The underwater X-ray imaging technology development is significant to subaqueous target reconnaissance/detection/identification, subfluvial archaeology,submerged resource exploration, etc. As the core of X-ray imaging detection, the scintillator has been plagued by inherent moisture absorption and decomposition, and strict requirements for seamless packaging and ***, we designed a manganese-doped two-dimensional(2.) perovskite scintillator modified by hydrophobic longchain organic amine through the combination of component and doping engineering. The modified perovskites show high water repellency that can be used as an underwater X-ray scintillator. X-ray images of aquatic organisms or other objects with a high spatial resolution of10 lp·mm^(-1) at a big view field(3.1}mm × 3.1}mm) were obtained by scintillation screen. This hydrophobic perovskite scintillator based on molecular design is of great promise in underwater X-ray nondestructive testing technology development.

The semiconductive characteristics of clectron-transfrring proteins in living cells E coli was investigated by electrochemsical impedance spectroscopy(EIS). We found that the electrochemical impedance of living cells as a function of temprature followed the Arrhenius equation for semiconductors. This result shows a strong evidence to prove the semiconductive behavior of proteins

Objective To assess the diagnostic accuracy of bowel sound analysis for irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)with a systematic review and *** We searched MEDLINE,Embase,the Cochrane Library,Web of Science,and IEEE Xplore databases until September ***-sectional and case-control studies on diagnostic accuracy of bowel sound analysis for IBS were *** estimated the pooled sensitivity,specificity,positive likelihood ratio,negative likeli-hood ratio,and diagnostic odds ratio with a 95% confidence interval(ci),and plotted a summary receiver operat-ing characteristic curve and evaluated the area under the *** Four studies were *** pooled diagnostic sensitivity,specificity,positive likelihood ratio,nega-tive likelihood ratio,and diagnostic odds ratio were 0.94(95%ci,0.87‒0.97),0.89(95%ci,0.81‒0.94),8.43.95%ci,4.81‒14.78),0.07(95%ci,0.03.0.15),and 118.86(95%ci,44.18‒3.9.75),respectively,with an area under the curve of 0.97(95%ci,0.95‒0.98).Conclusions Computerized bowel sound analysis is a promising tool for ***,limited high-quality data make the results'validity and applicability *** is a need for more diagnostic test accuracy studies and better wearable devices for monitoring and analysis of IBS.

Diabetes mellitus in patients with type 1 autoimmune pancreatitis at diagnosis and after corticosteroid therapy

Background:A high prevalence of diabetes mellitus(DM)coexisting with autoimmune pancreatitis(AIP)is ***,evidence on the circumstances under which corticosteroid therapy(CST)for AIP improves or worsens DM is *** study aimed to demonstrate and identify predictors of DM control under the influence of ***:Patients diagnosed with type 1 AIP were enrolled from a prospectively maintained cohort and were classified into three groups according to the chronology in which AIP and DM were diagnosed:pre-existing DM(pDM),concurrent DM(cDM),and non-DM(nDM).The responses of DM to CST were assessed when corticosteroid was ceased or tapered to a maintenance dose and classified as‘improvement’and‘non-improvement’(including‘no change’and‘exacerbation’).Results:Among 101 patients with type 1 AIP,52.51.5%)patients were complicated with DM at the time of AIP diagnosis,with 3. patients in the cDM group and 16 patients in the pDM *** incidences of diffuse pancreatic swelling(72.2.)and pancreatic body/tail involvement(91.7%)were significantly higher in the cDM group than in both the pDM and nDM *** the 52.patients with DM,CST was administered in 48 *** logistic analysis identified that elevated serum gamma-glutamyl transferase(GGT)level at AIP diagnosis[odds ratio(OR)=0.03.1}95%confidence interval(ci):0.003.0.412.P=0.008]and pancreatic atrophy after CST(OR=0.02.,95%ci:0.003.0.2.5,P=0.003.were negatively associated with DM control ***:Patients with diffuse pancreatic swelling and pancreatic body/tail involvement in pancreatitis tended to be complicated with cDM at AIP *** exerted a beneficial effect on the clinical course of DM in nearly half of the AIP patients complicated with DM at diagnosis,particularly in those without elevated serum GGT levels at diagnosis and who did not experience pancreatic atrophy after CST.

