The inland saltwater lakes harbor exceptional ***,two new species of solitary sessile peritrich ciliates were isolated from Qinghai Lake,the largest inland saltwater lake in *** morphology,ciliature,silverline system,and molecular phylogeny were investigated based on live observation,silver staining,and analysis of the small subunit ribosomal DNA(SSU rDNA).Vorticella paraglobosa *** characterized mainly by its obconical or elongate bell-shaped zooid,C-shaped macronucleus,single ventrally located contractile vacuole,two-rowed infundibular polykinety 3,and 28-38 silverlines between peristome and aboral tro-chal band and 10-15 between aboral trochal band and *** cotyliformis *** from its congeners mainly by its double-layered peristomial lip,cup-shaped zooid,J-shaped macronucleus,single ventrally positioned contractile vacuole,three-rowed infundibular polykinety 3,and 70-85 silverlines between peristome and aboral trochal band and 21-25 between aboral trochal band and *** SSU rDNA sequences of the two new species were obtained,and the subsequent molecular phylogenetic analysis supported their taxonomic classification.

Objectives Renal replacement therapy(RRT)is increasingly adopted for critically ill patients diagnosed with acute kidney injury,but the optimal time for initiation remains unclear and prognosis is uncertain,leading to medical complexity,ethical conflicts,and decision dilemmas in intensive care unit(ICU)*** study aimed to develop a decision aid(DA)for the family surrogate of critically ill patients to support their engagement in shared decision-making process with *** Development of DA employed a systematic process with user-centered design(UCD)principle,which included:(i)competitive analysis:searched,screened,and assessed the existing DAs to gather insights for design strategies,developmental techniques,and functionalities;(ii)user needs assessment:interviewed family surrogates in our hospital to explore target user group's decision-making experience and identify their unmet needs;(iii)evidence syntheses:integrate latest clinical evidence and pertinent information to inform the content development of *** The competitive analysis included 16 relevant DAs,from which we derived valuable insights using existing *** decision needs were explored among a cohort of 15 family surrogates,revealing four thematic issues in decision-making,including stuck into dilemmas,sense of uncertainty,limited capacity,and delayed decision confirmation.A total of 27 articles were included for evidence *** decision making knowledge on disease and treatment,as delineated in the literature sourced from decision support system or clinical guidelines,were formatted as the foundational knowledge ***-one items of evidence were extracted and integrated into the content panels of benefits and risks of RRT,possible outcomes,and reasons to *** DA was drafted into a web-based phototype using the elements of *** platform could guide users in their preparation of decision-making through a sequential four-step process:identifying

The Bay of Bengal(BoB)tropical cyclones(TCs)and the Tibetan Plateau vortices(TPVs)are two crucial weather systems influencing the Tibetan Plateau(TP).Their synergistic effects can lead to widespread heavy precipitation events on the *** this study,we employ the Hybrid Single-Particle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory(HYSPLIT)model to track the trajectory of water vapor transport during three large-scale precipitation events on the TP under the combined influence of BoB TCs and *** results indicate that low-level water vapor from the BoB under the influence of BoB TCs was cyclonically entangled into the cyclonic circulation,lifted and transported northward by southwesterly flow to the southeastern part of the TP,which contributes to the moistening of the entire troposphere ***,convergence of the cyclonic circulation of the TPVs on the northern TP further transports water vapor collected in the southeastern TP northward,conducive to the maintenance and development of precipitation systems,thus inducing widespread heavy precipitation events over the TP.

Doyle-Kirmse rearrangement reactions have received continuous attention as an important method for constructing complex chemical structures. Herein, we disclosed an efficient rhodium-catalyzed DoyleKirmse rearrangement reaction, which can simultaneously construct C–C bonds and C–X(X = S/Se) bonds using sulfoxonium ylides as starting materials to obtain sulfur-or selenium-containing compounds. This strategy is characterized by the safer and greener carbene precursor, high yields and broad substrate scope, possessing a wide range of application.
