Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),with several antigenic variants,has grown into a global challenge,and the rapid establishment of an immune barrier is crucial to achieving long-term control of the *** has led to a great demand for easy preparation and scalable vaccines,especially in low-income ***,we present an inhalable nanovaccine comprising chitosan and SARS-CoV-2 spike *** chitosan-mediated nanovaccine enabled a strong spike-specific antibody immune response and augmented local mucosal immunity in bronchoalveolar lavage and lungs,which might be capable of protecting the host from infection without systemic *** addition,the enhanced adaptive immunity stimulated by chitosan showed potential protection against ***,inhalation of the nanovaccine induced a comparable antibody response compared to intramuscular *** inhalable nanovaccine against SARS-CoV-2 offers a convenient and compliant strategy to reduce the use of needles and the need for medical staff.

Effects of Nutrients on Biofouling Formation and Preponderant Bacteria Diversity in Recirculating Cooling Water System

A series of orthogonal array experiments were conducted using carbon source, ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus （TP） as major influencing factors to investigate the effects of nutrients on biofouling formation and preponderant bacteria diversity in the recirculatiug cooling water system. Carbon source was demonstrated to be the most significant determinant affecting the biofouling formation. A minimum biofouling outcome was obtained when BOD2, NHa＋-N and TP were 25, 10, and 1 mg/L, respectively. Then the preponderant bacteria strains in biofouling mass under two typical culture conditions （negative and favorable） were identified applying both traditional biochemical methods and further molecular biology technology with phylogenetic affiliation analysis, which indicated that Enterobacteriaceae Enterobacter, Micrococcaceae Staphylococcus, Bacillaceae Bacillus, Enterobacteriaceae Proteus, Neisseriaceae Neisseria and Pseudomonadaceae Pseudomonas were dominant under negative condition, while Enterobacteriaceae Klebsiella, Enterobacteriaceae Enterobacter and Microbacterium - under favorable one.

Adhesives play an important role in modern society's production and daily *** robust and sustainable adhesives remains a great *** we report a sustainable epoxy-vitrimer adhesive with high adhesive strength(about 10 MPa)and reusability(82%strength after 3.times).This adhesive can be fabricated from commercially available products through a straightforward hot-pressing method without the need of *** adhesive process is also simple,requiring only 3. min at 180℃.In addition,the vitrimer adhesive has the advantages of both erasability for reuse and excellent water *** work provides a facile strategy to fabricate high-strength adhesive that ensures reusability,recyclability,low cost of raw materials,and simple processing ***,it expands the range of potential applications for epoxy vitrimers.

Five multinuclear cyclotriphosphazene ligands were synthesized and tested for their cleavage activities to plasmid DNA. All of these new compounds were confirmed by MS, ^1H NMR, ^3.P NMR, ^13. NMR and IR. Preliminary studies on the cleavage of pUC19 DNA in the presence of metal complexes were performed. The results revealed that these complexes could act as powerful catalysts under physiological conditions. The complexes 3. ＋ Cu can effectively cleave DNA to nicked form, giving hydrolysis rate constant of 0.08/h under physiological conditions. An acid-base catalyzed DNA phosphate-diester hydrolysis mechanism was also orooosed.

A series of N-phosphoryl branched peptides were synthesized by coupling of various N-phosphoryl amino acids to L-Lysine methyl ester, and their structures were confirmed by 3.P NMR, 1H NMR, MS and elemental analysis. The results of cell biological tests indicated that compound 1d and 1e obviously inhibited the growth of both K562 and A2780 cells.

The spontaneous condensation of the amphiphilic N-（O,O-dihexadecyl）phosphorylalanine on the cast film was observed by in situ investigation of transmission infrared spectroscopy The particular orientation and ordered packing of the monomers within the multilayers of the cast film is concluded to attribute to the spontaneous condensation between the monomers.