Liposome Immunoassay for Determination of Phenytoin

Homogeneous liposome immunoassay for the determination of phenytoin was *** were prepared from cholesterol (CH) and phospholipids including dipalmitoyl phosphatidyl ethanolamine (DPPE) tbr conjugation with thiol-containing antibodies. Hemin chloride was entrapped in the liposome and antibody was modified by reaction with 3. (2.pyndyl-dithio) propionyl N-hydroxysuccinimide ester (SPDP) to introduce thiol groups for efficient coupling. Antibody-coupled liposomes (immunoliposomes) were incubated with phenytoin and complement, and then with hemin substrate. The amount of hemin released from immunoliposomes, which increases with concentration increase of phenytoin, can be detected rapidly by determining the fluorescence with its substrate p-hydroxyphenyl propionic acid (HPPA)and hydrogen peroxide.

A SENSITIVE PROTEIN ASSAY BY Co(II)-BIURET METHOD

A new and senseitive Co (II)-biuret method for determination of protein has for the first time been established. In visible wavelength region, the Co (II) -protein complexes had anabsorption peak at 3.0 nm. -Under the present conditions. the assay had a linear range of 0-12. μg/ml of protein with a detection limit of about 2.μg/ml, and similar calibration curves were obtained for BSA. and BγG. Compared with Cu (II) -biuret method, the present Co (II) -biuret method was more simple, sensitive, and tolerant of interferences from non-protein molecules.

Carbendazim,a widely used fungicide in China,has been found to have reproductive toxicity and mutagenic ***,information on the spatial-temporal variations of carbendazim residues in food in China is ***,we investigated the presence of carbendazim in China's plant-based foods from 2.11 to 2.2.,evaluated the spatial-temporal characteristics,and assessed the associated exposure risks in the Chinese *** results revealed a high detection frequency of carbendazim in fruits(2..4%)and high concentrations in vegetables(~110 mg kg^(-1)),indicating widespread misuse of the *** acute risks of consuming certain vegetables and cereals exceeded the recommended limits by up to 12.and 5 times,*** there has been a decline in carbendazim residue levels in food since the implementation of the Chinese government's action plan for zero growth of pesticide use in 2.15,some provinces still exhibited high levels of carbendazim in multiple food categories,which were positively correlated with annual pesticide *** highlight that carbendazim contamination reflects the broader issue of pesticide use in *** emphasizes the need for committed and targeted national policies to reduce carbendazim residues in food and suggests that such measures could also regulate the use of other pesticides,given that pesticide abuse in China is not limited to specific *** call for the re-evaluation of maximum residue limits of carbendazim,particularly in highly consumed foods such as cereals.

The impedance matching of absorbers is a vital factor affecting their microwave absorption(MA)*** this work,we controllably synthesized Material of Institute Lavoisier 88C(MIL-88C)with varying aspect ratios(AR)as a precursor by regulating oil bath conditions,followed by one-step thermal decomposition to obtain carbon-coated iron-based *** the precursor MIL-88C(Fe)preparation conditions,such as the molar ratio between metal ions and organic ligands(M/O),oil bath temperature,and oil bath time,influenced the phases,graphitization degree,and AR of the derivatives,enabling low filler loading,achieving well-matched impedance,and ensuring outstanding MA *** MOF-derivatives 2.MD_(2.)/polyvinylidene Difluoride(PVDF),MD_(3./PVDF,and MD4/PVDF absorbers all exhibited excellent MA properties with optimal filler loadings below 2. wt%and as low as 5 wt%.The MD_(2./PVDF(5 wt%)achieved a maximum effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 5.52.GHz(1.90 mm).The MD_(3./PVDF(10 wt%)possessed a minimum reflection loss(RL_(min))value of−67.4 at 12.56 GHz(2.13.mm).A symmetric gradient honeycomb structure(SGHS)was constructed utilizing the high-frequency structure simulator(HFSS)to further extend the EAB,achieving an EAB of 14.6 GHz and a RL_(min) of−59.0 *** research offers a viable inspiration to creating structures or materials with high-effi{2.ency MA properties.
