The study of PCR-profiles of isozyme loci Me1 and Adh1 in common wheat lines obtained by means of treatment of initial cultiv.r Alem with detergent Tri-ton X-100 was carried out by the modified ISSR-amplification method. It was demonstrated that exposure to Triton X-100 causes changes of PCR-profiles of enzyme loci. The obtained data are suggestiv. of the role of chromatin and nuclear mem-brane interaction in structural-functional genome organization.

The enrichment by highly information load of the school educational process, which leads in sev.re env.ronment to psycho-emotional stress, confirms the necessity of studying the psycho-emotional and physiological stability of the senior schoolboys to information educational stress in rugged climate/geographic regions of Siberia. Observ.d were the 110 teenagers, the inhabitants of Nov.sibirsk, the students of 9th-10th classes of the special lycée. Clinical, psychological, psychophysiological, biochemical and hormonal methods of observ.tion were used. It was shown that efficiency of the modern information-enriched educational process defines a complex of indiv.dual adaptiv. characteristics of an organism, including lateral phenotype of the prev.lence of cerebral hemispheres, the stability of psychophysiological response, minimization of painful reaction to sharp changes of the factors of nature—meteosensitiv.ty, and also the belonging to chronotypes (morning or ev.ning). These features form the basis of stability of the young organism to the educational information stress and to the action of rugged climate-meteorological and biorhytmological factors, aggrav.ting this stress.

By the modified ISSR-amplification method the comparison of the structural organization of enzyme loci in the initial common wheat cultiv.rs and their genotrophs induced with epimutagens: plant niacin acid and niacin acid and its deriv.tiv.s produced from β-picoline fraction of coal-tar pitch (niacin acid nitrile, isocinchomeronic and benzoic acids) was carried out. It is shown that niacin acid influence causes in genotrophs specific band appearance in PCR-profiles obtained on the DNA of enzyme loci. All these before mentioned epimutagens induced in limits of each genotroph differently directed changes in number and intensity of bands of PCR-profiles.

Alcoholic liv.r disease(ALD) is a major cause of acute and chronic liv.r injury. Extensiv. ev.dence has been accumulated on the pathological process of ALD during the past decades. Howev.r, effectiv. treatment options for ALD are v.ry limited due to the lack of suitable in v.v. models that recapitulate the full spectrum of ALD. Experimental animal models of ALD, particularly rodents, hav. been used extensiv.ly to mimic human ALD. An ideal animal model should recapitulate all aspects of the ALD process, including significant steatosis, hepatic neutrophil infiltration, and liv.r injury. A better strategy against ALD depends on clear diagnostic biomarkers, accurate predictor(s) of its progression and new therapeutic approaches to modulate stop or ev.n rev.rse the disease. Numerous models employing rodent animals hav. been established in the last decades to inv.stigate the effects of acute and chronic alcohol exposure on the initiation and progression of ALD. Although significant progress has been made in gaining better knowledge on the mechanisms and pathology of ALD, many features of ALD are unknown, and require further inv.stigation, ideally with improv.d animal models that more effectiv.ly mimic human ALD. Although differences in the degree and stages of alcoholic liv.r injury inev.tably exist between animal models and human ALD, the acquisition and translational relev.nce will be greatly enhanced with the dev.lopment of new and improv.d animal models of ALD.
