gene CT120

CT120, a novel membrane-associated gene implicated in lung carcinogenesis, was previously identified from chromosome 17p13.3 locus, a hot mutation spot involved in human malignancies. In the present study, we further determined that CT120 ectopic expression could promote cell proliferation activity of NIH3T3 cells using MTS assay, and monitored the downstream effects of CT120 in NIH3T3 cells with Atlas mouse cDNA expression arrays. Among 588 known genes, 133 genes were found to be upregulated or downregulated by CT120. Two major signaling pathways involved in cell proliferation, cell survival and anti-apoptosis were overexpressed and activated in response to CT120: One is the Raf/MEK/Erk signal cascades and the other is the PI3K/Akt signal cascades, suggesting that CT120 might contribute, at least in part, to the constitutively activation of Erk and Akt in human lung caner cells. In addition, some tumor metastasis associated genes cathepsin B, cathepsin D, cathepsin L, MMP-2/TIMP-2 were also upregulated

Influence of layer thickness on formation quality,microstructure,mechanical properties,and corrosion resistance of WE43 magnesium alloy fabricated by laser powder bed fusion

Laser powder bed fusion(L-PBF)of Mg alloys has provided tremendous opportunities for customized production of aeronautical and medical *** thickness(LT)is of great significance to the L-PBF process but has not been studied for Mg *** this study,WE43 Mg alloy bulk cubes,porous scaffolds,and thin walls with layer thicknesses of 10,20,30,and 40μm were *** required laser energy input increased with increasing layer thickness and was different for the bulk cubes and porous *** tended to occur at the connection joints in porous scaffolds for LT40 and could be eliminated by reducing the laser energy *** thin wall parts,a large overhang angle or a small wall thickness resulted in porosity when a large layer thicknesses was used,and the porosity disappeared by reducing the layer thickness or laser energy input.A deeper keyhole penetration was found in all occasions with porosity,explaining the influence of layer thickness,geometrical structure,and laser energy input on the *** the samples achieved a high fusion quality with a relative density of over 99.5%using the optimized laser energy *** increased layer thickness resulted to more precipitation phases,finer grain sizes and decreased grain *** the similar high fusion quality,the tensile strength and elongation of bulk samples were significantly improved from 257 MPa and 1.41%with the 10μm layer to 287 MPa and 15.12%with the 40μm layer,in accordance with the microstructural *** effect of layer thickness on the compressive properties of porous scaffolds was ***,the corrosion rate of bulk samples accelerated with increasing the layer thickness,mainly attributed to the increased number of precipitation phases.

We have identified IC53-2, a human homologue of the rat C53 gene from a human placenta cDNA library (GeneBank Accession ***217982). IC53-2 can bind to the CDK5 activator p35 by in vitro association assay. IC53-2 is mapped to human chromosome 17q21.31. The IC53-2 transcript is highly expressed in kidney, liver, skeletal muscle and placenta. It is abundantly expressed in SMMC-7721, C-33A, 3AO, A431 and MCF-7 cancer cell lines by RT-PCR assay. Stable transfection of IC53-2 cDNA into the hepatocellular carcinoma SMMC-7721 cell remarkably stimulates its growth in vitro. The above results indicate that IC53-2 is a novel human gene, which may be involved in the regulation of cell proliferation.
